Abstract: A stuffing-batching machine wherein the bottom of the blades pump chamber for stuffing comprises a detachable discoid plate having a recess in the top to pilot and guide the sliding blades eccentrically with respect to the chamber wall, the plate when assembled resting on an annular seat and locked in a determined angular position with respect to the chamber wall. A set of plates with different plotting of the pilot recess is provided, each plate providing a different degree of compression for the material treated. The propeller of the hopper feeding the product to be treated, is linked by a mechanical device interlocked with an annular part, associated in turn, through a ripid switch assembly, with the hopper lower section, where it remains locked by the arrangement of the propeller and is free once it is disconnected so that it can be pulled out.
Abstract: A measuring-and-dispensing apparatus adapted to be removably secured to a jaw having powdered or granulated material disposed therein, whereby the material can be dispensed in a predetermined, measured quantity, the materials generally being, for example, instant coffee, tea, sugar, etc., the cap comprising a housing having a rotor arranged therein, including an adjustable measuring compartment to receive the materials therein, the rotor being rotatably mounted in the cap housing and said rotor having a selector device and an operating handle attached thereto, whereby the compartment can be moved from a filling position to a dispensing position.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for casting of metals into a continuous casting mold wherein metal is cast out of a ladle into a tundish having at least one non-regulatable bottom discharge and into at least one mold by means of a pouring tube. After the start of the casting operation the casting jet emanating from the bottom discharge is controlled and, if desired, corrected to the desired casting jet formation and thereafter the pouring tube is brought into the casting position through the casting jet.
