Abstract: Disclosed is a backpack having a gas mask. The backpack includes a body made of a sack shape and having a front surface and a rear surface, a pair of shoulder bearing straps attached to the front surface and at least one pocket positioned at the rear surface for receiving trifling articles, a mask overlapped over the front or rear surface of the body and having a detachable filter and an auxiliary cap for separately enclosing and sealing surroundings of a mouth and nose of a wearer, and an auxiliary cover installed to the rear surface of the body for opening/closing the mask. The backpack can be used as a gas mask to enable a wearer to evacuate from a dangerous area in case of emergency such as fire or toxic gas outflow.

Abstract: A knapsack with stereophonic reproducing kit mainly includes a knapsack having pockets provided at predetermined positions for receiving a musical sound source and two speakers that together form basic items in the stereophonic reproducing kit. A user may enjoy listening to music or broadcast alone or with other companions at any time and at any place while carrying the knapsack on the back or on the shoulder.

Abstract: A cap and shade combination in which the shade may be folded inside an attached pouch when not in use. The shade comprises a central portion and two wing portions such that it may be unfurled both down away from the cap and laterally in both directions around the rim of the cap. The extending portion of the shade is of split configuration and of light weight material to be better received within the pouch of the cap.

Abstract: Rollers are fastened to a chassis which is removably held to a bottom of a backpack by hook and loop fasteners. The rollers are on legs which are rotatably mounted at one end so the rollers can be moved from a first, compact position to a second, expanded position to provide better stability to the backpack which rests on the rollers. Another hook and loop area on the backpack can be used to store the rollers and chassis when they are removed from the bottom of the backpack.

Abstract: The present invention is a beach accessory that combines a backpack and beach towel into an integral, unique product. The invention may also be used as an adjustable pillow for car and airplane travel. Fabricated from 100% terrycloth or velour towel and 100% cotton or cotton blends, the accessory is machine washable for easy care. The accessory can be easily unfolded to access the towel and just as easily refolded when desired. In backpack form, the invention includes ample storage space for personal items. An added feature incorporates a security pocket for the safekeeping of valuables. Adjustable straps are provided to ensure a good fit when the accessory is utilized as a backpack. The straps also function to secure the towel in a rolled-up configuration when employed as a pillow.

Abstract: A laptop computer transport and support system for a mobile environment such as an airplane, bus or train is embodied as a wheeled clamshell style backpack carrying case with a retractable handle. The system is employed by unzipping three case edges and lifting a hinged protective cover thereby exposing a computer. The backpack straps unhook from the cover and secure to a user's seatback or around a user's headrest while strap posts at an opposite backpack strap end extend from the case and prevent strap interference with the user. A foldable or detachable handle permits retractable handle posts to extend on each side of the user and support the system against the seatback instead of the user when the system is used. Optionally, computer peripherals within a compartmentalized base are connected within the base to a docking station port and provide the computer with quick access to the peripherals.

Abstract: A combination beach towel and knapsack in which the towel has a storage pocket or compartment at its top. The storage pocket has two clasp or similar fastening devices inside of the pocket. There are two drawstrings around the perimeter of the top of the pocket that when pulled, draws the top of the storage pocket into a closed position. The ends of the drawstrings are provided with fasteners.

Abstract: The triathlonbag is used for the rapid identification and segregation of triathlon equipment. The bag comprises a water-resistant base (11) to which water-resistant front and rear shells are connected with a waterproof closure device (16). Storage areas of meshed material are disposed on the interior (17, 18, 19) and exterior (1,3,4,5,6) surfaces of the shells and, along with a removable mesh cylinder (20), allow segregation of wet and dry items and rapid visual identification of and access to the equipment. This triathlonbag may be transported either as a duffel bag or as a backpack.

Abstract: An infant carrier configured to be worn by a wearer is disclosed. The infant carrier includes a seat support configured to support an infant's bottom, a back support, which is integral with the seat support, a head support which is integral with the back support and a strap support system which is worn around the wearer's torso to support the infant in the infant carrier. The seat support is diaper-like in shape with a front notch to prevent chafing the infant. Preferably, the strap support system is made up of a single pair of straps. Preferably, there is a separation (e.g., a seam) between the back support and the head support which allows the head support to be folded down when not being used to support the infant's head.

Abstract: A bag or holder for retaining fastening devices such as nails, staples, screws and the like is detachably positionable on a hand-held tool, such as a power drill, screw driver and the like powered by a battery, AC power, air compressor, pneumatic power, etc. The bag defines a compartment with an open top for retaining a desired quantity of the fastening devices for the user's easy access. A flap secured to an upper portion of the bag main body can be retained in a closed position, covering the top opening, and an open position, allowing ready access to the interior of the compartment. The bag can be suspended from the hand-held tool by a suspension strap secured to the bag main body. A plurality of fastening members positioned on the bag main body and the strap selectively retain the strap in an open or closed position.

A strap (39) attached to opposite sides of the back portion by triangular-shaped anchors, passes through this gap or channel (23) and had a lifting handle (38) attached thereto.

Abstract: A sports bag which is defined to include any carrying bag such as a duffel bag, backpack, gym bag or other bag which is used to carry articles such as sports equipment, a thermos, sports clothing etc, which includes a mat which is conveniently stored inside the sports bag when not in use and can be removed through an opening in the sports bag to permit the mat to be extended transverse to the sports bag so that it provides a flat surface on which the user may rest or place articles. The mat can be permanently affixed to the sports bag or it can be removably affixed and attached by means of fasteners such as male and female mating hook and loop fasteners, snaps, etc. The mat can be rolled up and stored within the sports bag when not in use and unrolled and laid flat adjacent the sports bag when in use.

The inventive rucksack or knapsack includes a back-wall and a bottom-wall formed of a rigid frame of a generally L-shape wherein a first leg of the frame supports the back-wall and a second leg supports the bottom-wall. The L-shape frame allows a user to lean against the back-wall of the rucksack or knapsack when the bottom-wall is on a support surface such as a floor.

Abstract: An information handling system lock and carrying strap provides a carrying mode to transport the portable computer and a security mode to secure the portable computer to a fixed object. A cable has attachment devices coupled to each end and operable to couple to a portable computer so that the cable acts as a carrying strap. The cable further secures the information handling system to a fixed device to prevent theft by attaching one cable end to the information handling system and the other end to a fixed object. In one embodiment, the attachment device include a secured unlocked position to allow convenient use as a carrying strap and a secured locked position to allow locking of the device with a key.

Abstract: These abstracts show that the Card & Comics Collectors Backpack is a new idea. The card collector's backpack has three clear plastic pockets on the front of the bag. It also has clear plastic pocket on each shoulder strap that holds a single card. Inside the backpack, which unzips from the right side that allows the backpack to open up like a book. It has a three ring binder, which will pull open to hold Trading Cards Pages. You will also find mesh pockets to hold a new deck of cards. Abstract: This technical disclosure is for a carrying case for a skateboard having an elongate body including forward and rearward wheel assemblies longitudinally aligned medially on a bottom portion of the skateboard body. The carrying case includes an enclosure that provides an inner storage area for enclosing the skateboard body and an opening on the enclosure for storing and retrieving the skateboard into and out of the storage area. A zipper closure located around a peripheral edge of the opening allows for secure closing and opening of the carrying case. The carrying case has two apertures for receiving the forward and rearward wheel assemblies of the skateboard therethrough when the skateboard is placed in the inner storage area of the carrying case. A covering member covers each apertures and covers the forward and rearward wheel assemblies that project through the apertures when the skateboard is located in the inner storage area of the carrying case.

The lower portion of the elongated bag 13 is adapted for folded placement exteriorly to the rear panel in positional opposition to the harness pouch. The user can access the device for operation conveniently without removal of the article. The device is affixed to the strap by clipping into a slit or pocket, or by disposing within a pocket in the article. The pocket preferably includes a clear outer wall, and a user interface such as a touch plate is accessible through the clear wall. Alternatively, the device may be embedded within the strap. Operation of the device is accomplished via a record button and a recording switch for selecting between modes. Prerecorded messages are accessed by touching the touch plate, and successive touches are utilized in order to access successive prerecorded messages. Alternatively, voice activation circuitry is included to access playback of messages. The device utilizes either analog or digital recording circuitry.

Abstract: A tool and parts carrier, capable of supporting a standard tool belt with tools displayed and easily accessible. The invention provides a metal framework consisting of two approximately rectangular sides, joined along the top by a hinge. The hinged sides spread open at the base to form an “A” shaped, self standing structure, utilizing the top of the rectangle as a carrying handle, and folding closed for easier carrying and storage. Each side is covered with a flat sheet spanning the carrier from front to back and from the bottom part way up the side. A horizontal, ridged prong extends along the width and above the flat sides of the carrier onto which a standard tool belt's tool bags may be threaded and hung on the prongs, supported by the sides. A detachable tray or trays attach to the carrier's framework to hold extra parts and tools. The carrier can be transported by hand or is self-standing, or attaches to a variety of objects such as ladders, railings, and joists etc.

The pouch is closed by a drawstring and a harness assembly using padded crossover straps secures the device around the carrier's shoulders. An additional strap at the bottom of the pouch secures the device around the carrier's waist or lower torso. It can be worn in the front and back positions and contains a side pocket for carrying a leash or other accessories.

The cover panel is openable to a position essentially perpendicular to the front face. The opposed side faces each have a belt strap extending outwardly therefrom. The belt straps each have corresponding male and female buckles for securing the tackle box portion around a waist of a user.

The holder for a portable terminal comprises an accommodating unit for accommodating the portable terminal, and plural wearing units for having the accommodating unit worn on a body. The plural wearing units include a thigh fixing band worn on the thigh, a belt fixing band suspended on a waist belt, and a waist belt band having only an inserting unit slightly wider than the width of the belt. The units are attached to the accommodating unit.

Abstract: A hand-down indicator for aiding a football official in tracking play of an American-style football game including a pocket for holding and storing accessory items which may be easily accessed by the official during the game is provided. The down indicator also preferably includes an elastic wristband configured to be wrapped around the official's wrist, and a finger loop extending from the wristband. The pocket may be positioned on an inside surface of the wristband, or on an outside surface of the wristband and is sized to house the accessory items. In one embodiment, the pocket may include a flap for covering the open end of the pocket. In another embodiment, a cleat checking device which may be used by the official to check the size of a player's cleats during the game is removably supported within the pocket. The cleat checking device may also be attached to the finger loop to provide easy access thereto and to prevent misplacement of the cleat checking device.

Abstract: A floating caddy for holding and storing the gear of wading hunters comprising an inflatable tube formed from an impermeable fabric for providing flotation for the caddy. The tube is configured to create a water resistant storage compartment within its periphery. The top of the storage compartment has weather resistant zipper for access into the storage compartment. The caddy is fitted with straps for attaching a shotgun and shoulder straps mounted to the tube to allow the caddy to be carried on the back of the hunter in knapsack fashion. The caddy may be floated in and out of a flooded area by a wading hunter by means of a tether attached to the tube. The fabric forming the caddy maybe printed in a desired camouflage pattern.

Abstract: A wheel system, adapted for incorporating with a traveling body, includes at least a pair of wheel assembly for attaching to two outer sides of the traveling body respectively. Each wheel assembly includes a reinforcing panel adapted to be provided at an edge portion of the respective outer side of the traveling body, a wheel shelter extended from the reinforcing panel that defines a wheel cavity between the wheel shelter and the reinforcing panel, and a wheel rotatably supported in the wheel cavity for supporting the traveling body on ground. Therefore, a storage space defined between the two outer sides of the traveling body is maximized and the rigid structure of the traveling body is enhanced.

Abstract: Disclosed is a securing device for personal pagers consisting of a plastic holster-type device that includes interchangeable securing means for attaching it to the clothes of the user. The present invention includes a conventional belt clip for attaching to belts and the like as well as a locking straight pin, either of which can be used at any one given time. The incorporation of the pin allows the user to attach the pager to virtually any article of clothing in a secure manner in a situation where the belt clip would be insufficient.

Abstract: A rucksack is provided on its rear surface with a flap (5) which serves as a cover attached at its lower edge to the rucksack body (2). A waterproof skirt (20) is attached to the inside of the flap. When not in use the skirt is housed within the flap which is kept closed. In the event of rain the flap and the skirt can be deployed over the main body of the rucksack thus protecting the contents of the rucksack from the rain.
