Abstract: Present systems and methods are directed to a ride system that includes a personal electronic device (PED) holding system for a ride vehicle. The PED holding system includes a lock that is configured to move from an unlocked configuration to a locked configuration to lock a PED of a passenger of the ride vehicle to the ride vehicle during a ride cycle. The PED holding system also includes a charging system that is configured to charge an energy storage component of the PED during the ride cycle.

In some cases, the grip loop, the anchor arm, and the rigid member are made of a single piece of elastic silicon material.

Abstract: An ukulele strap that works on ukuleles with or without strap buttons installed is disclosed. The apparatus bypasses the need for a strap button, adhesives, or hooks by cinching around the waist of the ukulele and provides full support so that a user can let go of your ukulele with both hands. It also has the option of being converted into a strap with will work with a strap button if a ukulele has that option.

A tool body strap defines a flattened closed loop that extends around a wall of the sleeve member and extends to a rearward end portion spaced apart from the sleeve member. A handle strap is connected to the rearward end portion of the tool body strap and has first and second handle strap portions that extend to respective first and second handle strap end portions each defining a closed loop. The first closed loop is sized to permit passage therethrough by the second handle strap end portion. An optional handle band is sized and constructed to be installed around the handle strap and hand grip of a pistol-grip hand tool.

Abstract: An expansion tank recovery apparatus for use in extracting a thermal expansion tank includes a container body having a closed bottom wall and an upstanding side wall that together define an interior area configured to selectively receive the expansion tank. A pair of support strap assemblies is coupled to sides of the side wall and extend upwardly. Upper ends include hook portions that are selectively coupled to an overhead fluid pipe to which a thermal expansion tank is coupled. The support assemblies are length adjustable such that the container body is selectively lowered from the hook portions when respective position adjustment mechanisms are actuated and the support assemblies are operatively lengthened. In one embodiment, the position adjustment mechanism is a ratchet strap. In use, the container body may be positioned beneath the expansion tank, the tank disconnected from the pipe, received into the container body, and lowered to the floor.

Abstract: A radio retention device designed to provide a secure attachment into the back of the majority of portable radios. A clip strap attaches through a belt loop that locks with a clip strap male buckle and a clip strap female buckle. The clip strap is attached to a radio strap which is then attached to a radio male buckle. The radio male buckle snaps into a radio clip which is secured to the back of a radio. A user of the radio retention device can attach the device to the radio and holster providing a secure attachment that will not interfere with the use of the radio. The device can also be embedded into a new holster (FIG. 4) by securing the radio strap directly to the inside of the holster. The security of the device will ensure that the lifeline of communication will not be removed from the professionals that use portable radio systems.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an adjustable strap apparatus and methods of instructing a patient to perform an exercise using the adjustable strap apparatus. An apparatus according to embodiments of the present invention includes a strap, a plurality of hook patches and a plurality of loop patches joined thereto. A hook patch and a loop patch of the present invention are removably engageable to form pull loops from ends of the apparatus and to form a pull belt between the pull loops. A therapist may instruct a patient to perform a mobilization exercise or a stretching exercise by forming pull loops about extremities of the patient and pulling on the apparatus without grasping to exert a stabilization force or resistance force upon a part of the body of the patient.

Abstract: A guitar strap including lasso-like connectors at either end, allowing the strap to be fastened to the guitar by placing the sliding loops over the guitar's strap-buttons and pulling tight. A pull-tab near the sliding eye on the sliding loops is used to pull the loop back open and disconnect the strap end from the guitar. An elastic ring incorporated into the pull-tab stretches over the button head and fastens onto the button to prevent the sliding eye from loosening open when there is no tension on the strap. Each connector is positioned in a sling formed by folding a length of the strap band. The strap band has soft loop material on its surfaces and a section of hook tape fixed to either end to facilitate adjustment of the overall strap length. The tape adheres to nearly any location along the top surface of the band, allowing the length of the strap to be adjusted quickly in large or small increments.

The first elastic fixation portion and the second elastic fixation portion are clamped at a position corresponding to the junction, so as to keep a relative distance between the first elastic fixation portion and the second elastic fixation portion smaller than an interval between two opposite ends of the groove. Additionally there are loop straps 12 members located and attached at each end of upper member carrier body strap and lower member carrier body strap. Alternatively there are VELCRO (hook&loop) fastener open loop straps with high friction adhesive inlay, making this skateboard carrier suitable to appropriate multiple dimensions of long boards, skate boards and deck boards. The essence of this present art; it is a skateboard carrier strap designed and styled to be worn like a fashionable belt, when not being used to appropriate a skateboard. The drop-leg extender secures additional equipment to the multifunctional utility belt attachment as a quick release mechanism of the drop-leg extender accepts the additional equipment. The quick release mechanism provides easy access to the attached equipment so that the users are able to carry the two-way radio and the additional equipment on his or her utility belt.

Abstract: A multifunctional strap system for portable electronic devices having a case and a strap on the back of the case. The case securely holds a protective electronic device while allowing access to all necessary features of the device. The strap securely couples a user's hand or other personal effects to the device. The strap may also be attached to a clip that removably attaches the strap to the bottom of the device. The detachable clip of the strap allows the strap system to loop around and be secured onto an object. The case may have an insert that can be used as a kickstand or a protective cover of a card held into place by the strap.

Abstract: A travel case for elongate items such as skis, golf clubs, snowboards, or the like comprises an elongate bag having a pair of hard sided end sections longitudinally spaced from a hard sided center section. Between each end section and the center section is a respective soft sided intermediate section. The hard sided end and center sections provide protection for the case contents at the vulnerable locations of those contents. The soft sided intermediate sections, made of collapsible and supple material, provide the advantage of reducing the weight of the overall case, and the suppleness permits the end sections to be folded in on the center section when the case is open along its length to educe the length and the required storage space for the case when not in use.

Abstract: A quick release device for preventing unintended withdrawal of a handgun from a holster comprises a generally U-shaped hood with mutually spaced legs spanned by a bridge. The legs are arranged to straddle the holster, with the hood being rotatable about a fixed first axis between a rearward position at which the bridge overlies the holster opening, and a forward position at which the bridge is removed from the holster opening. At least one interior side plate is fixed with respect to the holster at a location adjacent to one of the hood legs. The interior side plate defines a guide path bordered by and extending forwardly from a locking notch. A trigger plate is connected to the hood leg for rotation about a second axis parallel to the first axis. The trigger plate is rotatable about the second axis to disengage the boss from the locking notch, thereby freeing the boss for movement along the guide path as the hood is rotated about the first axis from its rearward position to its forward position.

Abstract: A paddle holder is provided for a watersport article. The paddle holder includes a clothing element, an anchor, and a lanyard. The clothing element is configured to be integrated into a watersport article along a lateral location of a user elevationally between a supra-patellar region and an abdominal region. The anchor is affixed to the clothing element. The lanyard has a retention device and an adapter. The adapter is configured to affix to the anchor on the clothing element. The retention device is configured to mate and demate with a handle of a paddle to retain the paddle to the clothing element. A method is also provided for retaining a paddle with a watersport article.

Abstract: A skateboard carrying strap is disclosed for holding a skateboard against a user's back, wherein the strap comprises two separable sections. Each section comprises a complimentary belt buckle end and a skateboard securement end. On each securement end are extendable elastic bands, are placed around the wheel trucks of a skateboard to support the skateboard. The user wears the assembly across his or her torso, crossing over the shoulder, while the skateboard deck lies against the individual's back with the wheel trucks facing away from the body and in connection with the elastic bands. The belt buckle end comprises a belt buckle or clasp engagement adapted to rest against the user's chest, while the disconnected securement ends of each section are adapted to secure each skateboard wheel truck. When the device is not in use, the strap lengths can be connected into a continuous section for use as traditional belt.

Abstract: A cup holder for beverage containers has a deployable tray movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The tray has an upper surface, a lower surface, and an aperture. A cup insert includes a cup ring, a cup bag, and a coil spring. The cup ring has an open collar for receiving a beverage container and has a seating flange configured to rest on the upper surface. The cup bag is made of flexible material having a generally cylindrical shape between an upper rim and a bag bottom. The upper rim is affixed to the open collar. A coil spring is coupled between the cup ring and the bottom end for urging them together for collapsing the cup bag. The coil spring is expandable under the weight of a beverage container placed on the bag bottom.

The stand is movable between a closed position, in which the plates lie against one another in a generally flat configuration, and an open position, in which the plates are disposed at an angle with respect to one another. A bracket extends in a generally normal direction from one of the plates to support a musical instrument when the stand is in the open position. A securement member secures the plates together in the closed position. Releasing the securement member allows the stand to move to the open position. The stand holds a musical instrument, such as a guitar, in an upright position when not in use.

Abstract: One design embodiment of a holder for a container comprising: one or more bands each capable of retaining a container inside the band(s), with straps attached to and extending away from the exterior of the band(s); with fasteners on the ends of each strap such that container within the band or bands are held in a stable position relative to a harness to be worn by a user. The design embodiment allows easy attachment, use and deployment of containers in a variety of environmental conditions and situational uses, including but not limited to the carrying of gas supplies for underwater divers.

Abstract: A multiple item carrying assembly with versatile straps that attaches to a variety of base items, allowing for easy carrying of multiple items. A middle portion and separate end portion of the straps wrap around a base item, such as a travel bag, and reeve through multiple slots located in buckles aligned along the straps. The straps further include a pair of end portions, which extend past the secured base item, and secure around an additional item. The extreme end portions pass through the buckles, and the buckles engage together, forming a secure attachment with the items. The buckles can be adjusted along the length of the straps to compensate for variably shaped and sized items. Loops form as the strap or straps reeves through slots in the buckle. The loops create additional holes for the item to attach to the carrying strap.

Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device such as cell phones, cameras, MP3 players and PDAs wherein said case includes material at the corners to provide protection to the electronic device. To reduce bulk at the corners and allow the material forming the case to conform with the contours of the device, the protection at the corners includes strips of material defining apertures there between. The apertures provide reduction in bulk and allow the case to conform to the corners of the device therein. Alternately, the protection at the corners can be provided by other structures co-molded into the corners of the cases. Such structures include material that is of a reduced thickness than other material used in the case, or structures that are formed to conform to the corners of the case. Such structures can be joined to the material forming the panels of the case by co-molding.
