Abstract: Trash receptacles are rarely cleaned. These containers can contain germs and disease in them in many situations. This liquid dispensing device will spray a liquid of choice with in the interior of the trash receptacle automatically every time it is emptied and replaced onto the support surface. These liquids may drastically reduce the amount of bacteria, germs, insects, and disease with in the container. This device will provide this sanitation service automatically. This liquid dispensing device may be attached to industrial dumpsters as well as to residential trash containers. This device does not require a power supply.

Abstract: A powder dispenser for a waste disposal system includes a mounting portion that is adapted to be secured to a waste disposal unit, and a container defining an interior space in which a powder such as sodium bicarbonate may be stored. The container is releasably mounted to the underside of a hinged lid member of the waste disposal unit. A directional dispensing system is provided for dispensing powder from the container into a targeted portion of the waste disposal system. The directional dispensing system is constructed and arranged to concentrate initial dispersal of the powder to a single side of the container and includes a dispensing orifice. The dispensing orifice is preferably oriented to limit initial dispersal of the powder within a defined angular range with respect to the longitudinal axis of the lid member, and is spaced axially and laterally with respect to the waste disposal unit at distances that facilitate distribution of the powder to desired targeted portions of the waste disposal unit.

Abstract: A system for delivering deodorizer or repellent or both is intended for use with a household or commercial container including a cover. The system includes a first receptacle formed as a first housing shell surrounding a volume for holding a repellent or deodorizer, where openings allow part of the repellent or deodorizer to escape into the environment when the first receptacle is positioned on the outer cover surface and the cover is positioned on the container. A second receptacle formed as a second housing shell surrounding an inner volume for holding a repellent or deodorizer, where openings allow part of the repellent or deodorizer to escape into the inner container environment when the second receptacle is positioned on the inner cover surface and the cover is positioned on the container. A connector detachably connects the receptacles.

The dampers are provided at opposite ends of a pedal connected to the receptacle body at opposite lateral positions relative to a side of the receptacle body. The receptacle includes an air filtration device mounted in its lid which guides air through the filter device during the downward motion of the lid. The receptacle also includes at least one damper which provides dampening forces against the motion of the lid in both opening and closing directions. The receptacle also includes an anti-sliding device which increases the receptacle's resistance to sliding across a floor when a user steps on a pedal to actuate the lid.

Abstract: A waste container and method of deploying liners in the waste container generally including one or more container side walls; a container partition structure having a liner passing port and dividing the container into a container waste chamber and a container liner chamber; a sequential plurality of liners provided within the liner chamber in such a way that each liner is linked to the next so that when the first liner in the sequence is pulled through the liner passing port, the next sequential liner is ready to be pulled into the waste container for use; and a motion-activated spray canister that discharges an antiseptic or fragrant mist or spray into the waste container each time a new liner is deployed.

Abstract: An orienting skirt joined to an aerosol can, the orienting skirt having a generally arcuate rim extending outward such that when the can is placed on a flat surface, the rim urges the can into a predetermined generally stable horizontal configuration with the discharge nozzle oriented in an upright direction. A full release actuator is disposed adjacent to the valve stem of the aerosol can and has a trigger and a discharge nozzle such that when the trigger is pressed the contents of the aerosol can are dispensed through the discharge nozzle. With the discharge nozzle in an upright direction, the contents of the can are dispersed more evenly on the interior surfaces of the trash can.

Abstract: A waste container includes a top chamber, a base chamber, upper and lower lids, and a drive mechanism mechanically coupling the lower lid with the upper lid. The upper lid is disposed on the top chamber and moves between a closed position covering a first opening and an open position exposing the first opening. The lower lid is disposed on the base chamber and moves between a closed position covering a second opening and an open position exposing the second opening. The drive mechanism is actuated so as to move the lower lid to the open position when the upper lid moves to the closed position from the open position. The lower lid returns to the closed position when the upper lid is in the closed position.

Abstract: The Trash Can Fogger is a deodorizer and disinfectant that infuses a refuse container with a refreshing, sanitary substance when impacted on the inner surface of the unit. This product is packaged in a pressurized metal canister, which releases a measured portion of its contents in response to applied pressure. Abstract: An apparatus for securing a trash bag in a container is disclosed, where the apparatus has a removable and replaceable scented bag retaining element which extends outwardly from the main body of the apparatus. The main body has a pair of spaced channel arms that receive, guide and support the retaining element in proper position against the main body, and the replaceable scented retaining element has a releasable locking tab which is received by and locks within a slot in the main body of the apparatus. A central membrane of the retaining element has a number of slits that form a number of flexible flaps which deform when pressed to received and retain the trash bag. The main body is adhesively mountable to the outer surface of the container.

Abstract: A trash can with a deodorizing mechanism comprises a body having an opening formed at the top of the body, a lid pivotally coupled to the top of the body for performing an opening or closing movement, and a deodorizing mechanism installed on the body and including a bottle and a nozzle. The nozzle includes an actuating element propped by an elastic body to provide a restoring elasticity, such that if the lid is closed and covered onto the opening, the actuating element will be pressed by the lid to compress the elastic body, and the nozzle will suck a deodorant stored in the bottle and spray the deodorant towards the interior of the body. If the lid is closed and covered onto the opening, the elastic body will be compressed to slow down the closing movement of the lid.

Abstract: An animal resistant insert for a trash container is disclosed. The insert comprises a platform portion bounded by an edge and a flange portion extending from the edge of the platform portion at an angle. The insert further comprises at least one handle extending from the platform portion. The insert may also comprise a rim of resilient material attached to the terminal circumference of the flange portion and at least one ventilation hole disposed on the platform portion.
