Abstract: A neck hole of a dispense tip is formed through a length of a body from an input end to an output end. An inlet hole is formed at a distal end of the neck hole, the inlet hole having a first inner diameter. An outlet hole is formed at a distal end of the inlet hole, the outlet hole having a second inner diameter less than the first. A first inner taper transitions the inlet hole from the first inner diameter to the second inner diameter. An outer taper is formed having a width that decreases along a longitudinal axis of the length of the neck hole at a distalmost end. The width of the outer taper is reduced at the distalmost end at the output end of the body of material from a first outer width to a second outer width less than the first outer width.

The lid has a flange with a first rim projecting downwardly therefrom. The first rim has an edge engaging section with a plurality of concentrically positioned snap rings that each have a concavely shaped contact surface facing outward from the first rim to engage a curved surface on the rolled inside edge. The first rim is tapered inwardly such that the lower snap rings have a smaller diameter than the upper snap rings to allow the container to select which snap ring provides the best fit for snap engagement with the curved surface. The snap rings are made out of a material that deforms to the shape of the curved surface. A second rim projecting downward from the flange outwardly of the first rim provides a dust shield.

Abstract: A dispensing pouch assembly includes a pouch defining an volume and forming a circular opening into the volume, the circular opening having a wall and an inwardly protruding retaining lip thereon with sealing faces on the bottom and top surfaces thereof. A nozzle assembly removably engaged with the pouch includes a nozzle having a port extending from a top to a bottom end. A radial flange extends from the bottom end and includes a peripheral portion engaging the bottom surface of the retaining lip. A gasket encircles the nozzle with a peripheral portion of the lower face thereof engaging the top surface of the retaining lip. A retaining collar engaged with the nozzle urges the gasket and the radial flange, respectively, against the retaining lip sealing faces in a fluid-tight fit, permitting exit of flowable contents in the volume only through the port. Optionally, a cap fits on the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 8261787
Abstract: A system for transferring a viscous liquid between bottles that comprises a first bottle from which liquid is to be drained, a second bottle for receiving the liquid, a first bottle connector that attaches to the first bottle and a second bottle connector that attaches to the second bottle. Each bottle connector has a bottle engaging section that engages the bottle and a connection section that engages the connection section on an opposing bottle connector. Each connection section is genderless and comprises a plurality of outwardly extending members and a member receiving section between each adjacent members. When used to drain fluids from one bottle to another, an outwardly extending member of one connector is received in a member receiving section of the other connector to place the outwardly extending members in interlocking relation. The connection section can comprise a locking mechanism to lockingly join the two connectors together.

  • Patent number: 8261945
Abstract: A soap dispenser has a base and a cover attached to the base by two sets of hinges. A container of soap is housed between the cover and the base and is attached to a liquid or foam dispensing pump. The pump is housed within a mounting device which surrounds the pump and has several diameters and at least one shoulder. In at least one embodiment, the mounting device has a flexible arm that biases the cover to a non-actuated position. The portion of the mounting device farthest from the pump's dispensing orifice and located closest to the soap container is flat in at least one embodiment on two opposite surfaces, which assists in orienting the pump correctly. As the portion is not circular, it must be oriented correctly. In at least one embodiment, as the cover is depressed, the pump actuates to dispense foam or soap.

Abstract: A beverage release cap over a bottle cap of a plastic carbonated beverage bottle for dispensing a beverage, without losing gasses inside the bottle, when the bottle is inverted or partially inverted for pouring. The beverage release cap has three distinct functional and physical sections. A lower section engaging a bottle rim below the bottle cap and snapping over the bottle rim, thereby retaining the beverage release cap to the bottle while providing a seal and permitting a twisting rotation of the beverage release cap. A middle section gripping the bottle cap with vertical, equally spaced ribs, a space between the ribs allowing beverage to flow between the bottle cap and the beverage release cap. An upper section providing a path for the beverage to flow from the middle section. The beverage release cap may alternatively be a replacement to the standard bottle cap.

Abstract: In a liquid dispensing system having a dispensing module and a gun manifold, the gun manifold includes a shelf portion that extends outwardly from its front face and the dispensing module includes a correspondingly shaped aperture configured to engage the shelf portion so that the dispensing module rests, or hangs, on the gun manifold without being held into place. From this position, the module can be easily and readily attached to the manifold. The shelf and aperture have complementary shapes and can be keyed so as to require the mating of the manifold and module in only one orientation. Abstract: A combination rinse pitcher, particularly for rinsing shampoo from the head of a child during “bath time.” A main container body is made of relatively rigid material, and has a bottom and a plurality of main body sidewalls. A lip element is attached to the main container body and defines a rim of the rinse pitcher. The lip element is made of a relatively soft material which is sufficiently flexible such that at least a first portion of the rim can conform to the shape of the child's forehead.
