Abstract: Apparatuses are disclosed herein for holding and securing an item. In one embodiment the item holder includes at least one layer of material between two outer layers of material. The two outer layers are made of a different material than the material of the at least one layer of material. Portions of the two outer layers and the at least one layer are secured together to form an opened ended receptacle for receiving an item. A set of hook/loop fasteners are secured to the exterior of the receptacle. The item holder also includes a material loop adapted to receive the receptacle. The material loop includes an interior surface that includes a second set of hook/loop fasters adapted to contact the first set of hook/loop fasteners. Although not required, an insertion tool may be used for insertion of receptacle into the material loop.

Abstract: Holsters suitable for securely retaining an item, such as a handgun, to an individual that enables removal of the item with a single hand when the individual is in a sitting position. Such a holster includes at least first and second holster subcomponents that have at least first and second partial cavities, respectively. The first and second holster subcomponents are assemblable to align the first and second partial cavities to define a pocket that is configured so that the first and second holster subcomponents are interlocked together to define the holster when an item is placed in the pocket and the first and second holster subcomponents are simultaneously released from each other in response to the item being removed from the pocket.

Abstract: A holster system for receiving and releasably retaining a handgun with or without a reflex sight mounted thereon. The holster body comprises a pair of opposing side wall portions and an upper wall portion. The holster body may define a rear accessory sight opening for receiving the handgun with the reflex sight attached thereto. The holster system may include a first rear sight cover selectively and robustly coupleable to the holster body so as to cover the rear accessory sight opening when a handgun with conventional sights extending upwardly about ? of an inch or less mounted thereto is used in conjunction with the holster system. The holster system may also include a second rear sight cover selectively coupleable to the holster body so as to cover the sight opening when a handgun with a reflex sight mounted thereto is used in conjunction with the holster system.

Abstract: A device for storing a portable electronic system includes a main body having four body sections that are separated by fold lines that are positioned along a common edge. The first body section includes a pair of wing-shaped pockets extending outward therefrom and a user belt for securing the main body horizontally around a user. The second body section includes a storage strap for receiving and engaging a portable electronic system. When the main body is in the closed position, the third and fourth body sections are folded over the portable system, and the first and second body sections are secured together. The fourth body section includes a pair of retention straps for also receiving the portable electronic system and positioning the system at a playing position when the device is in the open position.

Abstract: A holster is configured to assist a user in concealing a firearm. The holster has a front panel, joined to a back panel. A short back strap is joined to the back panel. An elastic material is joined to the front panel. A trim seals three edges of the front panel and the back panel. A long strap is joined to the front panel. The long strap is fastened to the short back strap forming a loop. A belt is sewn over the top of the elastic of the front panel and configured to wrap around a human user.

Abstract: A detachable latching paint bucket sized to accommodate a volume of liquid may include a container body with a bottom and side walls extending upward from the bottom, defining an interior of the container body; a latching mechanism attached to one of the side walls; and a strap with a connector configured to removably engage with the latching mechanism, such that the container body is designed to swivel with respect to the strap, wherein the strap is configured to removably engage with a user.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to apparatuses, systems and methods for adjustably holding a device. For example, in one embodiment, an apparatus is provided that includes a male interlocking ring. The male interlocking ring includes a plurality of male interlocking members. The apparatus also includes a unitarily formed female interlocking plate. The unitarily formed female interlocking plate includes portions adapted to receive each of the plurality of male interlocking members. The unitarily formed female interlocking plate also includes a flexible release lever. The flexible release lever partially extends laterally in one of the portions that are adapted to receive each of the plurality of male interlocking members. Other embodiments relate to an ambidextrous holster sleeve, a holster and holster sleeve.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include a holster system comprising a first holster member configured to releasably hold a handgun, a second holster member configured to releasably hold an accessory such as a handgun magazine, knife, flashlight, or tourniquet and two or more semi-rigid connection members located between and connecting the first and second holster members, the connection members achieving an optimal balance between strength and flexibility and forming openings for providing ventilation.

Abstract: A firearm retention mechanism is provided for a holster. The device comprises first and second arms that each have a first end and a second end, outwardly extending retention elements and trigger guard stops, and a fastener which connects the first and second arms so that they define an open top, with the retention elements and trigger guard stops facing one another, the trigger guard stops located below the retention elements. The arms are connected to sides of the holster with the open top facing upwardly to receive a trigger guard of the firearm, which is then pressed between the retention elements.

The present disclosure describes a holster apparatus for holding one or more food preparation utensils capable of being worn by a person for use during food preparation. The holster configuration is capable of maintaining health standards required for a food preparation environment and may be patterned or configured to house various types of food preparation utensils. The holster of the present disclosure is capable of adjustment for individual fit and may include further holsters or receptacles for holding utensils.

The shroud may also be attached to and rotatable about a pivotable stanchion rod extending vertically from and being secured to the mounting bracket. The stanchion rod may also be adjustable in length.

Abstract: Purse carry is an option for carrying a handgun and providing effective concealment. A caveat to purse carry is that placement of a bolstered handgun in a purse makes it less accessible and can cost precious seconds to draw in a self-defense situation. Disclosed is a purse mount device that addresses and minimizes this problem and is capable of being used in various purses and is capable of being used with various handgun/holster combinations.

Abstract: A gun holster fastening system for supporting a handgun in a position proximate to the ribcage area of the wearer is provided. The gun holster fastening system including a holster case having a pistol receiving compartment, and a holster support band attached to the holster case. The holster support band is sized to extend around a wearer's ribcage. The system also includes holster support strut sized to span between the wearer's ribcage area and a wearer's trouser waistband area, such that the holster support strut has a proximate end adjacent to the holster case, a distal end, an internal face, and an external face. The holster support strut is configured to support the gun fastening system and prevent the holster case and holster support band from moving down a wearer's ribcage. The distal end has a plurality of belt cleats which extend from the external face of the holster support strut to define at least one belt channel.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a concealed firearm carrying device that is configured in such a manner as to alleviate the inherent disadvantages of other concealed carrying devices; it incorporates safety features that good practice dictates without interfering with practical use. The device is made in such a fashion so as to cover the firearm's upper assembly to help retain the shape of the holster and secure the firearm, and to cover the trigger and trigger guard thus reducing the possibility of an accidental discharge when drawing the firearm. The device is further configured to provide sufficient clearance for inserting the fingers of the drawing hand on the front side of the firearm's butt below the firearm's trigger guard. The quick releasing type of closure mechanism including magnetic closure further provides quick withdrawal of the firearm carried within the device and the device is adapted to receive firearms of various sizes.

Abstract: A lockable holster includes a shroud having an elongated opening to receive a handgun with the grip of the handgun outside the shroud. A biasing member at the first end of the shroud applies a biasing force on the firing end of the handgun to bias opposite end of the handgun into engagement with the locking arrangement at the opposite second end of the shroud to secure the handgun in the shroud. In another non-limiting embodiment of the invention, the holster is mounted on a plate having fasteners passing through elongated slits into the top of the shroud to angle the shroud relative to the plate, and the plate is mounted for vertical adjustment on a U-shaped securing clamp. The holster further includes mechanical arrangements which prevent unauthorized removal of the handgun from the shroud, prevents firing the handgun when in the shroud, and signals a loaded handgun in the shroud.

Abstract: A handgun holster comprising a shaped holster body with a cavity for inserting and withdrawing the gun, which is furnished with a belt loop for attaching the holster to the belt, with a trigger guard and with a security system against removal of the gun from the holster consisting of a restraining strap to go around the gun and a release lever for that strap, mutually connected at a control point by a snap connection.

Abstract: A holster for a concealable handgun has a front assembly, a rear assembly, and straps for securing the holster to a user's body. The front assembly and rear assembly are joined to each other to form a pocket, open at the top, to receive a handgun. Each of the front and rear assemblies is formed from a sandwich of flexible fabric folded in half to form a top edge, and joined to each other to form the pocket opening at the top. The rear assembly further includes a waterproof layer of fabric to act as a barrier preventing moisture from the user to affect the handgun. A strap is secured to each side of the open top edge and the straps adjustably secured to each other around the user. When the straps are secured, tension passes through the open top of the pocket forcing the top edges of the first and second assemblies closed and securing the handgun in the pocket.
