The lid is configured for locking engagement with the container such that accidental or unintentional removal of the lid from the container is resisted. The lid includes an outer skirt that overlies the outer surface of the container about an upper rim. The outer skirt includes a plurality of lid locking members that are disposed at spaced apart intervals about the outer periphery of the skirt and extend inwardly, relative to the outer skirt, for engaging an outwardly extending container lip. Disposition of the lid on the container is with effect that the plurality of lid locking members deflect outwardly as the lid is displaced downwardly over the container lip, the lid locking members returning to their inwardly disposed position once clear of the lip. The inward disposition of the lid locking members effects a robust engagement between the container and lid.

Two symmetric tabs are provided at an upper opening of an inner cup, the tabs each are provided with a tab clamping portion, accommodation regions recessed inward in a radial direction and shaped as a notch are symmetrically formed on an external thread of the outer jar, and an outer jar clamping portion is respectively provided at the accommodation regions. When the tabs are bent downward, the tab clamping portion can be clamped in the outer jar clamping portion to connect the inner cup into the outer jar. After materials in the original inner cup is used up, the empty inner cup can be taken out by releasing the connection between the tab clamping portion and the outer jar clamping portion, and a replacement inner cup is placed and fastened in the outer jar.

The securing member includes at least one tab and a frame disposed at the flange portion. The tab extends from the top or bottom of the frame and covers the notch. Also disclosed herein is a container and lid assembly that includes a container and an above-described injection molded lid.

The pit includes holes extending outwardly in the wall of the pit, preferably these holes are located at one end of the pit. Abstract: Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

Abstract: The dish is formed by pressing a palm leaf to form a generally concave dish with a floor surrounded by sides extending to an upper edge. A rim extends laterally from this upper edge, formed as a unit with the floor and sides of the dish. A lid is provided which has a top surface with side walls extending down to a perimeter latch. This perimeter latch engages the dish, such as by snapping onto the rim. In one embodiment the perimeter latch extends downwardly from other portions of the lid and has at least one indentation which extends inwardly thereon to provide an upper recess above the indentation which is sized to receive a tip of the rim. A height of the upper recess is oversized relative to a thickness of the tip of the rim to accommodate some variation in dish thickness and some degree of dish warping.

A sealing member may be sealed to the top surface and may include a one-way valve permitting venting of CO2 resulting from off-gassing of the roast and ground coffee while preventing ingress of air. A removable overcap comprising a top wall and a depending skirt may be affixed to the finish. The skirt may include an inner surface with at least one locking member dimensioned to engage the snap beads in an interference fit. The packaged roast and ground coffee is preferably capable of withstanding stacking loads and loads associated with decreased interior pressure.

A cross sectional area of the concentrator decreases in a direction from a base to an upper end of the concentrator, creating a concentration of beverage aromas in the space surrounding a user's nose. The concentrator channels a concentrated amount of aroma to the nose, providing an enhanced drinking and tasting experience.

Abstract: A dispensing assembly includes a cartridge for containing a fluid and a mixer for mixing and dispensing the fluid. The cartridge includes a locking flange or wall and the mixer includes a locking latch configured to snap into and out of engagement with the locking flange. To this end, the mixer and the cartridge are coupled and uncoupled by a snap-on and snap-off engagement that does not require relative rotation of the mixer and the cartridge. The locking latch also includes a latch release mechanism such as a squeeze handle, a peel handle, or a locking ring for forcing the locking latch into and out of engagement with the locking flange. As a result, the connection of the mixer and the cartridge is a quick and easy process and cross contamination of fluids in multiple fluid cartridges is avoided.

In one form, the gripping portion of the base member has a plurality of edges that define an outer profile of the gripping portion and expose a portion of a lower surface of the tab. The outer profile limits tacking of the tab to the gripping portion when the lid and base member are cut from respective webs of material. The lid may be moveable with respect to the base between a decoupled configuration and a coupled configuration. Further, the lower lip may engage the protrusions to retain the lid in the coupled configuration. A related method is also provided.

Damage to the annular score is also avoided even when ultrasonic welding is adopted for welding the container and the spout stopper together. Abstract: An all-plastic container comprising the combination of injection molded pail and lid. The lid initially locks onto the container at upper and lower undercuts and seals thereto by virtue of an inverted U-shaped peripheral section. A tear groove is formed in the lid skirt between the upper and lower locks to facilitate removal of the lower lock. The upper lock is segmented so as to make removal of the lid easier once the lower lock is removed. Indicia on the lid shows where the gaps in the lock segments are located. The lower lock may also be segmented to provide drainage for overfill which comes out of the pail when the lid is first applied. The lid and pail are dimensioned to provide a wedge seal between an unflanged pail rim and the top lock and to maintain a strong connection and seal even after the lower lock is removed.

Abstract: A closure system for a container includes a pair of primary anchors located opposite one another on an exterior surface of the neck. Each primary anchor has vertical and horizontal portions. A cap has an upper surface and a series of walls depending downwardly therefrom and at least first and second locking tabs extending downwardly from an underside of the cap. The locking tabs are located opposite one another, and there is at least one rib between the walls of the cap and the locking tabs. Each of the locking tabs has an inwardly extending anchor tab on an inside surface thereof the locking tab. Abstract: Two embodiments of a molded plastic container/closure combination are described. Each can be structured to provide a child resistant opening feature and, optionally, a tamper-evident feature. In both embodiments, the closure has radially extending bayonets arranged around an outer skirt, which bayonets can be rotated into a position underlying semi-annular ribs in a beam molded integrally with the sidewall of the container. Rotation of the closure in the unlocking direction is opposed by a structure which requires depression of a release tab downwardly. In one embodiment, depression of the release tab requires that a frangible element first be fractured and removed from the container sidewall. In the second embodiment, depressing the release tab is made possible by a living hinge formed on one side of the release tab.

The lid includes a top portion and an annular side plate which extends downwardly from periphery of the top portion. The plate is formed with a hole. An engagement plate is disposed on the side plate. A bottom edge of the engagement plate is connected to the plate. A top edge of the engagement plate stretches upwardly along the hole, so that the engagement plate is located in the hole. The plates are flexible. As such, the engagement plate can be pressed and bent inwardly when the lid covers a cup. The engagement plate would then engage with the rim flange of the cup so as to enhance engagement of the lid and the cup.

Abstract: The present invention can magnify a sealing characteristic and prevent deformation of hard rubber by coupling a container body with a rib formed on an external cap and through double-injection molding by an elastomer having a different elastic restoring force from the hard rubber charged and hardened in an injection concave groove of a support body that accommodates an internal container, in order to maximize product reliability by improving a sealing structure of a make-up base container or a cosmetic container and providing a clear air-tight effect since the sealing structure cannot be transformed even in case of long-term use.
