Abstract: A panel case of a display panel is provided with a first fixing piece extending rearward (in the Y2 direction), and a female threaded hole is formed in the first fixing piece. A support bracket is provided with a second fixing piece extending rearward (in the Y2 direction), and an attachment hole is formed in the second fixing piece. The first fixing piece has a first elongate hole portion opened between the female threaded hole and a first base portion, and the second fixing piece has a second elongate hole portion formed between the attachment hole and a second base portion. Therefore, the fastening force from a fixing screw is less likely to be transmitted to the first base portion of the first fixing piece, and strain of the display panel can be regulated.

Abstract: A metal container body 1 comprises a base and a generally cylindrical side wall 3. The top edge of the cylindrical side wall is rolled over to form a hollow annular bead 5 surrounding the upper open end of the container body and a notch 6 is formed at a circumferential point in the annular bead. The container body is for use with a releasable closure 2 formed with an end wall 7 and a depending skirt 8 and having an annular layer of sealing material 9 provided on the inside of the end wall adjacent the skirt. When the closure is pressed onto the container body, the annular bead engages the annular layer of sealing material and some of that material extends into the notch 6. The closure is held on the container only by the partial vacuum formed therein during processing of a food product in the container. After processing, the user opens the container by rotating the closure. Sealing material in the notch forces the closure to lift off from the container to break the seal and release the closure.

Abstract: An improved synthetic resin spout stopper to be combined with a discharge port of a container is provided. The spout stopper does not pose difficulty in breaking an annular score formed in an annular flange wall, when discarding the container. Damage to the annular score is avoided even if a considerably great impact is applied to the spout stopper owing to a fall of the container. Damage to the annular score is also avoided even when ultrasonic welding is adopted for welding the container and the spout stopper together. In an inner peripheral edge part of the annular flange wall, an annular additional score is disposed adjacent to the annular score radially outwardly of and/or radially inwardly of the annular score.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a waterproof box capable of improving waterproof performance and workability, and space-saving. When high-pressure washing is performed, washing water injected toward the waterproof box hits a peripheral wall of a box main body, and then washing water is increased along the peripheral wall. Since the increased washing water hits a lower surface of a first waterproof portion of a main body side waterproof structure, some force of the water is reduced. Furthermore, a part of the increase washing water passes through a space arranged inside of a wall upward.

Abstract: A cover for a medical waste disposal receptacle and a method of manufacturing a cover for a medical waste disposal receptacle. The cover generally comprises a body portion configured to substantially close an open end of the receptacle and a lid portion hingedly interconnected to the body portion via an integrally formed hinge extending between the lid portion and a portion of the body portion. The body portion includes a covering surface with an access opening therethrough and at least a first, fixed sloped slide surface depending from the covering surface configured to provide a fixed tortuous path extending from the access opening.

Abstract: A screw closure (10) has a screw cap (1) and a tamperproof band (5). The screw cap (1) has a head plate (2) with a cylindrical lateral cap surface (3,provided with an internal thread (4) and wherein the tamperproof band (5) has a flexible band (6) and is connected to the lower periphery of the lateral cap surface (3) via one or more easy-tear elements (7). In order to create a screw closure which has a flexible band and, even with relatively large tolerance deviations between the closure and container neck, still ensures that the tamperproof band can be reliably torn off is thus providing enhanced functional reliability. The flexible band (6) is a continuously encircling flexible band which, distributed over its circumference, has portions (8) which can be extended easily and, therebetween, portions (9) which are less easy to extend.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a disposable bioreactor, consisting of a container and a cap, which is connectable to the same and cannot be detached without destruction. For this purpose, the cap comprises a retaining structure with a plurality of locking arms running in the lateral direction, while the locking arms are adapted to be resiliently shortened in the longitudinal direction and to be locked vertically to the longitudinal direction in the container by way of a retaining surface.

Abstract: Reversible nose faceplate. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are systems including a faceplate and a nose member. The nose member includes: an extension portion; a nose portion; a first abutting surface; a second abutting surface; a first set of ears coupled to the extension portion adjacent the nose portion; and a second set of ears coupled to the extension portion opposite the first set of ears. The nose member is configured to couple to the faceplate in multiple configurations, including: a first configuration in which the nose portion protrudes through a nose aperture of the faceplate in the direction of the front side of the faceplate, the first abutting surface abuts the back side of the faceplate, and the faceplate is affixed to the first set of ears; and a second configured in which the nose portion protrudes in the direction of the back side of the faceplate, the second abutting surface abuts the back side of the faceplate, and the faceplate is affixed to the second set of ears.

Abstract: Fit structure of a housing formed of first and second halves is provided. The first half has a fit projection piece having a fit tongue at the tip. The second half has a presser part and an engaging piece constituting a fit groove. The fit projection piece, presser part and engaging piece are formed so that the fit tongue is positioned in the inner part of the fit groove along the root of the presser part. The housing further has a nail stuck out in an inward or outward direction of the housing and a nail holder engaged with the nail. The nail and nail holder are located at one and the other of a part of the fit projection piece and a corresponding part of the engaging piece. The part of the fit projection piece is nearer to the root of the fit projection piece than the fit tongue.

Abstract: A lid is provided for engagement with a projecting rim of an opening on a container. The lid includes a covering panel for closing the container opening and a skirt formed on a periphery of the cover and depending therefrom. The skirt overlaps with the container rim when the cover is positioned over the opening. The skirt includes a defined gap therein that is positioned between adjacent gap edges. A clasp is provided on the periphery of the cover adjacent the defined gap. The clasp pivots between an open position and an engaged position. In the engaged position, the clasp engages the gap edges and draws the edges toward one another. The drawing of the gap edges moves the skirt inwardly towards the container rim. The lid may further include a flexing portion defining a connection between the cover panel and the skirt. The engagement of the clasp on the skirt causes compliance of the flexing portion and a corresponding axial movement of the skirt relative to the cover panel.

At least some of the illustrative embodiments are systems including: a faceplate that defines a front side, a back side and a nose aperture, the faceplate configured to removably attach to a surface; a nose portion that defines a top side, a bottom side, a nose edge and a lip that outlines a portion of the bottom side; and a passage defined between the faceplate and the nose edge. The nose portion is both: configured to couple to the faceplate in a first configuration in which the nose portion protrudes through the nose aperture in the direction of the front side of the faceplate and the lip abuts the back side of the faceplate; and configured to couple to the faceplate in a second configuration in which the nose portion protrudes in the direction of the back side of the faceplate and the lip abuts the back side of the faceplate.

Abstract: A protective device for a wall region to be protected, includes a collar which has recesses penetrating the collar and is disposed around the wall region to be protected in an intended configuration of the protective device. A protective cap includes a base and a casing, which extends from the base substantially perpendicularly up to a casing edge and has recesses penetrating the casing. The casing recesses extend from the casing edge in the direction of the base of the protective cap. Casing sections are formed between the recesses. In the intended configuration of the protective device, the casing is disposed between the collar and the wall region to be protected, and one of the casing sections is disposed between each collar recess and the wall region to be protected so that a free linear connection is prevented between the respective collar recess and the wall region to be protected.

The cover displays the number of times a user has ever opened the container which contains medication to thereby inform the user of the user's history of medication use with a view to protecting the user from unnecessary repeat medication and suggesting the user to take medication.

Abstract: A flip tray is provided that includes a transparent, compartmentalized container body and a flexible sealing sheet sealed to partition walls and to the peripheral rim of the compartmentalized container body. A raised rib is formed around the periphery of the container body outside the peripheral rim. Apertures, or reduced height portions, may be formed in the raised rib at selected locations around the periphery of the container body. In addition, the bottom surfaces of some of the compartments may be sloped.

Abstract: Disclosed is a two or three phase separator including a centrifugal separator, a demister (if a three phase separator), and a filter contained within a housing. The filter uses an outside-in flow principle. The filter includes an inner layer or a center core that defines a hollow interior. An outer layer is positioned adjacent and surrounding the inner layer. The outer layer includes a re-enforcement layer, a first particle filter layer, a coalescer layer, and a second particle filter layer. An access cover of the separator includes a cover plug, an actuator cam, a plurality of idler cam plates, and a plurality of mechanisms. The access cover cooperates with an opening and an annular groove in the housing to close off and seal the separator.

Abstract: A container cap locking a plug member to a mouth by a locking member and capable of being removed from the mouth together with the plug member by repositioning a holder member. The locking member is covered on the container mouth so as to hold the plug and the holder member is fitted to the outer peripheral sides of a plurality of locking pieces of the locking member. In each locking piece, an upper side part is connected to a lower side part through a thin-walled bending part. The upper side part is locked to the rubber plug from the lower side with the holder member on the outer peripheral side thereof. The lower side part is locked to the container mouth from the lower side by the holder member. Locking projected parts prevent the lower end of the holder member from coming out of the upper side part.

Abstract: A container comprising a snap-in closure disposed between an upper part and a lower part of the container, the snap-in closure having a relatively strong holding or locking force and able to be opened relatively easily. The snap-in closure comprises a snap-in tab constructed out of the wall of one part of the container and detached along three sides, with a snap-in key disposed at the upper free end of the said snap-in closure and able to engage in a coordinated snap-in slit at the opposite container part.

Abstract: A fastening structure of a clean container is combined on a cover of the clean container with a dismountable fastener member, such that the cover is closed or opened on a base of the clean container. The fastener member includes a body, a positioning portion, and an elastic fastening arm, that are one-piece formed. The positioning portion extends from one side of the body to form a flat spring. A flange is formed on the flat spring to fasten the fastener member on the cover. The elastic fastening arm has an elastic arm, and a lateral flange is formed on one end of the elastic arm, and extends into the base to be buckled. The fastener member further includes an elastic auxiliary arm formed between the elastic arm and the body, so as to increase an elastic strength of the elastic fastening arm.

Abstract: The present invention provides a shipping container, a paper tube, an end cap and a method. The shipping container includes a tube and an end cap. The tube has a cylindrical body and an open end. The cylindrical body has a mounting opening formed therein adjacent to the open end. The end cap includes a circular sidewall that is adapted to be received by the open end of the tube such that the circular sidewall radially surrounds the cylindrical body. The circular sidewall includes a projection that extends away from the circular sidewall and into the mounting opening so as to releasably secure the end cap to the tube.

Abstract: A fastening structure of a clean container is combined on a cover of the clean container with a dismountable fastener member, such that the cover is closed or opened on a base of the clean container. The fastener member includes a body, a positioning portion, and an elastic fastening arm, that are one-piece formed. The positioning portion extends from one side of the body to form a flat spring. A flange is formed on the flat spring to fasten the fastener member on the cover. The elastic fastening arm has an elastic arm, and a lateral flange is formed on one end of the elastic arm, and extends into the base to be buckled. The fastener member further includes an elastic auxiliary arm formed between the elastic arm and the body, so as to increase an elastic strength of the elastic fastening arm.

Abstract: Polymeric containers that have a container body and a removable and replaceable lid configured for sealing engagement with the body. The sealing arrangement between the container body and the lids includes a discontinuity feature that provides a passage for fluid from the exterior of the container to the sealing arrangement, which reduces the forces needed to open (e.g., unseal) or vent the container. The containers are often thermoformed, and might be considered “disposable” containers.

Abstract: A container device with a tightly engaged cover comprises a container; each of at least two lateral walls having a buckling recess; a cover; each of at least two sides of the cover being formed with downward buckling plate; an inner side of each buckling plate having at least one buckle; an upper side of one end of the buckle having a buckling block. When the cover covers upon the container, the buckling plates of the cover will be expanded so that the cover covers the container. The buckles of the buckling plates of the cover will align to and enter into the buckling recesses of the container so that the buckles move downwards through a length; and thus the buckling blocks of the buckles will engage in the buckling recesses of the container; and the container is engaged with the cover by horizontal insertion and buckling effect.

Abstract: A closure/retainer for the end of a tubular hollow having a plurality of engagement surfaces such as windows formed about the inner periphery. The closure/retainer has a plurality of locking fingers disposed thereabout, with the number, width and spacing of the fingers such that each window is engaged by at least one locking finger for any random rotary orientation of the closure/retainer. The closure/retainer is particularly suitable for automated axial assembly as for example in a fuel tank vapor vent valve for retaining the float in the tubular valve body.

Abstract: A fixing structure for fixing a case main body with a lid includes fitting portions provided for the case main body and the lid respectively. One of the fitting portions includes a fitting bore having an engagement bore to be engaged by the other of the fitting portions and a bore extending from a fitting direction terminal part of the engagement bore in a fitting direction. The other of the fitting portions includes a fitting projection portion having an engaging projection portion provided at a position corresponding to the engagement bore and a guide projection portion provided at a position corresponding to the bore. The guide projection portion has a fitting guide portion, the height of which decreases from engaging projection portion side thereof toward an end part of the guide projection portion.

Abstract: An end cap for a corrugated conduit, attachable to the open end of conduit preferrably corrugated conduit. The end cap has a cylindrical skirt portion and an end piece, a plurality of inwardly-directed latching tabs spaced around the cylindrical skirt portion and which are springingly deflectable in a radially outward direction when the latching tabs are forceably urged over the corrugated conduit open end. The latching tabs spring inwardly when the diameter of the corrugated conduit decreases, thereby latching the end cap over the open end. The end cap may further have an arcuate configuration for the end piece where the cylindrical skirt portion has an inside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the corrugated conduit. The end piece may also have an axially-directed aperture with a center not centered on the axis of the corrugated conduit.

Abstract: A box and cover combination comprises a box and a cover. The box includes an opening, and a hole is defined in each of two opposed sides defining the opening of the box. The cover includes a peripheral edge in an underside thereof. The peripheral edge includes two opposed engaging portions each having an engaging face. An engaging hole is defined in each engaging face. Two positioning plates each have an end pivotally connected to an associated one of the engaging portions and include an engaging member. When the cover is attached to the box, each engaging face of the cover is located in the opening of the box, and each positioning plate is located outside the box. The engaging member of each positioning plate is extendible through an associated hole of the box into the engaging hole of an associated engaging face.

Abstract: A transportation container comprises: a container body for housing a plurality of semiconductor wafers; a detachable lid adapted to engage in and cover an open front face of the container body via a seal gasket; and a locking mechanism adapted to fix the lid engaged into the open front face of the container body. The locking mechanism has a pair of protrusions formed at the opposing sides of a rim of the open end face of the container body. The locking mechanism also has a pair of clamp plates which are pivotally supported on the opposing sides of the lid to clamp the protrusions. Each protrusion has, on the back thereof, a groove with a semi-circular cross-section to be clamped. Each clamp plate has attachment shafts for the lid formed in one end of the clamp plate. The clamp plate also has operated parts for automatized operation formed in the other end of the clamp plate. The operated part has a Y-shape in cross-section.

Abstract: A case locking arrangement mainly comprising two half casings whose apertures are provided opposite to each other, wherein a flange is disposed around the aperture rim of said half casing, at prearranged position of which a number of engaging seats are provided, and wherein at least one locating post upwards extended is provided on the bottom surface of said half casing, at the end of which a screw hole is disposed, and wherein said half casing has an engaging projection and a connecting seat corresponding to said engaging seat and said locating post, and wherein the connecting seat contains a fish eye hole therein.

Abstract: A cylindrical tool bit holder has a rotatably operable cylindrical cover for access to clip mounted tool chuck and tool bits disposed on the inside of the cover, and an integral clip affixed to the holder body for tool belt mounting of the holder, whereby the user with the holder belt mounted, rotatably removes the cover and inspects the array of tool bits and then in turn with the other hand removes the chuck for assembly to the hand tool or then removes a tool bit for assembly to the chuck. After removal of the chuck and tool bit, the cover is rotatably replaced on the cylindrical body of the holder and rotated no more than 120.degree. for locking engagement of the cover on the body. The cover is formed with equally spaced flexible tabs each having respective buttons for slidably engaging into holes on the body, for locking and unlocking the cover to the body. The cover is removed and replaced with the user using only one hand.

Abstract: A two-piece, connectable article comprises a first piece and a second piece which fit together in a connected position. One of the first and second pieces has a plurality of integral, extending members having free ends that each define a latch member. The other of the first and second pieces has a facing wall that defines a plurality of apertures positioned to receive the free ends of the extending members in the connected position. The apertures are sized to cause flexing of the latch members as the latch members are placed through the apertures to assume the connected position. The extending members and facing wall are proportioned to permit the latch members to spring back to an original position in the connected position, to effectively prevent separation of the first and second pieces until at least some of the extending members are broken away.

Abstract: A relay rack enclosure includes a top cover and bottom cover each of which has end walls which are detachably locked together. The locking structure includes a resiliently mounted cantilevered pawl having a locking tooth which is provided on one of the end walls for detachable engagement in a slot on the abutting end wall of the other cover. A panel is mounted to the covers by tabs in the covers fitting into slots in perpendicular extensions of the panel.

Abstract: A suction canister particularly suitable for the collection of waste fluids from a medical patient including an open-top receptacle and a lid adapted to close the open-top of the receptacle. The receptacle and lid are each readily and inexpensively moldable from plastic materials employing existing molding techniques and facilities. The outer rim of the open top of the receptacle and the peripheral margin of the lid are adapted to provide engagement of the lid with the rim of the receptacle, such engagement providing a positive and readily identifiable limit of the extent of the engagement that provides a certain sealing of the id with the receptacle rim, and resulting in an interlocking of the lid with the receptacle as prevents removal of the lid from the receptacle other than by destructive force applied to the lid and/or receptacle.

Abstract: Apparatus for securing a computer cover to a computer chassis. In a preferred embodiment, a computer cover and computer chassis include a latching mechanism with components attached to each. The cover includes a button and a stop located adjacent to the button. The chassis includes a leaf spring so that, when the cover is closed onto the chassis, the leaf spring engages with the stop, thereby securing the cover to the chassis. Likewise, whenever the button is being depressed, such as by a user, the button pushes the leaf spring away from the stop. As a result, the leaf spring is no longer engaged to the stop and the cover can be easily opened from the chassis.

Abstract: A tabless container closure for a compartmentalized container with a cover and a base. The cover includes a sidewall and a rim coupled thereto. The rim has a depression that fits within an opening in a sidewall of the base. The rim depression and opening provide a snap-fit closure to releasably connect the cover and base. In a second aspect, the compartments of the container are closed off from one another such that the contents of a given compartment substantially remain therein, even after a perturbation of the container. In a third aspect, a divider separating the compartments is bowed to enhance the structural integrity of the base.

Abstract: A container closure for a container with a cover and a base. The cover includes a sidewall and a rim coupled to the sidewall. The rim includes a depression that takes the place of a male closure component. The base includes a sidewall and an opening in the sidewall for receiving the rim depression. The rim depression and receiving opening provide a snap-fit closure to releasably connect the cover and base.

Abstract: Apparatus for securing a computer cover to a computer chassis is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, a computer cover and computer chassis include a latching mechanism with components attached to each. The cover includes a button and a stop located adjacent to the button. The chassis includes a leaf spring so that, when the cover is closed onto the chassis, the leaf spring engages with the stop, thereby securing the cover to the chassis. Likewise, whenever the button is being depressed, such as by a user, the button pushes the leaf spring away from the stop. As a result, the cover is no longer secured to the chassis and can be easily opened from the chassis.

Abstract: The container includes a sheet rolled or folded into a tube of a required cross-section and a bottom cap and top cap for the tube ends, each end cap defining an endless groove corresponding to the tube cross-section. At least one wall defining the groove of at least one of the end caps has projections at spaced locations, each shaped to provide a lead-in face and a rear retaining face. Abstract: An air bag cover holding structure comprises: a plate-shaped bag holder for fixing an air bag cover to a steering wheel, the plate-shaped bag holder having engaging claws which are respectively engaged with hook-shaped grooves formed on an inner peripheral wall at an open-side end of the air bag cover; a reinforcing plate fixed in a state of overlapping with the plate-shaped bag holder and having engaging portions, the engaging portions being respectively inserted in plate inserting holes which are formed at the open-side end of the air bag cover in directions crossing the hook-shaped grooves so as to hold the air bag cover together with the engaging claws; and a pull-out prevention reinforcing member provided in at least one of the engaging claws and the engaging portions to prevent the air bag cover from being pulled out from the plate-shaped bag holder and the reinforcing plate.

Abstract: A device for closing a cover onto a container, wherein the cover and the container each have a protruding flanged edge which come to lie against each other in the closing position and wherein a hook-shaped cam connected to the cover co-acts with a counter-cam connected to the container for the purpose of locking the cover onto the container, wherein both flanged edges have continuous slotted holes in a corresponding pattern, wherein a wedge-shaped hand-tool can be placed into two mutually registering holes in the flanged edges to turn the cover in relation to the container, such that the hook-shaped cam connected to the cover comes into engagement with the counter-cam, whereby with a simple tool all locks are placed simultaneously in or out of engagement during closing or release of the cover.
