Abstract: A fluid dispenser includes a housing, a pump, an outlet nozzle, a reservoir, a liquid passage, an air passage, and a refill container. The pump and reservoir are attached to the housing, and both the outlet nozzle and the reservoir are in fluid communication with the pump. The reservoir has at least one engagement member, and the liquid passage and the air passage are located in the engagement member. The refill container has at least one sealing member, and the refill container is configured to be releasably attached to the reservoir such that the refill container is in fluid communication with the reservoir. When the refill container is attached to the reservoir, the engagement member engages the sealing member to cause the liquid passage and the air passage to be in fluid communication with the refill container.

Abstract: A device for batch-wise processing of spray cans includes a first chamber for batch-wise separation of spray cans into solid parts, liquid and gas by separating means, feed means for feeding the spray cans into the first chamber, and first discharge means for discharging the solid parts from the first chamber. A wall of the first chamber is provided with a plurality of passages for allowing passage of the liquid and the gas but unsuitable for allowing passage of the solid parts, a second chamber surrounds the first chamber or at least the portion of the wall provided with the passages. The device further includes second discharge means for discharging the gas from the second chamber, and third discharge means for discharging the liquid from the second chamber. A method for batch-wise processing of spray cans using the aforementioned device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a new and innovative container system for mixing and dispensing a solution, such as a cleaning solution, that includes a container, dispenser, and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a reservoir containing a concentrated solution and a snap portion that closes the reservoir. The dispenser includes a sleeve that engages with the snap portion as part of a cartridge release mechanism to release the cartridge's concentrated solution into the container. As the dispenser's cap is tightened to the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced downwards to engage the cartridge's snap portion and force the snap portion to disengage from the cartridge. The reservoir is therefore opened and its contents exit into the container's interior. As the dispenser's cap is disengaged from the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced upwards, bringing the snap portion back to the cartridge and closing the reservoir.

Abstract: A dispensing cap sealingly mountable within the throat of a beverage container has an open-bottomed flow tube connected to a surrounding skirt by a resilient diaphragm, forming a reservoir surrounding the flow tube. A membrane attached to the periphery of the skirt seals off the bottom of the reservoir. The lower end of the flow tube extends into the reservoir and is adapted for piercing the membrane. A downward force applied to the flow tube will resiliently deform the diaphragm, causing the lower end of the flow tube to pierce the membrane, thus allowing the contents of the reservoir to flow into the container. The brush applicator is movable toward the membrane to puncture the membrane and cause the hair coloring chemicals to be mixed together. In another embodiment, the device contains two or more hair coloring chemicals, at least one in at least one receptacle within the device. The device further comprises a cutting member in the form of a cursor, pull-member, rotatable element, or push-member to cut open the receptacle(s) within the device to release and thereby mix the hair coloring chemicals. The device can include an applicator removably attached to the housing to apply the mixed hair coloring chemicals.

The system may then be agitated by hand or in a mechanical agitator, such as a commercial paint shaker, until a desired color is attained. The sealant thickener may then be added and mixed by similar agitation of the system to obtain a non-sag, high viscosity sealant. Embodiments of the cartridge case are provided for use with various mechanical agitators and dispensing cartridges.

The locking device enables the mixing surface to alternate between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, the mixing surface projects from the dispensing surface to promote mixing of the substance. In the retracted position, the mixing surface is retracted through the dispensing surface into the plunger body.

Abstract: An anti-bubbling and anti-contamination water dispenser of the kind used to dispense water from disposable bottles which have a threaded cap, including a hexahedral housing to support the disposable bottles, having on the upper wall a container; the container is communicated with a tap to dispense water disposed perpendicular to the front wall of the housing to support the disposable bottles; wherein the front wall of the support housing of the disposable bottles has a recess that allows a gap between the tap outlet and the projection of the front wall wherein a glass for beverages aligned with the outlet center of water from the tap can fit, wherein the upper container has an identical inner diameter and threading that the cap of the disposable bottle.

Abstract: An ice dispensing assembly that can provide whole, crushed, or shaved ice is described. Rotating blades are carried by a cylinder while locking blades are positioned on a shaft within the cylinder. The cylinder can rotate in different directions to provide whole ice or crushed ice. A control plate can be used to position a shaving blade so as to provide for shaved ice as well.

Abstract: A melted depilatory wax dispenser has a container with an opening that stores solid depilatory wax at room temperature. The container is opened, inverted and inserted into a vertically protruding heating element and the opening is placed upon and sealed to an adaptor ring. As the heating element heats the contents of the container, the wax melts and is dispensed through a mouth which leads to a piping system and a valve which in turn leads to a dispensing tube which allows the hot wax to be dispensed in a controlled and easy fashion.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a metering and mixing device for multi-component substances, such as multi-component adhesives, which includes at least two associated cartridge accommodating deices for accommodating replaceable cartridges having individual substance components, a discharging device for disclosing (e.g., simultaneously discharging) the substance components from the cartridges through component outlets by discharging pistons that plunge into the cartridge accommodating device or cartridges, and a mixing device, which is connected to the component outlets, mixes the discharged substance components, and outputs the substance components in the mixed state. At least one discharging piston can have a thread such that the discharging piston can be driven forward by the thread when the discharging piston is rotated relative to the cartridge accommodating device.

Abstract: A fluid cartridge for storing and dispensing first and second fluids includes a first tubular cartridge wall and a second tubular cartridge wall in side-by-side relation. First and second pistons are coupled for movement by a coupling portion and are respectively disposed within the first and second tubular cartridge walls to define first and second side-by-side fluid chambers. A fixed wall is disposed between the first and second fluid chambers. A force is applied to the first piston along the first central longitudinal axis of the first tubular cartridge wall and moves both the first and second pistons along and within the first and second fluid chambers as the coupling portion between the first and second pistons travels within an opening in the fixed wall. The opening may be a preformed slot or may be formed by a cutting element attached with the pistons as the pistons move during the dispensing operation.
