    Abstract: In a heated transport tank, the lower zone of the tank jacket 10 is surrounded by an outer shell 15 spaced from the jacket by socket-type projections 16 integrally formed in the shell 15. The outer shell 15, which forms a vapour flow chamber 20, extends throughout the axial length of the tank. At an intermediate location, where the tank is supported by a transverse bar 11 of a base structure via a transverse saddle 25, the socket-type projections 16 are reinforced by spacers inserted between the tank jacket 10 and the shell 15, each spacer being formed as a stack of comparatively thin annular discs. The individual discs are capable of conforming themselves to the local curvature of the tank jacket 10 and following instantaneous variations in curvature, thereby ensuring a uniform distribution of forces under all load conditions.

A front wall (17) also extends upwardly from the bottom surface (13) and includes a U-shaped door frame (18) formed at the top thereof. The bottom surface (13) is undulated to form peaks (29) with a valley (30) therebetween configured so as to neatly receive the cans (C). The cover (12) includes a top surface (33) having a downturned rim (34) resting on the rims (20, 21). A living hinge (36) connects top surface (33) to a door (37) which is received within door frame (18). Cans (C) passed laterally through door (37) are automatically stacked on the undulated bottom surface (13) of the base container (11).

    Abstract: A mushroom tray comprising a tray portion having opposing sidewalls, opposing end walls and a substantially flat bottom sheet having a parallity of channels formed therein and extending therealong, corrosion-resistant I-beams positioned within the channels for strengthening and stiffening the bottom sheet, and a parallity of clips for securing the I-beams to the underside of the bottom sheet. In a preferred embodiment, the trays include downwardly projecting legs which are shaped enable the trays to be stacked vertically. Also in the preferred embodiment, the trays are made of a polyolefin and the I-beams are made of aluminum. The end walls also preferably include I-beams for re-enforcement; the I-beams are totally enclosed in the end wall structure to minimize exposure to a corrosive atmosphere.

    Abstract: A waste separation container for selectively separating and storing waste material includes a receptacle with an upper edge with slits in its opening upwardly to receive and hold a plurality of thin plastic bags in an open position. The slits are preferably defined by flexible lobes, contiguous one another and extending along the upper edge of the receptacle. Preferably, a closure for the receptacle is provided, that has specifically designated through apertures that allow for discernable placement of recyclable material in a correspondingly appropriate compartment or bag. The provision of strips of flexible material with lobes defining between them bag-retaining slits, either to be mounted on existing containers, on partitions for existing containers or holders to be placed in existing containers permits retrofitting of existing waste receptacles to accomplish the object of making easy the segregation of waste as it is generated.
