Abstract: A molded plastic tank, optionally a septic tank, for containing liquid, comprises two injection molded plastic half tanks that have concave exterior walls and integral flanges, and that nest within each other for shipment or storage. Lengthwise ends of the half tanks have grips, for manual or machine lifting of the half tank from the top of a concave-down stack of half tanks, and for then assembling whole tanks. A sling is used to machine lift one or several half tanks by attachment to the grips or to lifting lugs at the top of the half tank. A corrugated septic tank having spaced apart access port regions has a grid of ribs in the exterior top valley corrugations and running across the access port region, to provide strength during testing and use.

In a fully extended configuration, the grasping portion of the handle rises above the top side of the generally planar body of the lid. In a fully retracted configuration, the grasping portion of the handle is fully beneath the generally planar body of the top side of the lid. A combined height of the lid and the vessel, when the lid is engaged with the vessel, may be at least 23.8% less when in the fully retracted configuration compared to the fully extended configuration.

Abstract: The handle end portions are attached to the tray by separate connectors. The tray has spaced openings to receive the connectors. Each connector has an anchor-shaped section which is received in a tray opening and a section which engages a handle end portion. The anchor-shaped section has arms which flex to permit the connector to be received in the tray opening and thereafter return to their extended position to cooperate with the tray to securely attach the connector to the tray and prevent free rotation of the connector. The outer jaw comprises a groove that can receive the free end of the curved part of the lateral wall in abutment when the jaws are in the closed position thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a bottle body and a handle member mounted on the bottle body. A mounting projecting portion forming a polygonal cross-sectional shape projects from the bottle body, and the handle member is provided with a mounting hole forming a substantially rectangular cross-sectional shape into which the mounting projecting portion is inserted. The handle member is mounted on the bottle body such that four side portions of the mounting hole are brought into pressure contact with a pair of lateral pressure-contacting portions and a pair of axial pressure-contacting portions on the outer peripheral edge of the polygonal cross-sectional shape by inserting the mounting projecting portion into the mounting hole, and then relatively rotating the bottle body and the handle member. Accordingly, a bottle container with a handle having simple structure and capable of firmly fixing the bottle body and the handle member to each other can be provided.

The brackets are in laterally spaced relationship such that a space is located between portions of the brackets. Each bracket has opposing inner and outer face portions with an interior gap formed between therebetween. The interior gap is fluidly isolated from the cavity. A rib is located within the interior gaps such that each rib extends inwardly relative to the space between the brackets. A retention bar is coupled to each bracket and spans the space from one bracket to the other bracket wherein opposing ends of the retention bar extend into the interior gap of each bracket, and an exposed portion of the retention bar spans the space between the brackets. The end portions of the retention bar abut the ribs.

The adjoining closed end is centrally disposed along a transversal axis of the rectangular sidewall. A similarly constructed elongated base slot is provided on the base. The adjoining closed end of the base slot is centrally disposed on the square base. A neck is centrally provided on the top and extends from the top, it has a surrounding rim and an opening thereon. The rim of the neck and the internal recess of the base slot and the sidewall slot are dimensioned and shaped for sliding and interconnecting engagement.

The fixed jaw and the moveable jaw can include spacing portions and the gripping portions of the fixed jaw and the moveable jaw can extend from the respective spacing portions. The clamping portion can include a longitudinally extending guide and the handle portion can include a receiving portion adapted to receive the guide.

Abstract: Improvement in a can of the type which comprises: a body portion; a neck portion of reduced contour and having an upper end edge provided with an outer peripheral projection and defining the contour of an upper opening; a transition portion joining the body portion and the neck portion; and a lid having a peripheral tubular portion to be fitted in the interior of the upper opening of the neck portion and having a free upper edge carrying an outer circumferential rib under which is applied an annular gasket to be seated onto the upper outer edge of the neck portion upon the fitting of the lid in the upper opening. The transition portion may externally incorporate, in a single piece, a plurality of spaced apart longitudinal ribs joining the transition portion to an adjacent lower region of the neck portion.

Abstract: A reusable, foldable, detachable handle is disclosed that can grip a drinking vessel by pressing against both the upper and lower rims of the vessel, thereby providing stable and reliable attachment thereto. The detachable handle can be folded when not in use for easy carrying and storage, and when in use it can be fixed in an unfolded configuration by a sleeve or flap that spans a foldable portion. Preferred embodiments allow attachment to vessels of different heights by being adjustable in length and/or by including a plurality of base-gripping features at different locations along the handle. Some preferred embodiments include gripping spike that enhances gripping security by applying opposing pressure to the upper rim. The gripping spike can be fixed in location or slidable along the handle. Further preferred embodiments include a bottle opener, and some preferred embodiments are attachable to a key ring or include a key ring.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of removable handles for cookware. The use of a single interchangeable and removable handle with different pieces of cookware has several advantages. One advantage is that the overall assembly is much smaller to store, as the handle may be removed and stored in a separate location, reducing the overall size of the assembly. In addition, a single handle may be utilized for multiple cooking vessels as it is common for only one handle to be utilized at a single time. Even though multiple cooking vessels may be used simultaneously, the handle is only utilized for repositioning or stabilizing the cooking vessel. In this way, when no cooking vessel is in use, only one handle need be stored, rather than separate (possibly attached) handles for each article of cookware.

Abstract: A Dutch oven with an improved handle assembly is provided. The assembly may include a handle configured to removably engage a receiver on the lid of the Dutch oven. The handle may be used to transport a Dutch oven to a heating source and, once placed in the heating source, removed and stored so that the handle is not subject to heat while the Dutch oven is used for cooking. To remove the Dutch oven from the heating source, the handle may be reinserted into the receiver and used to lift the Dutch oven from the heating source. The Dutch oven may also include one or more retaining members to securely hold the Dutch oven's lid in place.

Abstract: A handle of a detachable grilling pan has: a main body with a downward opening and a window, both disposed on the top side of the main body, a shaft, a “L” shaped hook and a spring. The main body is connected to the grilling pan by a fixing plate. The “L” shaped hook is hinged to the shaft, and the long straight free end of it extends out the window of the handle, and the short straight free end of it extends out the opening of the handle body and toward the grilling pan. The spring presses against the long straight end to make the free end of the short straight end hook the opening of the shell of the grill. When the long straight part of the hook is pressed, the hook rotates around the shaft and the grilling pan can be removed from the grill shell.

During the pivoting of the grab bar, the first positioning element is deformed. The second end of the grab bar is inserted into the opening in the second sidewall, allowing the first positioning element to snap back to its original, non-deformed orientation. When the grab bar is installed, the positioning elements are positioned at the outer ends of the grab bar.

Abstract: A cookware system is provided having a container, particularly a cooking vessel, at least one downwardly directed receiver, and a non-coupling handle having a contact member at its end sized to the receiver, which combination provides increased safety and utility. By virtue of the downwardly directed receiver and the upwardly directed contact member, the handle of the cookware system contacts and drives the cooking vessel only during and for so long as the operator, the cook, provides upward force to the handle to temporarily engage the cooking vessel. Upon removal of the upward force from the operator, the handle disengages from the receiver, preventing the potential that a person, whether the operator, a child or another, could contact the handle and cause a spill or burn.

In the current embodiment, the grab bar includes a snap element near the retention end and a flange portion between the snap element and the free-sliding end. When the grab bar is installed, a portion of the second sidewall is positioned between the snap element and the flange portion.

Abstract: An inventive pouring spout that is selectively attachable to a container and fitted to the opening of the container with which it is used. In a preferred embodiment, the pouring spout is fitted to the dimensions of a one-quart container and includes a wall, a sealing member, a mouth and a handle. The handle is connected to the wall with a hinge that enables the handle to pivot away from the container to allow the sealing member to be appropriately positioned while the container rests flat on a surface. After the sealing member is in place, the handle is then pivoted back in position to securely hold the container. The handle includes a plurality of upwardly extending projections adapted to securely engage the bottom rim of the container. Abstract: People often need to recharge batteries for portable electronics in remote locations where there is no electrical grid. One way to recharge these batteries is to harvest energy from a source of heat such as a camping stove using a thermoelectric module. Prior art depicts using a thermoelectric module harvesting energy from a stove and using a pot of water to cool one side of the module. The current invention improves upon prior art by maximizing power output and efficiency, increasing energy and power density, reducing the risk of damaging the thermoelectric module, and providing communication to the electronic device being charged.
