Abstract: The invention relates to a fixing mortar system for embedding anchoring means in mortar in holes or crevices, based on one or more hardening epoxy-based reactive resins, characterised in that it includes silanes which may or may not have reactive groups capable of participating in the polymerisation with a synthetic resin based on the hardening epoxy-based reactive synthetic resin(s) but which in any case have Si-bonded hydrolysable groups, and to related inventive subject matter such as processes, kits and uses.

Abstract: An insert for a receptacle intended to contain a concentrated product in solid or liquid form includes a main part (1) formed by a base (2) extended on the edge by a wall (3) perpendicular to the base, with an opening (4) formed in the base. A receptacle with such an insert is also provided. In order to enable emptying the receptacle entirely without leaving dead spaces in which the products to be solubilized may accumulate, the face of the base (2) intended to be in the receptacle after assembly is concave at the opening, so that the opening is at the bottom of a trough (6). This avoids corners in which the liquid would not circulate sufficiently, and prevents solid product from accumulating elsewhere than in the trough, so that it is always subjected to the flow of liquid.

The second sub-chamber is open to a conduit configured for the carriage of water from the second sub-chamber to an output port of the water collection tank. In use a filter disposed in the second sub-chamber preferentially filters water from the first sub-chamber such filtered water being deflected by the wall of the second sub-chamber to fall into the water collection chamber while the debris laden waste water falls out the lower part of the filter into the conduit.

The one or more salt(s) of receptor species is selected from the groups comprising: (a) aluminium salts; (b) titanium salts; (c) zirconium salts; (d) iron salts; (e) soluble alkali silicates; or a combination thereof. The method further comprises coating the treated fibrous base material with a coating formulation comprising one or more compound(s) containing epoxy and alkoxysilane groups. The coating formulation acts as an adhesion promoter and cross-linker.

The handle of the removable mini caddy nests with the handle of the caddy while they are attached, providing the user with a single handled tote that is easy to transport and use while still having the convenience of an extra tote where objects can be temporarily removed and then replaced without the need for transferring the objects from one tote to another. The removable mini caddy may be easily removed and then replaced within the caddy while remaining securely in place during use and transport.

Abstract: Described herein is a multi-section housing unit for a trash bin comprising: one or three sides, a top surface and a bottom surface such that an inner space is defined within the housing unit, and wherein said inner space is separated into three compartments; said top surface having three openings, each of said openings positioned over each compartment; three cabinet doors, wherein each cabinet door defines a portion of the one to three sides of the bin and opens into one of the three said compartments; and an opening means on each cabinet door. The multi-section housing unit is useful for the collection of waste and the separation of trash, recyclable, and compostable waste.

Abstract: While tumor hypoxia is recognized as a key barrier to effective chemo and radiation therapy of solid tumor malignancies, and an important biological mediator of more aggressive tumor phenotype and behavior for over 50 years, prior attempts to improve tumor oxygenation have relied on increasing the total amount of oxygen bound to each molecule of natural hemoglobin (e.g. through hyperbaric oxygen treatments), increasing the ease of release of oxygen from hemoglobin (through the introduction of exogenous allosteric small molecules), or increasing the total amount of oxygen in the body by injecting perfluorocarbon emulsions, or polymerized or pegylated compositions of natural human or bovine hemoglobin. The embodiments provide a novel approach of introducing into the vascular system agents that possess inherently higher-affinities for molecular oxygen that that of natural human hemoglobin, and coupling these agents with inert carriers that shield them from unwanted biological interactions within the body.

The upper reservoir section is easily lifted and transported, such as by crane. A docking station on the lower reservoir section is receptive of the upper reservoir section. A piping system enables a selected fluid volume contained in a tank of the upper reservoir section to be selectively transmitted to a selected tank of the lower reservoir section. The lower reservoir section has its own piping system that enables a user to withdraw fluid from any selected one of its tanks.
