Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a bicycle pannier mounting arrangement for mounting a bicycle pannier to a bicycle. The bicycle pannier mounting arrangement includes a locking device for locking the bicycle pannier to an element of the bicycle. The locking device includes a first hook member and a second hook member. The first hook member includes an inner seat surface configured to enclose a portion of the element of the bicycle. The second hook member is pivotally connected about a pivot axis by a pivotal connection with respect to the first hook member such that the second hook member can be pivoted between an open position and a retaining position. The second hook member includes a retaining portion for retaining the element of the bicycle and a lever arm portion connected to the retaining portion and extending beyond an outer peripheral surface of the first hook member.

The luggage of a motorcycle includes a control mechanism including at least one control lever, a hooking mechanism including at least one engagement element being adapted to pass from a position of engagement with the engageable element of the support frame and a position of disengagement from the engageable element, and a lever system including at least one cord including a first end connected to the control mechanism and a second end connected to the hooking mechanism.

Abstract: An adapter system for mounting or fastening bags or containers with fixing elements for engaging between struts of a luggage carrier and which can be reversibly attached on the upper side of a luggage carrier. The adapter system has at least two holding elements which engage on opposite struts of the adapter and are equipped with a spring-loaded and rotatably mounted lever, and the rotatably mounted lever has a geometry at that end of the lever which faces away from the pivot point and securely clamps the adapter system on the luggage carrier struts in a self-locking manner.

Abstract: The present document describes a system for hooking and unhooking a bag with respect to a fixed structure of a motorcycle that comprises a tubular fixing frame, configured to be constrained to the fixed structure, one or more fixing blocks, configured to be constrained on predefined portions of the bag and to engage with the tubular fixing frame, and a fixing group, configured to be constrained to the bag and provided with one or more hook-shaped movable hooking means. The movable hooking means are rotatably actuatable, by means of a lock mechanism, between a first operative configuration, in which the movable hooking means are engaged with the tubular fixing frame, and a second non-operative configuration, in which the movable hooking means are released with respect to the tubular fixing frame and it is possible to obtain the unhooking of the bag from the motorcycle.

Abstract: An adjuster mechanism that includes an adjustment gear, a housing with a radial lip, and a ball stud having stud teeth and a threaded portion threadingly engaged with the lip to retract and extend the ball stud relative to the lip during rotation of the ball stud. The gear having a gear body situated at least partially inside the housing and having splines for engaging the stud teeth to rotate the ball stud during rotation of the gear. Recessed inward relative to a gear body outer surface is a clutch tab that extends from a recessed side wall to form a side hinge. A stop wall on the clutch tab is engageable with the stud teeth when rotating the gear body in a first direction or second direction and disengageable from the stud teeth when rotating the gear body in the other of the first direction or second direction.

Two connectors each have a portion rotatable between an opened position to allow the connectors to be installed onto the rod-like member, and a locking position in which the portions lock the connectors to the rod-like member, and a biasing member biasing the portions toward the locking position. The portions of the connectors each rotate about an axis transverse with respect to the rod-like member. The portions of the connectors are oriented so as to rotate in opposite directions with respect to one another when concurrently rotating to the opened position and concurrently rotating to the locking position. A strap connected to said portions of both of the connectors, the strap being positioned with respect to the container portion in a grasping position such that a pulling action on the strap concurrently rotates said portions to the opened position.

Abstract: A hooking system for a motorcycle bag is described, comprising a framework, intended to be constrained to a fixed structure of a motorcycle, and a hooking plate, intended to be constrained to the bag. The hooking plate is provided with first fixed hook-shaped hooking means, suitable to hold a first portion of the framework, and second fixed support means, suitable to receive a second portion of the framework opposite to such a first portion. The system comprises moveable hooking means positioned at the second fixed support means and able to be rotatably actuated, by means of a lock mechanism, between a first operative position, to hold the second portion of the framework and keep such a framework hooked to the hooking plate, and a second non-operative position, to release the second portion of the framework and, thus, obtain the disengagement of the bag from the motorcycle.

Abstract: A hand tool holder, for a skid-loader and the like, includes a clip formed of a sheet of resilient material, such as heat-treated steel, bent into a V-shape and having, a rounded section near an open end for holding a handle of a hand tool. In one embodiment the hand tool holder is attached to an arm of a skid-loader by means of a strap and a ratchet mechanism. The strap is inserted through strap holes in the base and around the arm of the skid-loader and tightened with the ratchet mechanism such that the hand tool holder is held firmly against the skid-loader. Normally a second hand tool holder is mounted on the arm of the skid-loader in parallel with the first hand tool holder, with the respective clips being oriented such that a handle of a hand tool can be inserted into and securely held in both clips.

Abstract: A food and beverage caddy comprises a platform that is adapted to be securely placed within an existing touring pack or saddlebag of a motorcycle. The platform comprises a plurality of beverage cup apertures specifically shaped to receive and support standard beverage cups. Support legs elevate the platform above the bottom of the touring pack or saddlebag. Spikes or hook-and-loop fasteners can be used to attach the food and beverage caddy to the touring pack or saddlebag.

Abstract: Stay members to which various parts are to be attached are provided at a rear portion of a motorcycle, and stay supporting portions that support the stay members are provided on a vehicle body frame. The various parts include side bag supporting members and a carrier member. The side bag supporting members and the carrier member are fastened together to the stay members by a plurality of fastening members, and the stay members to which the side bag supporting members and the carrier member are fastened together are fastened to the stay supporting portions.

A mounting assembly for mounting a child seat on the bicycle is mounted around the steering tube. The mounting assembly includes a support body and a clamping element to attach the support body to the steering tube. The clamping element is coupled to the support body and is clamped around the steering tube and arranged between two of said spacer rings or between the head tube and a spacer ring.

Abstract: A detachable accessory carrier for bicycle includes a fixed seat, a positioning member and a fastener. The fixed seat has a positioning portion and a fixing portion communicated mutually. The positioning member has an inserting portion that includes a propping portion corresponding to the fixing portion so that when the inserting portion of the positioning member is assembled to the positioning portion of the fixed seat, the fastener can be coupled with the fixing portion and abut against the propping portion of the positioning member, thereby attaching the detachable accessory carrier reliably to the frame tube of the bicycle. The detachable accessory carrier can be partially detached with only the fixed seat left on the frame tube of the bicycle. The fixed seat has a rim conforming to a periphery of the frame tube so it will not interfere with the cyclist's riding or scrape the cyclist's skin.

Abstract: There is provided an accessory mounting device for a saddle riding type vehicle. An accessory mounting device for mounting a navigation device on a fuel tank comprises a base body on which the navigation device is mounted, and permanent magnets caused to stick to the fuel tank and thus allowing the base body to be mounted thereon. The permanent magnets are provided on the base body via spherical joints. In this sense, the permanent magnets are caused to stick to the fuel tank in a manner such that directions thereof are changed depending on a shape of the fuel tank, thus obtaining a stable mounting structure. Further, since there is no need to provide flexible members around the permanent magnets, an excellent durability is achieved. Furthermore, the base body comprises a bracket for holding the car navigation device, and an angle of the bracket can be adjusted.

The hooks of the basket are receivable over a portion of the deck of the luggage rack and the loop of the bungee cord is attachable to a lower portion of the luggage rack to secure the basket to the luggage rack.

A latch and a stop cooperate with each hook to snuggly enclose a rail in a manner that is generally independent of the cross-sectional size/shape of the rail. The stop is pivotably and slidably connected to the hook and cooperates with the hook to generally fix a position of the latch. Translation of the handle toward the hooks closes and locks the latch about a rail member and translation of the handle away from the hooks unlocks the latch so that the mounting system can be removed from a rail.

In this way, the basket has a supporting surface on its bottom, retaining surfaces on its sides, and an accommodating space in its interior. The tips of the supporting pipes are connected by the frame to form a firm structure. The frame is also made of a material with a light weight and sufficient strength and is formed into a loop of hollow pipe.

Abstract: A bicycle basket includes at least two support tubes, an upper enclosing frame, a plurality of intermediate frames and a lower enclosing frame, all of which are welded together, and a bottom panel locked onto the two support tubes. The at least two support tubes are parallel hollow tubes. Each support tube is U-shaped and comprises a bottom section at a middle portion, at least two bent sections extending from the bottom section, and two vertical sections. The upper enclosing frame is welded onto the at least two support tubes at an outer side of the end of the vertical section. The plurality of intermediate frames are regularly welded on an outer edge of the vertical section to form a containment space with the upper enclosing frame, the lower enclosing frame being welded on an outer edge of the bent section of the at least two support tubes.

Abstract: A lockable glovebox cover unit is configured for mating engagement with a frame mounted on a motorcycle. The unit includes a rigid cover element presenting a front and back. Portions of the back extend outward. A locking apparatus is received through the cover and includes a rotatable latch on the back of the cover element. When the latch is placed in the locked position access to the interior of the glovebox is not possible. A keyhole is formed on the front of the cover element for access to the interior of the glovebox. Additionally, the cover unit may also be removed from the frame when unlocked. The cover element is preferably made of a synthetic resin. In particularly preferred embodiments the cover unit includes a metal flange affixed to lower portions on the back of the cover. The flange is adapted for mating, gripping engagement to the frame.

Abstract: A connection device for connecting a bag to a bicycle carriage rack includes a transverse bar connected to a back board of the bag and two hook units are connected to the transverse bar. Each hook unit includes a flexible plate and a stud extends from the flexible plate. The stud can be engaged with one of positioning holes defined in the transverse bar by pulling the flexible plate to position the hook unit to the transverse bar. The hook units hook to a side of the bicycle carriage rack. A lower part is connected to a lower portion of the back board and has a second groove with which a sliding member is slidably engaged. Each sliding member has an I-shaped member which has one end pivotably engaged therewith and the other end of the I-shaped member is engaged with a support leg of the carriage rack.

Abstract: A vehicle comprising a frame having a front portion and a rear portion. An engine is supported by the frame. At least two wheels are connected to the frame, and at least one of the at least two wheels is operatively connected to the engine to propel the vehicle. A steering assembly is supported by the frame and is operatively connected to at least one of the at least two wheels to steer the vehicle. Intermediate brackets are connected to the rear portion of the frame. A rack has rack brackets. At least one of the rack brackets is removably connected to the intermediate brackets for removably connecting the rack to the rear portion of the frame. The rack is adapted to attach at least one of a cargo box and a bag to the vehicle. A kit for mounting a cargo box to a vehicle is also described.

To facilitate such mounting, the collapsible basket has a pair of spaced hooks attached to the top edge of one side of the basket and a resilient flexible connector in the form of a loop of bungee cord attached near the bottom of the same side of the basket. The hooks of the basket are receivable over a portion of the deck of the luggage rack and the loop of the bungee cord is attachable to a lower portion of the luggage rack to secure the basket to the luggage rack.

Abstract: A container mounted on a standard bicycle water bottle cage. The container could be a fabric bag or a hard shell case. In the preferred embodiment the container is fastened to the bottle cage by a plurality of straps, with at least one upper strap oriented to wrap around the curved upper front portion of the bottle cage and at least two lower straps, each oriented to wrap around each opposing vertical leg of the bottle cage. These straps can be attached to the container or attached to a base plate that is designed to receive the container.

Abstract: An animal carrier for mounting above the rear wheel of a cycle such as a motorcycle may be obtained by converting a motorcycle luggage carrier to an animal carrier. The motorcycle carrier mounts and bottom section may be equipped with a detachable top section equipped with extended sidewalls ported with ventilating ports and roofed canopy to protect the transported animal from the elements.

Abstract: A carrier device that is adapted to be attached to a bicycle or other transport vehicle for transporting preferably a skateboard or other equipment. One portion of the carrier device such as a clamp member can be connected to a bicycle, preferably the handlebar thereof. A skateboard is securely and firmly connected to a board rack or bracket of the carrier device by a securing mechanism. The board bracket can accommodate skateboards of numerous sizes or widths. In a preferred embodiment, the carrier device and skateboard are mounted so that balance of the bicycle is maintained and the rider's hands remain free to control the handlebar of the bicycle.

Abstract: A golf bag system is provided for transporting a golf bag on a motorcycle, the system including an apparatus and method wherein a first bag side and a second bag side are utilized such that the first bag side is mounted on an opposing side of the motorcycle to the second bag side. When the golf bag is to be utilized to play golf, the golf bag system provides for the operative attachment of the first bag side to the second bag side to become an integral or combined golf bag. The respective golf bag sides include a framework and are mounted rearward of the first rider position on the motorcycle, and may be supported in part by foot pegs that would otherwise be utilized by a passenger on the motorcycle. There are cross supports and other means to attach the respective bag sides to and around the motorcycle and/or to each other for a balanced and comfortable operation of the motorcycle during the transport of the golf bag system.

A first version of the bottle holder has a clip for attachment to the belt or waistband of the user's clothing. The upper frame includes a head pipe, a tubular main frame section attached to the head pipe, a pair of seat rails extending rearwardly in a divergent fashion from the main frame section, and a rear crossbar interconnecting the seat rails at rear portions thereof. The lower basket frame comprises left and right down tubes extending downwardly in a divergent fashion from the head pipe, a pair of left and right lower pipes extending rearwardly from lower ends of the respective down tubes, and a pair of medial frame sections extending between rear ends of the lower pipes and the seat rails. The auxiliary frame has a width substantially equal to a distance between the left and right lower pipes.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for installing an optional element to a portion of a frame of a bicycle. The apparatus includes an insert formed on the optional element and a socket extending from the portion of the frame of the bicycle in a longitudinal direction of the bicycle. The insert can be inserted into the socket so that the rotation and movement of the insert in the socket is allowed. A quick release is installed on the socket in order to cause the socket to clamp the insert so that the rotation and movement of the insert in the socket is restrained.
