Abstract: The present application relates to a system for dispensing fluid. The system includes a flexible container including a spout that is in fluid communication with an interior region of the container. The system includes a cap configured to be mounted to the spout. The cap includes an opening that leads to a membrane and a first retention mechanism located in the opening. The system includes a piercing tube having a first end configured to puncture the membrane and a second end configured to be connected to a dispensing tube. The piercing tube includes a seal bead and a second retention mechanism. The piercing tube is inserted into the opening of the cap such that the first end punctures the membrane, the first and second retention mechanisms engage each other to retain the piercing tube in the cap, and the seal bead sealingly engages the cap.

Abstract: A removable spout seal and pour spout assembly is presented. The removeable spout seal generally comprises a cylindrical attachment member attached to a flange with a channel extending distally perpendicular therefrom. The removeable spout seal is coupled to a pour spout to form the pour spout assembly. In use, the removeable spout seal attaches to the connection member of a pour spout to provide a seal that prevents leaking of liquids from a vessel. The vent tube of the pour spout is inserted into the channel of the spout seal apparatus and the cylindrical attachment member of the spout seal is inserted into the connection member of the pour spout to form a leakproof seal. Use of the spout seal allows shipping a vessel with the pour spout in place thus preventing leaking during shipping; prevents contamination of contents; preserves freshness of contents; and prevents accidental spills and leaking.

Abstract: A system for treating multiple tissue sites of a patient includes a first dressing filler adapted to be positioned at a first of the tissue sites. A second dressing filler is adapted to be positioned at a second of the tissue sites. A bridge manifold is positioned between the first tissue site and the second tissue site to provide fluid communication between the first and the second tissue site. A reduced pressure source is fluidly connected to at least one of the bridge manifold, the first tissue site, and the second tissue site. A valve is operably associated with one of the first and the second tissue sites to allow fluid to flow from the one of the first and the second tissue sites, but precluding flow towards the one of the first and the second tissue sites.

Abstract: An inflatable landing pad has an air mattress capable of sustaining an air pressure, and an air supply tube for supplying air from an inflatable play structure to the air mattress. The air mattress is separated into a plurality of sections by vented baffles. A proximal end of the air supply tube is sealably attached to the air mattress around an aperture for directing air into the air mattress, and the distal end of the air supply tube includes a coupling for connecting to an air supply port of the inflatable play structures. The air mattress is adapted to be positioned adjacent an exit portion of an inflatable play structure.

Abstract: A container assembly having a container, a lid having a spout, and a partition to separate the container into multiple subcompartments. The partition has a flexible edge which is in contact with an inner surface of the lid. When the lid rotates about the container, the flexible edge is biased against the lid and is capable of being deformed.

Abstract: A bottle aerator of the type having a venturi tube having a constricted section with a narrower cross-sectional section and a fluid inlet section having a wider cross-sectional section, such that the fluid pressure is lower in the constricted section compared to the pressure in the fluid inlet section, and the fluid speed is higher in the constricted section compared to the fluid speed in the fluid inlet section, which is improved by the constricted section being constructed and arranged so that when the bottle aerator is inserted into a bottle, the constricted section is positioned inside the bottle. The air inlet is provided at or below the constricted section, which allows air from outside the bottle to mix with the fluid as it passes through the constricted section, so that the fluid is aerated while still inside the bottle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to improvements in the dispensing of foodstuffs from piping bags. The use of piping bags to dispense decorative materials, such as icing, on to surfaces is well known and has been in use for many years. When used in conjunction with a nozzle, such piping bags allow for the dispensing of decorative materials to create messages or patterns. The nozzle can have a variety different shapes and sizes which allow for the ribbon of decorative material to have the desired appearance when expelled from the bag. Existing piping bags are limited in that they typically only have a single compartment in which the decorative material can be placed. The present invention seeks to provide a piping bag and nozzle assembly which allows for the simultaneous and controllable dispensing of two or more decorative materials on to surfaces to create messages or patterns.

The closure (20, 20A) includes the following: (A) a closure body (30, 30A) defining (i) at least one pour aperture (50) that can communicate with the container opening and that can accommodate pouring out of the contents through the pour aperture (50), and (ii) at least one vent aperture (60) that can. communicate with the container opening and that can accommodate the in-venting of ambient atmosphere through the vent aperture into the container; and (B) a lid (32, 32A) for closing the closure (20, 20A). The pour aperture (50) has a curved configuration extending laterally on each side of a central axis line (A) that bisects the closure body (30), and the vent aperture (60) is further defined by a downwardly extending vent tube.

Abstract: A dispensing adaptor is disclosed for tubes of high viscosity compositions. The adaptor includes an adaptor body, the interior of which defines a tube tip receiving opening having a size and shape corresponding to the tip of a tube of high viscosity composition, an adapter tip on the adaptor body through which the tip receiving opening continues, a custom tip for the adapter tip that fits on the adapter tip, and at least two sets of custom tip attachments on the adapter body.

Abstract: A fluid dispense head is removably joined to a bottle, such as a wine bottle, or similar container, by having a hollow cylinder extend into the bottle and on one end sealed to a neck of the bottle with an annular gasket and on an opposite end joined to the dispense head. A nut on opposite end of the hollow cylinder limits entry of the cylinder into the bottle. When the nut is turned relative to the cylinder, the gasket seal is broken and the dispense head can be removed from the bottle. A set of annular gaskets of different diameters may be provided for bottles of different neck sizes.

Abstract: A nozzle assembly for dispensing viscous material is disclosed. The nozzle assembly is convertible from use with a device for dispensing bulk viscous material to use with a device for dispensing viscous material from a cartridge. Alternatively, the nozzle assembly is convertible from use with a device for dispensing viscous material from a sausage package to use with a device for dispensing from a cartridge. When dispensing viscous material from a cartridge, the base portion is arranged for receiving the cartridge conical tip and the flange is arranged for placement between an end plate of the dispenser and the cartridge to retain said nozzle within said dispenser for dispensing viscous material from the cartridge. When dispensing viscous material in bulk form or from a sausage package, a locking plate is provided for tightly retaining the nozzle to the end cap of the dispensing device.

Abstract: A pouring dispenser for pouring liquid from a bottle comprises a sleeve adapted to be removably attached with the neck of the bottle and extend from the neck of the bottle. The sleeve comprises a cork portion to be inserted into the neck of the bottle. A pouring nozzle with the sleeve is formed with the cork portion as an integral component, such that the pouring nozzle is in fluid communication with the interior of the bottle. There is a removable breather tube that fits in the cork portion.

Abstract: A connector for a self sealing fitment that includes a body, a lower flange, and a locking mechanism. The connector is configured to sealingly engage with a cap coupled to a spout of a flexible bag by sealingly engaging with a sealing membrane of the cap. The locking mechanism facilitates the maintaining of the same in the inserted configuration. A lockout collar is provided to preclude inadvertent and undesirable coupling between a connector and a sealing membrane of a cap.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a pouring device for a container for the dosing of liquid. The pouring device has various features intended to ease use, including an improved removal and attachment system and a system to identify and visually illustrate selected pour sizes. In a specific embodiment, the pouring device has a colored light or LED indicator system that allows the user to quickly and easily confirm the selected pour size. Embodiments may also include one or more features that ease attachment and removal of the pouring device to a liquid container, such as a replaceable cork system.

Abstract: Devices and systems for facilitating a user's grip around the neck of a bottle such that the contents of the bottle may be poured quickly and efficiently, with minimal stress on the use's body. Furthermore, such systems and methods may be configured to extend the neck of a bottle such that an attached pour spout is positioned at a desired height. Such a device may comprise a body to couple with the neck of the bottle, the body having an exterior surface configured to facilitate a secure grip therearound.

Abstract: A drywall feed pump system supplies drywall joint compound to a fill port assembly that allows for the connection of tools with various couplings, such as continuous flow pump tools and conventional automated hand tools. The assembly includes a feed hose, a mounting plate, a coupling plate, and a quick-connect adapter. An inlet of the feed hose connects to the feed pump system to supply the assembly with joint compound. The mounting plate provides a location for the outlet of the feed hose and accessory couplings to attach. The coupling plate facilitates the attachment to the drywall feed pump system. The quick-connect adapter extends from the mounting plate and facilitates the connection of various accessory couplings.

Abstract: There is provided a liquid dispensing fitment for fitting to a dispensing tap for appropriately directing a flow of liquid from the dispensing tap. The dispensing fitment comprises a flexible tube, a non-elastic adjustment element operatively coupled to the flexible tube to place the flexible tube in a curved position. A locking element holds the non-elastic adjustment element in a position such that the flexible tube is held in a curved position in which liquid is dispensed from an end portion of the flexible tube in a required direction. The length of the non-elastic adjustment element can be varied by locking a required length of the non-elastic adjustment element relative to the flexible tube in order to vary the angle of curvature of the flexible tube.

Abstract: A fluid dispense tip includes a bevel at an opening to reduce the amount of surface tension, or “land”, at the opening. The bevel is formed by grinding in a longitudinal direction such that any tooling scars resulting from the grinding operation are likewise longitudinally oriented, further reducing the amount of surface tension in the tip, thereby leading to heightened dispensing accuracy. The tip may be machined from stock as a unitary piece, to increase its lifetime, and may be formed with a bore of a relatively large diameter that is tapered down to a smaller diameter near the tip opening, to allow for delivery of fluid through the tip body at a decreased pressure. The tip may optionally be formed with a Luer™-style fitting on the body, such that the tip is compatible with pumps that utilize such a fitting.

A fitment attachment member is formed separately from the body and is secured to the inside surface of the sidewall, adjacent the open end of the body. The attachment member has a linear dimension, with linear end portions of the member positioned adjacent one another in forming a ring within the tubular body. A fitment is provided having a fitment retainer pattern formed thereon. A corresponding retainer pattern is formed on the attachment member, with the retainer patterns cooperating for securing the fitment to the body.

A reciprocating driver is attached to the bag-engaging member and is adapted for moving the bag-engaging member between a retracted position out of engagement with the lower end of the bag and an extended bag engaging position for engaging and holding the bag spout in a closed position against the side of the bag during release of the spout against the side of the bag.

Abstract: A drink through spout cap system including a drink through spout cap and a coupler. The inner wall of the base housing can be substantially smooth and does not engage threads of a beverage bottle after the beverage bottle is received within the base housing. The inner wall of the base housing can be lined with a flexible material to enable the base housing to engage with the threads of a beverage bottle to conform to the bottle threads facilitating additional grip and seal. Accordingly, an appropriately sized cap can be used with a selected size of a common beverage bottle, regardless of the threads of beverage bottle. The coupler is received in the beverage bottle for coupling the beverage bottle to the base housing of the cap. The coupler includes an aperture therein for allowing a beverage in the beverage bottle to flow through the aperture to the spout.

The nozzle has an inlet end and an outlet end. First and second connecting elements are located at the inlet end of the nozzle. Another mating pair of connecting elements, i.e., third and fourth connecting elements, of the container respectively communicate with the first and second chambers. The first and second connecting elements are respectively capable of being removable coupled to the third and fourth connecting elements to establish fluid paths from the first and second chambers into the inlet end of the nozzle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to tools for finishing drywall. More specifically, the present invention is a system for use in dispensing drywall joint compound from a container. The system comprises a base member that is semi-permanently securable to a manual joint compound pump and a plurality of attachments that are removably securable to the base member to provide various manners of dispensing joint compound. One end of the base member is constructed to function as a first portion of a quick connector. Each of the plurality of attachments is provided with a second portion of the quick connector. The cooperation between the first and second portions of the quick connector allow a technician to quickly change tools by hand to those that better suit his needs for improved efficiency.

The squeezing mechanism part is installed at the tip end of the device, and the drive mechanism part includes a slide bar disposed parallel to the sliding direction of the squeezing mechanism part.

Using this product may eliminate the need for using pumps, or for welding or cutting tees into pipes, in order to effectively drain large containers. The spout includes a first section proximal to the vessel that is angled with respect to the first elongated side of the vessel, and a distal end of the spout angled from the first section to be perpendicular to the first elongated side of the vessel. Abstract: A dispensing guide for seasoning such as herbs and spices takes the form of a dispensing chute defined by a broad and elongate tongue, the sides of which curl in an arc. The tongue has two resilient arms extending from a base portion of the chute which, together with the curved sides of the tongue, form a semi-circular ring that fits around and secures to a dispensing end of a seasoning dispenser in use. The guide in use prevents steam, moisture or heat from entering the dispensing end of the seasoning dispenser.
