Abstract: A clip-on towel is disclosed for use in sports and other activities where a readily accessible towel is advantageous. A first embodiment of the clip-on towel includes a clip portion that fits through an aperture in a towel portion and is adapted to engage the waistband of a user. The clip portion is attached to the towel by way of a restricted aperture thus eliminating the need for employing fasteners to attach the clip to the towel. A second embodiment includes a clip that is sewn to the towel and features a break away finger portion. If excessive force is applied to the clip, the towel breaks away from the user. The clip can be reassembled after breaking away inasmuch as it is designed to non-destructively separate.

Abstract: A shoulder strap suspension system has been devised for infant car seats of the rigid or molded shell type, the suspension system being made up of a shoulder strap and an undercarriage which releasably surrounds the end and side walls of the car seat and serves as an anchor or support for connecting ends of the shoulder strap either in a two point or a three point suspension, and contoured hip pads are provided on either or both sides of the car seat.

Abstract: A carrier for watches is disclosed including a loop for engaging the clothing of a wearer and a hanger suspended by the loop. The hanger is dimensioned to support a watch inverted. In one embodiment, the hanger partially encloses and engages the outer surface of the watch case. In a second embodiment, the hanger engages a pin on the six o'clock position pin openings of a wrist watch (with strap removed). In another embodiment, the hanger encloses the watch in a clamshell like fashion. In still another embodiment, a molded hanger of flexible material such as rubber or flexible plastic is formed with a recess to receive a watch.

Abstract: A clip is provided which is constructed to be removably mounted to a flexible pocket-like container, the clip consisting of a back portion having a stabilizing portion and a fastening portion, a front portion having a bend and a barb which is formed at a back side of the bend for facing the back portion to resist movement of fabric between the stabilizing portion and the barb, and a resilient transition connecting the back portion with the front portion to provide sufficient resilience to urge the bend portion and barb toward the back portion.

Abstract: A belt clip for securing a device such as a personal communications device, e.g. a paper or radio, to one's belt or clothing includes a tool having tool elements such as a screw driver, knife, bottle cap opener, file, letter opener, cork screw, scissors, etc. The tool itself may include means for securing it directly to the body of the personal communication device. The belt clip may also include a sheath to cover the tool. Alternatively, the sheath may include the means for securing the belt clip to the body of the personal communications device.

Abstract: A pouch (12) is provided for maintaining a medical unit, such as a telemetry unit (14), adjacent a patient (10) or personal articles or communication equipment on a person in a clean room environment. The pouch (12) includes a transparent front wall (34) and a non-woven material back wall (36) which are attached along a portion (38) of the periphery of the walls (34, 36). The transparent front wall (34) allows the telemetry unit (14) or personal articles to be viewed during use. The pouch (12) additionally includes a flap (42) with a reactivating, resealable adhesive strip (46) for releasably covering the top opening (41) of the pouch (12). The pouch (12) may be secured to the patient (10) or wearer by straps (18, 20) or a clip (52).

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying multiple pairs of handcuffs comprising a wristlet retaining member attachable to a belt. The retaining member shaped to define a wristlet receiving slot dimensioned to slidably receive a portion of one of the handcuffs. The retaining member including a biasing portion and a rigid portion with one end of the rigid portion overlapping one end of the biasing portion such that the biasing portion is positioned inwardly adjacent the second end of the rigid portion.

Abstract: A portable fertilizer root feeder for fertilizing plants which fertilizer root feeder operates on the principle of gravity and positioning of an applicator tube in order to regulate the flow of the fertilizer. The fertilizer root feeder includes a portable tank with a hose extension, a frame which supports the tank and which tank may be strapped to an operator's back for transport of the tank and a T-stake for making a hole in an area about plant roots such that the hose extension may be placed within the hole to deposit fertilizer. The invention operates without any mechanical parts and operates based on the principles of gravity.

Abstract: A holder for a paint can or other object having a handle is shown that is worn on the belt of a user. The holder comprises a base having a top and a bottom portion, the top portion being folded over the bottom portion and affixed thereto to form a loop which receives the belt of the user. A bracing means is attached to the top portion for holding the handle of the object so that the object will always be held in a vertical position. A swivelling means is attached to the bottom portion of said base and a strapping means is attached to said swivelling means for enclosing said object therein. In use, the object is placed in the strapping means and the handle thereof is attached to the bracing means, such that when the user bends over at an angle, the swivelling means will adjust the object so that it remains substantially upright and level to prevent spillage therefrom.

Abstract: A roll of gum label comprising a base plate having a first side, a second side, an upper extent and a lower extent, and a major aperture formed through the base plate intermediate the upper and lower extents. A U-shaped resilient clip has a closed upper end, an open lower end, a first leg and a second leg, with the second leg of the clip coupled to the first side of the base plate. An axle has a hollow threaded interior, first end, a second end and a cylindrical surface therebetween. The first end of the axle is adapted for registration with the major aperture of the base plate.

Abstract: Device for the rapid attachment and release of aqualung cylinders to and from a back structure comprising: a rigid support which is connected to the cylinders by means of belts and is provided at one end with a blocking recess, and a back structure which can be connected to the stabilizer jacket and is fitted with a transverse bar which couples with the recess in the rigid support. This back structure is provided near the end opposite the transverse bar with a pin which may be coupled to a mating hole disposed near the end opposite the recess. A spring clamp cooperates with said hole so as to disengageably lock said pin whenever inserted in the said hole.

Abstract: A CADDY CLIP.TM. (10) is described to enable a golfer to carry a club with him when he is chipping and putting around the green. The CADDY CLIP (10) includes a U-shaped portion (12) having a leg (14) which extends inside the golfer's belt. The leg (14) extends a significant distance parallel and in contact with the golfer's belt and includes a bend (16) to facilitate gripping and holding the clip in place on the golfer's belt. An arcuate portion (18) extends over the golfer's belt and a second leg 19 extends downwardly for a distance of about one to two inches. A fastener (20) holds in place a lower depending leg (21), extending downwardly from U-shaped member (12). This is a safety feature for the golfer whereby if the golfer trips either with a club in the device or if the CADDY CLIP is empty, the leg (20) can pivot and avoid harming the golfer in the event of a fall.

Abstract: A holster (10) for a selective call receiver having a liquid crystal display comprises a plastic housing (12) for removably retaining the selective call receiver and a substantially clear lens (14) integrally formed in the plastic housing providing protection to the display and allowing a user of the portable communication product to view the liquid crystal display while the selective call receiver is retained within the holster.

Abstract: A monaural stethoscope attached to a holder having a hook and loop fastening system. The holder is configured such that when the loop fastening material is folded up on itself, it mates with the hook fastening material to form a closed loop for retaining the coiled tubing of the monaural stethoscope. A pin fastener, such as a safety pin, is attached to the back of the holder so that the holder can be pinned to a medical garment, such as an anesthesiologist's scrub suit.

Abstract: An auxiliary holder for a sprocketed measuring, tensionable measuring tape having a conventional clip with a free leg thereon comprising a back panel having top, bottom and side edges, a front panel connected to the back panel to thereby form a pocket therebetween having a first transverse opening, a rectangular notch formed in the back panel extending from the bottom edge and at least one clip attached to the back panel for attachment to an individual. Abstract: A device for holding writing instruments has an elongated supporting member having a predetermined direction of elongation, a plurality of holding members arranged on the supporting member substantially side-by-side along the direction of elongation of the supporting member and each having at least one receptacle for receiving at least one writing instrument, each of the receptacles being elastically expandable so that a writing instrument can be introduced in the receptacle and then contractible so as to reliably retain the introduced writing instrument in the receptacle upon the contraction of the receptacle, the holding members being spaced from one another by a distance which is smaller than a size of each of the receptacles in the expanded position as considered in the direction of elongation of the supporting member, so that a writing instrument can be inserted into the receptacles but cannot be inserted into a space between the holding members.

Abstract: A structure of the casing of a radio pager or similar miniature portable apparatus and a clip attachable to the casing. The casing has an elongate groove on the top and a cavity having a generally L-shaped section in a lower end portion of the back. A base plate is complementary in configuration to the back of the casing to be engageable with the latter. The base plate has an engaging portion at the upper end and a bent portion to be received in the cavity at the lower end. After the engaging portion has been engaged with the groove of the casing, the base plate is brought into abutment against the back of the casing. Then, the lower end portion of the base plate is fastened to the casing by a screw.

Abstract: An arm steady rest provides support of the arm, particularly the forearm and/or wrist, of a person holding a relatively heavy or bulky article (e.g., rifle, archery bow, video camera, etc.). The arm rest is attachable to the belt or clothing of the user, or may be tied or strapped to the user, or used as a monopod resting upon another surface. The brace arm of the device telescopes, and moreover provides for axial motion of the two telescopes elements relative to one another while they are longitudinally locked at a fixed length. Adjustability is provided for both the upwardmost and downward/forwardmost positions of the brace arm while in the extended position. The device may be drawn from the downward or retracted position to the upwardly extended position and locked therein, or vice versa, with one simple motion of one hand; no additional manipulation of other components is required. Frictional security is provided to hold the brace arm in the downward position when not in use.

The holder is preferably comprised of a single piece of metal wire shaped to form a speed square support portion integral with a clip, or hook, for attachment to a carpenter's tool belt. Attached to or part of the cover 10 is a length of elastomeric material 20 running along the edge of the cover 10. Attached to or associated with the edge of the cover are two attach tabs 40A and 40B, which enable attachment of the device 100 to the user or the user's clothing. As the restraining and protective device 100 is placed over the equipment and attached to the user or user's clothing, the elastic action of the cover 10 edge keeps the equipment protected, camouflaged, and restrained from swinging. This is accomplished by combining the actions of the elastomeric material along the cover 10 edge and the attachment means used to maintain the restraint and protection device's 100 position on the user or user's clothing.

Abstract: A golf accessory has a flat, planar, disc shaped metal shield from the edge of which a pair of legs extend in generally parallel fashion. Opposite the legs there is a projection in the top of which a transverse groove is defined. The groove is of a size suitable for cradling a cigarette inserted therein. The projection may be formed as a return bent back in a loop to extend rearwardly from the metal shield to terminate in a backing plate located behind the shield. The leaf spring is secured to the surface of the backing plate facing the shield and can be resiliently deflected to receive varying thicknesses of bills or other papers. The backing plate and the shield may each also be provided with recessed regions in which magnets may be mounted to receive disc shaped ball markers thereatop. The ball markers are firmly held by magnetic attraction in the recessed regions atop the magnets, but can be readily removed therefrom.

In addition, the transmitter includes a clip member which may be used to hang the transmitter on various supporting surfaces. The clip member includes a vertical leg extending parallel to a rear surface of the transmitter and the vertical leg may be moved toward and away from the housing in order to accommodate supporting structures of different sizes.

The receiver includes a plurality of LED's positioned along the front upper edge of a housing for providing a visual indication of signals received by the receiver. The LED display is positioned such that they may be easily viewed from a variety of locations relative to the housing of the receiver and ranging from a location directly in front of the receiver to a location directly above the receiver. In addition, a clip member is provided on a rear portion of the housing for supporting the receiver from a person's belt as well as for acting as a leg to support the housing in an upright position.

Abstract: A flexible elongate strap for collecting and transporting recyclable milk containers includes opposite ends which can be fastened together, with one of the ends containing an opening, and the medial section of the strap defining a slot. A first milk container is attached to the strap by passing a first end of the strap through the handle of the container and then through the slot to form a loop around the handle. The end of the strap is then passed through the handles of additional containers which are retained on the strap by the first container. The hole in the end of the strap allows the strap and its attached containers to be suspended from a hook for storage. Prior to transporation the ends of the strap are fastened together to secure the containers to the strap.

The belt clip (44) has a second set of ears (24,26) with a second set of pin holes (20,22); the pin (130) passes through the first set of pin holes and the second set of pin holes (20,22) for establishing an axis of rotation (56); and the spring (100) is formed to apply force to maintain the belt clip (44) in a closed position against the back cover (31). The retaining ring (120) couples to the pin (130) for retaining the pin (130) within the first and second set of pin holes (20,22).

Abstract: A golfer's aid having a body in the shape of a clip which can be attached to the belt, pocket or waistband of the user or to a golf bag or other article. A strip of hook and look fabric is attached to the straight outer surface of the body for attaching the user's glove. A blade is rotatably attached to the end of the body. One end of the blade is a divot repair tool and one end is a curved surface for checking the roundness of golf balls. One square tooth and one pointed tooth are provided on the arms of the divot repair tool for cleaning the grooves in the heads of golf clubs. Ball markers may be included with the accessory. The ball markers preferably are equipped with a spot of hook and loop fabric on one the side so that the ball marker can be carried on the hook and loop strip on the body. Alternately, a hole surrounded by a small magnet may be provided in the body above the strip for receiving the spike of a ball marker which is either made of metal or provided with a metal collar.

Abstract: A game call holder for mounting on the chest near the shoulder or shoulder and upper arm of a user and positioning a game call in close proximity to the mouth of the user, in order to leave the hands free. In a preferred embodiment the game call holder is characterized by a support member fitted with pile fasteners and a clip for attachment to the collar of the user's shirt, jacket or coat. One or more holder straps having one end attached to the support member and the opposite end fitted with one or more loop fasteners, movably and adjustably secure the game call to the support member. A flexible arm strap is also attached to the support member and extends around the arm of the user and includes a loop fastener strip for removable attachment to the support member to stabilize the support member on the user's chest or shoulder. The game call holder is designed to be ambidextrous, since it functions equally well on the chest or shoulder for right or left-handed individuals.

A pocket formed by a slot in the exterior surface of the wallet is provided for receiving a metal clip which can be easily detached. The clip when inserted in the pocket allows the wallet to be out of sight carried in the waistband of clothing, and is easily retrieved for access to the contents.

Abstract: A portable wet paint brush holder which is formed by a substantially rectangular bottom panel, vertical front and rear walls, and substantially rectangular side walls forming an enclosure with a top opening for receiving the brush portion of a conventional paint brush having the handle extending in an upward direction. One of the side walls of the holder is substantially vertical, but the other is outwardly inclined from the vertical at the bottom by an acute angle of the order of thirty degrees so that the enclosure top opening is larger than the bottom portion. A flexible clip is attached to the rear wall adjacent to the angled side wall and the top of the rear wall for holding the paint brush handle and a flexible hinged gripper extends from the rear wall at the top for securing the holder to an external object such as the painter's belt or to a ladder strut or the lip of a paint can.

Abstract: A security device comprising a close-link chain with a lock ring permanently joined to one end for the formation of a bridle in which the centerfold of a billfold or wallet is confined. The other end of the chain is permanently joined to a second lock ring of greater diameter which is removably connected to a detachable spring clip with a t-bar guard for fastening the device to the waist-band of slacks or skirts without belt loops or the breast pocket of jackets. When applying the device to slacks or skirts with belts loops and a belt, which would interfere with the application and function of the spring clip with t-bar guard, the user separates the detachable clip from the second lock ring thereby allowing for the combinative formation of a first bridle with the belt loop, first and second lock rings, and a measure of close-link chain to secure the device to these kinds of clothing.

Abstract: A key holder and a method of holding keys is provided wherein the key holder is formed of a single continuous length of multiply-bent wire to define a plurality of legs. The legs form a rectangle/square with an arcuate portion there-behind. Keys are slid between the legs of the arcuate portion and at least one of the legs of the rectangular/square portion to the end of one of the legs. It is then slid onto the rectangular/square portion by sliding onto at least one leg.

Abstract: An apparatus is set forth wherein a cleaning fabric includes a flexible fabric sheet including an abrasive face and a soft cleansing face for the polishing and cleansing of associated golf balls. The cleansing fabric includes modifications that provides for a peel-away package insert of a cleansing solution, such as alcohol, to enhance a cleansing operation when opening of the packet is directed onto a cleansing surface of the fabric. The fabric further includes a further modification that includes a brush end and an abrasive cleansing end comprising a steel-wool type cleaner surface. The further modified fabric includes a transverse pocket positioned between laminated sheets for reception of a cleansing solution packet therewithin. The cleansing fabric is contained within a pouch, including a securement lid to be secured and worn to an individual's belt. A modified pouch includes a dispensing cavity for the fabric sheets and a second disposal cavity for containing the sheets subsequent to their use.
