Abstract: The tape rule holding assembly includes an engaging member, which can be made of a flat steel spring, folded over itself to form a clip that can attach securely to a user's pocket. The engaging member is encased within a protective covering, which can be made of leather. The protective covering prevents wear and tear on the user's pocket by reducing the amount of friction created when the holding assembly rubs against the user's pocket. A tool engaging member is attached to the protective covering which allows any tool with a clip, including a tape rule, to slide securely onto it. The tool then hangs conveniently off of the pocket of the user where it is easily accessible.

Abstract: A retractor carrying device for personal use has multiple components that allow for easy storage, deployment, and detachment of small items carried inside the device. In one embodiment, the device includes a carrying case having an interior cavity, a retractor assembly having an interior portion and an exterior portion joined to the carrying case, and an attachment assembly connected to the exterior portion so that the device may be connected to a user's belt or strap. A retractable tensile member is rotatably disposed within the interior portion and is moveable between a fully retracted position and an extended position. The device also includes an end fitting connected to the retractable tensile member that is adapted to releasably attach the small portable items. When the retractable tensile member is in the fully retracted position, the end fitting is configured to nest in a recess formed in the interior portion.

Abstract: A belt mountable tool lanyard device includes an enclosure having diametrically opposed first and second openings, a plurality of internal dividers within the enclosure forming a plurality of lanyard device chambers wherein each chamber has at least one chamber opening that faces in the same direction as one of the first and second openings and wherein at least one of the plurality of chambers has a second chamber opening diametrically opposed to the one chamber opening forming a belt receiving loop.

Abstract: A smart phone holder assembly comprising a holster and a protective phone case. The holster includes two latch assemblies adapted to releasably engage with respective engagement members on the protective phone case thereby securely attaching and easily releasing the protective phone case from the holster. It is possible for the user to quickly, easily and securely engage and disengage the phone in its protective cover from the holster.

Abstract: Holders for portable handheld electronic devices. An embodiment has a compartment on a backplate that allows both a retractable cord and headpiece to be stored inside when not used. A spring loaded rewinder automatically retracts the cord and headpiece into the compartment where a hinge attached lid hides and protects the cord and headpiece. The backplate can include an internal inwardly protruding prong that is attached to the cord so that sliding the portable device into the holder plugs the prong into a socket on the device, and sliding the device out removes the socket from the prong. Another embodiment has a portable handheld electronics device holder with a built on bottle opener and can tab opener.

Abstract: A tool box includes a box body having a top cover and a bottom cover which are pivoting on each other, two foldable sets which are both assembled to the top cover and the bottom cover, at least one positioning base is assembled between the two foldable sets. Under this arrangement, the positioning base can be rotated outward relative to the bottom cover by the operation of the two foldable sets. Therefore, the user can pull out the tool bit from the positioning base directly without bending up the tool bit by the finger thereof at first.

Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for supporting a handheld electronic device including a holster and a clip. The holster defines a pocket for receiving a handheld electronic device and supporting the received handheld electronic device. The clip is coupled to the holster and is configured for movement between an open position and a gripping position and is biased towards the gripping position. In the open position, spacing is provided between the clip and the holster so as to receive an article. In the gripping position, the clip is disposed such that, when an article is disposed between the clip and the holster, the article is gripped by the clip against at least one gripping surface portion of the holster under the force effecting biasing of the clip towards the gripping position. When the clip is disposed in the gripping position, and a handheld electronic device is received and supported by the pocket, coupling of the handheld electronic device to the article is thereby effected.

Abstract: Holders for supporting portable handheld electronic devices, such as but not limited to iPhones®, IPODS®, IPADS™, cellular phones, and the like. Another embodiment has a portable handheld electronic device holder with a built on bottle opener, where the bottle opener in the outer face of a slightly raised box shape on the upper back of the case. The bottle opener can also be attached to a tab that slides in and out of the casing when needed. The bottle opener can include one or a pair of upwardly extending triangular tabs (with blunt tips) that can be used to pry open can tabs on soda and beer cans. A belt clip adapter can snapably fit into the bottle cap opener to allow the holder to attach to belts and pockets. A spring biased version also allows the belt clip adapter to be attachable detachable from the bottle cap opener holders. The belt clip adapter can include a bendable disc(s) to fit into the bottle cap opener, or into a keyhole slot on the back of a case holder.

Abstract: The support for cooling a container is a portable holder for a container of chewing tobacco that can be releasably attached to a vehicle air conditioner vent. The support includes a substantially circular front wall having at least one front rib formed on an inner face thereof. A semi-cylindrical sidewall extends peripherally from the inner face of the front wall, and at least one side rib is formed on an inner face thereof. A rear strap or wall extends across the sidewall, forming a pocket for holding the container. The rear wall is adapted for releasable attachment to the vent. In use, the at least one front rib and the at least one side rib space the container apart from the respective inner faces of the front wall and the sidewall to permit cool air to circulate around the container.

Abstract: A case for housing and protecting a tactical mirror having an attachment clip so that the mirror can be removably attached to a user's belt or other type of strap using the mirror's attachment clip. The case is closely contoured to the shape of the enclosed mirror and is preferably comprised of a lightweight design having a resilient outer material to withstand harsh treatment and a soft inner material to prevent the mirror from being scratched. The back of the case has an opening permitting the attachment clip of the mirror to extend through the case so that the mirror can be fastened to the user's belt. The opening on the back side and the closely contoured shape of the case enable the case to securely hold the mirror without having to employ snaps or other fastening devices.

A clipboard-type clamp is provided for securing a golf scorecard and a marking device to the holder.

Abstract: A battery pack retention system useful for releasably securing an external battery pack to a user includes a battery pack having a first surface feature that secured, but releasably, connects to a second surface feature on a securing device. The securing device has gripping means to secure the battery pack assembly to a ski boot or elsewhere on the user. The releasable connection between the battery pack and the securing device provides the system with flexibility to provide different types of securing devices for enhanced user comfort and convenience.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a carrier device for transporting a golfer's accessory items during play. The device includes a carrier member attached to a glove attachment surface that is configured to engage a portion of a golf glove such that the golf glove can be stored on the carrier member when not being used by the golfer. In accordance with other embodiments, the carrier member is configured to secure one or more golf balls therein. In accordance with other embodiments, various device holders are attached to the carrier member.

The arcuate pencil holding arm attaches to a pencil arm base, a trapped arm backing extending at 90° to the pencil arm base, and a chassis mounting clip extending along the underside of the triangular chassis.

Abstract: A holder for a pager, handy phone or similar portable apparatus includes a body for removably receiving the apparatus and a clip removably mounted to the body. A guide is formed on one surface of the body and includes a pair of parallel rails. An engaging portion is included in the clip and includes a pair of ridges slidingly engageable with the rails. A locking device is provided on the guide and engaging portion for selectively locking or unlocking them to or from each other. The locking device is implemented by a recess and a lug respectively positioned between one of the rails and ridges and between the other of the rails and ridges. A slit surrounds the lug while the lug is connected to one side of the wall of the slit and elastically deformable toward and away from the recess. The recess and lug mate with each other when the engaging portion is slid into the guide.

Abstract: A size-adjustable holster for carrying a wide variety of handguns in a wide variety of carry positions. The holster's body has a flat sheet with corresponding hook and loop fasteners on each side, allowing it to wrap snugly around almost any pistol. A clip is attached to the body for securing the holster to the wearer's clothing. The holster may be used by right handed or left handed individuals, for vertical or grip-forward carry. The holster may be worn inside the waistband, on the belt or waistband, inside a boot, or inside a jacket pocket.

Abstract: A square tool with tape measure includes a triangular housing with flat opposite sides and three edges forming a right-angled corner and two acute-angled corners. A groove is arranged along an entire length of each of the edges to enable the tool to be easily grasped and lifted. A measuring tape arranged within the housing is retractable flush into one of the corners. The tape is lockable in any extended position with a locking tab recessed into one of the edges. A bubble level is arranged within a window on the housing for indicating the horizontal position. A pencil holder is attached to one of the edges for holding a pencil. A pencil sharpener is provided for sharpening the pencil. A pair of guide rails arranged along opposite sides of one of the edges can be used for aligning the tool with a work piece. The tool may be clipped to a user's clothing with a belt clip attached to a side of the housing. In alternative embodiments, the belt clip is retractable and extendable.

Abstract: A container which is safely and detachably securable to one's person on an article of clothing, commonly a waistband, or attached to another item to provide secure containment of personal articles, portability and convenience. A pocket is formed as a container cavity with re-sealable fastening means to retain items inside the cavity. A secure clamping mechanism is affixed to the outer wall of the container to enable the container to be detachably secured to apparel and other items. Preferably, the clamp utilizes a locking, leveraged compression clamp mechanism. Formed from the pocket or container is a clamp cover or hood which hides the clamp when the container is worn on the inside of a waistband and further aids in actuating the clamp mechanism. Formed from the back panel of the container is a flap which extends over the cavity opening and press fastens to the clamp hood providing secondary closure means and greater accessibility to the cavity or its contents.

Abstract: A storage box structure for hanging on a waist belt, which includes an elongated box body having an inner plate and a partition plate attached to the inner plate. An opening is provided in the inner plate and a hook passes through the opening. The hook is connected to one end of a rope that passes through a hole in the bottom of the storage box and extends from the interior of the box body to the outside of the box body. The other end of the rope is secured to the bottom of the box body by a snap. The box body also has provided with an insulation slot formed on a back wall thereof that can receive the free end of the hook. Engagement and disengagement of the hook with the insertion slot can be controlled by and the rope. The storage box can be firmly attached to a waist belt without dropping and without taking off the waist belt. In addition, when in use on a waist belt, the storage box can freely move up and down for accommodating a user's movements without causing any discomfort to the user.

Abstract: A pack for carrying valuables and golf accessories by a golfer is described. The pack includes a pouch having a zippered closure for retaining non-golf accessories such as keys, change, glasses, and the like and an external pocket for retaining golf accessories during play. The pouch is elongated and concave with a rigid backing material having an integral clip thereon for affixing the pouch to the wearer's belt or to the golf bag. The pack is intended to make the golf accessories readily available during play while securing the golfer's valuables and to be easily removable from the golf bag after play so that the valuables can be maintained on the golfer's person.

Abstract: A combination water tight storage container and an attaching clip wherein the container has an opening therein and a cap thereon. A clip formed of a single, continuous length of multiply bent resilient material defining a plurality of loops is frictionally inserted into a slot in the wall of the container. The clip and container forming a gripping tension therebetween when inserted into a hole on the underside of a vehicle or on an article of clothing.

Abstract: A fastening device for mobile phones includes a mounting plate, a fastening plate and a mounting frame. The mounting plate has one side thereof provided a pair of mounting rails defining a mounting track therebetween and the other side thereof provided with a pair of fastening strips defining a track therebetween. The fastening plate is slightly curved and has a substantially T-shaped fastening rib for insertion into the mounting track. The mounting frame consists of a frame with a through hole; a circular post is provided on a rear side of the frame and is further connected to a circular plate of a larger diameter. The circular plate may fit into the track between the fastening strips so that the mounting frame may turn relative to the mounting plate.

Abstract: A clip-on towel is disclosed for use in sports and other activities where a readily accessible towel is advantageous. A first embodiment of the clip-on towel includes a clip portion that fits through an aperture in a towel portion and is adapted to engage the waistband of a user. The clip portion is attached to the towel by way of a restricted aperture thus eliminating the need for employing fasteners to attach the clip to the towel. A second embodiment includes a clip that is sewn to the towel and features a break away finger portion. If excessive force is applied to the clip, the towel breaks away from the user. The clip can be reassembled after breaking away inasmuch as it is designed to non-destructively separate.

Abstract: A clip is provided which is constructed to be removably mounted to a flexible pocket-like container, the clip consisting of a back portion having a stabilizing portion and a fastening portion, a front portion having a bend and a barb which is formed at a back side of the bend for facing the back portion to resist movement of fabric between the stabilizing portion and the barb, and a resilient transition connecting the back portion with the front portion to provide sufficient resilience to urge the bend portion and barb toward the back portion.
