Abstract: An apparatus forming a modular backpack with two compartments where one is larger than the other. The two compartments may be utilized together or independently. Three straps are provided which may be utilized together with one or both of the two compartments. Two of the straps serve as shoulder straps and the third as a waistband by the user. The straps may be used in various configurations by the user with one or more straps being used at a time, likewise with one or both compartments.

Abstract: An upright sleep support system incorporates a head cushion having a face relief aperture to receive the eyes, nose, mouth and chin of a passenger placing his or her face against the head cushion with a hinged support structure for angular adjustment, sleeves that open in front to support the passengers arms, and a chest cushion on the back of the device. The chest cushion receives the passenger's chest in a forward leaning position. The head cushion is deployable from a backpack and the chest cushion is integrated into the back of the backpack.

Abstract: A cover-type containing structure for flexible enclosures primarily includes a front cover sheet, a rear cover sheet and a flexible enclosure. The front cover sheet includes a first joining edge and a cover piece, whereas the rear cover sheet includes a cover assembly corresponding to the cover piece. The flexible enclosure includes a second joining edge and by engaging the first joining edge with the second joining edge, the front cover sheet and the flexible enclosure are fixed. Besides, the containing structure further includes a holding portion. Under a contained state, the holding portion is used to contain smaller objectives; whereas, in an unfolded state, in addition to using the flexible enclosure to contain larger objectives, the holding portion can be also used to contain smaller objectives. The present invention can be also applied to a piece of clothing combined with a bag unit or other flexible enclosure.

Abstract: Backpacks and backpack systems which have at least a portion which is accessible from the front of a wearer. In one illustrative embodiment, a backpack system in accordance with the present invention includes a back portion with shoulder straps. A swing-around portion is formed as a storage compartment that is secured to the back portion in a carrying position. An articulated frame is secured to the back portion and the swing-around portion and allows a user wearing the backpack to pivot the swing around portion around the user's side and access the contents therein. A securing latch is used to secure the articulating frame to retain the swing-around portion in the carrying position. The entire storage compartment of the pack may be a swing-around portion, or the pack may include multiple storage compartments that are either fixed to the back portion or function as swing-around portions.

Abstract: The present invention features a modular back pack system having a bag with a zippered bag cover located on a bag top. A first adjustable shoulder strap and a second adjustable shoulder strap are located on a bag front. A bottom waist support is located on the bag front close to a bag bottom. The system features attachment straps and a water pouch with a water bag having a drinking hose. The system features a bag extension located in the bag having a flexible channel located around a bag top periphery. A gun pouch is located in the bag bottom. The system features a quiver, a sleeping bag and chair pouch, and a sleeping mat that attaches to the modular back pack system.

Abstract: A travel bag for organizing and compressing all the diving equipment generally taken by divers on diving vacations. The bag is a belt and shoulder strap supported trifold roll design made of a reinforced synthetic fiber that has no central cavity but rather, three panels with or without see through mesh to enclose pockets on the panels. The bag is washable and has no corrodible components thereon. The main features of the bag reside in it's ability for protective organization and protection of the delicate contents as well as a design suited for rapid opening and visual inspection for ease of access through security checkpoints. A plethora of accessories exist to enhance the versatility of the bag.

Abstract: The invention provides improved backpack and waist bag carrying systems in which a waist bag rotates through a lower compartment of a backpack to allow the bearer of the backpack to access the contents of the receiver of the waist bag by rotating the waist bag to the front of the bearer's torso. One or more doors are provided in one aspect to secure the receiver of the waist bag in the lower compartment of the backpack but permit the egress of the receiver through the opening covered by the door, which may be tensioned away from the opening by a tensioning system when the free end of the door is released. The receiver is tapered to easily fit into the lower compartment and remain in that compartment due to friction with the walls defining the compartment.

Abstract: A Front-Back Pack that provides the ability to easily and quickly transition a pack from a back position to a front position without the need to remove the pack from the body of a user. The Front-Back Pack includes a harness system with attached pack. The harness system may include a system of straps to keep a plurality of looped slide rail assemblies in position and to prevent the slide rail assemblies from moving. Alternatively, the harness system may include a half-vest or full-vest with slide rail assemblies fixedly attached. The slide rail assemblies are formed to receive trucks able to traverse the track assembly. The trucks are fixedly attached to packs which allow the packs to traverse the length of the track assembly from one position to another without the need to remove the pack from the body of a user.

Abstract: A skateboard carrying strap is disclosed for holding a skateboard against a user's back, wherein the strap comprises two separable sections. Each section comprises a complimentary belt buckle end and a skateboard securement end. On each securement end are extendable elastic bands, are placed around the wheel trucks of a skateboard to support the skateboard. The user wears the assembly across his or her torso, crossing over the shoulder, while the skateboard deck lies against the individual's back with the wheel trucks facing away from the body and in connection with the elastic bands. The belt buckle end comprises a belt buckle or clasp engagement adapted to rest against the user's chest, while the disconnected securement ends of each section are adapted to secure each skateboard wheel truck. When the device is not in use, the strap lengths can be connected into a continuous section for use as traditional belt.

Abstract: The invention provides a backpack (10) and cooperating waist bag (100) carrying system. In one embodiment the backpack has a lower or lumbar region below the bag portion of the backpack that releasably contains the receiver of the waist bag when the belt of the waist bag is secured around the bearer's waist and the backpack is worn on the bearer's back. The receiver of the waist bag can be moved without having to take off the backpack so that the receiver of the waist bag is disposed to the bearer's front and the bearer can gain access to the contents of the receiver. The bearer can then move the receiver back to the lower region of the backpack and the combination of the backpack and the waist bag then will appear to be a normal backpack with a waist belt. While moving the receiver, the waist bag remains operatively connected to the backpack.

The groove, slide member and latch device releasably mount the cowling member to the frame member.

Abstract: A child carrier worn on the back of a user for supporting and transporting a child includes a child seating and back support portion, an adjustable waist belt portion, two adjustable padded shoulder straps, a dual-adjustable cross-chest sternum strap, and two infant/child leg restraint straps. The child carrier is compliant to support the child from bottom, rear and side. The carrier may use shoulder and waist straps constructed of 3d air mesh fabric to provide adequate support and comfort, which enables the child carrier to be compressed into a small sack for stowage and transport in a pocket or other location.

Abstract: A carrying case for a portable electronic device includes an inner compartment having a front panel and a side panel extending peripherally around the front panel to define a hollow interior. A pivotal flap extending across width of the front panel is formed as an upper part of the front panel connected thereto through a living hinge. A plurality of spaced resilient dimples extends into the interior of the inner compartment from at least the front panel. The living hinge comprises an internal crease in a front panel material. The internal crease extends inwardly in to the material toward an exterior of the inner compartment from the front panel.

Abstract: A reversible backpack includes a backpack shell with first and second surfaces. The backpack shell is reversible through an access opening thereinto, such that either of the first and second surfaces is selectable as the exterior of the bag. One or more carrying straps are releasably connected proximate to the top of the backpack shell and, during reversal, are passed through strap openings proximate to the bottom of the backpack shell. A pocket shell located in a pocket opening of the backpack shell defines a pocket volume separated from the interior volume of the backpack shell. Pocket access openings in first and second faces of the pocket shell allow access into the pocket regardless of which backpack shell surface is exterior.

Abstract: A backpack and cooperating waist bag carrying system is provided. The bag portion of the backpack releasably contains the receiver of a waist bag when the belt of the waist bag is secured around the bearer's waist and the backpack is worn on the bearer's back. Abstract: A combination carrying case and workstation platform for an electronic device such as a laptop computer. The present invention is worn as a backpack, and designed so that the case can be moved to the front of the user's body by means of straps that encircle the user. The straps serve as the tracks upon which the case is moved from the rear of the user's body to the front. When moved to the user's front, the case can be folded down to form a workstation platform on which the electronic device can be used. Because the present invention hangs suspended from the strap system on the user's body, the user's hands are left free to operate the electronic device.

A second end of the storage compartment is releasably secured to a second location on the harness so that motion of the storage compartment with respect to the harness is restrained. With the second end of the storage compartment free from constraint, it can be pivoted about its first end from its stowed position to a frontal position on the user, wherein the frontal position allows access to articles contained in the storage compartment without removing the backpack from the user's body.

Abstract: The present invention is an interactive reversible apron and is used to amuse and entertain a baby with an assortment of interactive items and mobile media devices. The assortment of interactive items includes but is not limited to objects such as baby toys, a pacifier, and finger puppets. The mobile media devices can include objects such as a smart phone and a tablet personal computer. The assortment of interactive items and the mobile media devices held in place and support on the user's chest by the present invention. The user puts the present invention on, sits down, and places the baby on the lap so that the baby can access the assortment of interactive items and the mobile media devices. While the baby is sitting on the user's lap, the present invention prevents both the user and the baby from getting restless and allows the user to develop a personal connection with the baby.

Abstract: The belt, convertible to a backpack, is worn about the waist of a person and includes an elongated strap, free end sections and a belt latch. The belt-backpack also includes a sack attached to the strap mid-section. The sack has an opening to permit access to its interior and a closure system (zipper, velcro, etc.,) for closing the sack opening. A pair of elongated extension panels is longitudinally affixed to an outer surface of the sack and each panel has an opposing free side edge. Each opposing free side edge has a complimentary closing system (preferably zipper) such that the extension panels and the strap form a pouch within which is disposed the folded sack and, in an opened condition, the sack is unfolded to expose the closable opening of the sack. The free end sections form backpack straps which permits the user to carry the sack.

Abstract: A laptop carrier includes a case portion, a strap and a pair of clipping members. The case portion includes a first shell, a hinge, a second shell rotatably connected by the hinge, and a latching member for latching and unlatching the first and the second shells. Two ends of the strap are mounted on two respective opposite sides of the case portion. The pair of clipping members is attached on the strap for interlocking part of the strap and one of the first or second shells of the case portion.

Abstract: A compact yet expandable waist belt with a pouch preferably formed from a single piece of seamless elastic fabric, designed in some embodiments with pleats in the back, that remains taut around the wearer's body during even the most rigorous physical activities, whether the pouch is holding one smaller item (such as a key) or multiple larger items (such as a cell phone, mp3 player, and/or money). When empty, the pouch is preferably approximately the same width and thickness as the belt holding the pouch in place, and yet the pouch's internal volume can expand up to 300-400% or more to hold larger items or a large number of small items. The vehicle organizer includes a base and a pair of opposing primary walls coupled to the base. The vehicle organizer further includes a pair of opposing secondary walls coupled to the base. The vehicle organizer is foldable between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, at least two opposing walls are generally parallel to the base. In the deployed position, the pair of primary walls and the pair of secondary walls are substantially upright. The vehicle organizer also includes at least two batten pockets operative to receive a batten to enhance wall rigidity.

Abstract: In one example, we describe a holder for an electronic device, such as a cell phone. The holder allows the user to attach the device to the user, as well as straps, such as car seat belts and purse straps. This holder has the unique property of being able to accommodate a range of sizes of electronic devices. We can adjust length, width, and thickness, or use angles in 3 different directions, for multiple degrees of freedom, in Cartesian, polar, or cylindrical coordinates, or combinations, to adjust the size, for different devices, to make that very easy and cost effective/flexible for the consumers, to adjust very fast and secure, as an example.

Abstract: A combination blanket and seat article is disclosed. The blanket portion comprises a king-size terry cloth sheet with two removable seat cushions installed in pockets. Straps attaché the seat back to the seat cushion and secure the seat for comfort. Weights around the periphery of the blanket secure it in place. The blanket portion can be used separately from the seat portion. When the seat is inserted, the back portion can be rolled to form a pillow. A strap is provided to hold the rolled back in position. Handles are provided for carrying the article. Shoulder straps are also provided to enable carrying the article as a backpack.

Abstract: A backpack adapter comprising a generally L-shaped frame having a user side and a load side. The user side is provided with at least two coupling means for coupling a shoulder strap means thereon, the coupling means being spaced apart from each other. The L-shaped frame comprises a top L portion and a bottom L portion and the shoulder strap assembly is placed on either coupling means in order to either have the bottom L portion closer to the ground than the top L portion or reversibly have the top L portion positioned closer to the ground. Abstract: The present invention pertains to a wearable bag comprising a body divided by two panels, two shoulder straps respectively disposed on two panels, and a zipper with two zipper tracks and two zipper tabs. Particularly, the body has a plurality of pockets disposed therein, which are sewed to the front side thereof; further the panels are interlocked to form a bag with the shoulder straps by the zipper tabs sliding toward the same direction along the zipper tracks; relatively, the panels are detached to form a wearable vest while the zipper tabs slide toward a reverse direction. The utility of these structured-containers is thus limited. The present invention discloses an expandable container with a pair of carry-handles where a net container is coupled to a traditional structured-container to thus synergistically and substantially increase the maximum holding capacity of the traditional structured-container. Abstract: A fishing flip pack is described that consists of a detachable bag from a user worn flip pack harness. The flip pack harness and the bag are connected at a position that allows the user to access items in the bag and allow the user to easily manipulate a fishing rod.

Abstract: A style changeable backpack is disclosed where the backpack storage area is removable from a back support with shoulder straps to accommodate the style of the user. Backpacks of various styles and colors are combined or changed with back support and shoulder straps of various styles and colors. This allows a user to match the backpack and shoulder straps to the clothing that they are wearing as well as match the activities they will be performing. One style of storage area includes one or more transparent panels where pictures or drawings can be placed to further customize the backpack. The back support and shoulder straps are filled with memory foam to improve user comfort. A storage area can be configures as a gym bag, school backpack or a baby carrier.
