Abstract: Various embodiments for the automatic detection of the presence of a protective case on an electronic device are provided herein. Generally, the electronic device includes one or more sensors; a device memory storing an application; a device processor, which upon execution of the application, is configured to: monitor, via at least one first sensor, a trigger condition for detecting the presence of the protective case; detect the trigger condition; in response to detecting the trigger condition, cause the electronic device to vibrate for a pre-determined period of time; collect, via at least one second sensor, sensor data during the pre-determined time; extract at least one feature from the sensor data; based on the extracted at least one feature, determine whether the protective case is applied to the electronic device; and generate an output indicating whether the protective case is applied to the electronic device.

In some configurations, a base bag or a gear set includes a pocket flap that easily moves from an external orientation to an internal orientation to permit access to the pocket. Abstract: A two piece holster support for supporting a handgun holster on a belt includes a first piece that is configured to clamp onto the belt at a clamp location when the belt is threaded through the first piece in a belt direction and pulled tight, thereby to support the first piece on the belt. A second piece is supported on the first piece for sliding movement relative to the first piece in the belt direction between a plurality of positions at varying distances from the clamp location. The second piece has a loop configuration defining a belt passage for engaging the belt at a location spaced apart form the base and thereby supporting the second piece on the belt. The second piece is movable on the first piece in the belt direction whereby the belt passage on the movable piece can be set at a variable distance from the clamp location of the base.

Abstract: A back support device includes a plurality of durable and semi-rigid layers. One of the layers is capable of conforming to the contours of a body part of user. At least one clip enables the device to be supported on a lower garment worn by the user. The back support device more specifically includes a first layer, a second layer, a third layer, an insert disposed between the second layer and the third layer, a pair of slits disposed on the first layer, on the second layer, and on the third layer, and a pair of clips respectively inserted through each the pair of slits.

Abstract: A sleeve assembly selectively encases and protects an electronic device such as a tablet computer or smart phone. The sleeve assembly is preferably constructed from materials having high impact resistance or toughness qualities. The sleeve assembly includes two substantially identical half shells each of which are constructed from the impact-resistant material and are internally configured or contoured to together define a device-receiving volume operable to simultaneously prevent internal device shift or movement while providing the impact-resistant casing. A first portion of the electronic is receivable in a dorsal volume via ventral sections when the ventral sections are separated from one another, and a second portion of the electronic device is receivable in a ventral volume when the ventral sections are separably attached to one another. The sleeve assembly thus selectively covers and protects the electronic device as received in the dorsal and ventral volumes.

Abstract: A live bait well has a body member formed from closed cell foam neoprene and has a generally U-shaped clip that extends upwardly from an upper edge of the body member, proximate the back, wherein the clip is used to attach the device to the waistband of a user's pants. A liner is removably disposed within an interior space of the body member to help protect the interior of the body member. The body member is formed from two similar sections that are joined together at inwardly directed side edges of each section so as to form a stiffening rib that runs between the first side and the opposing second side along the closed bottom. The open top of the body member is closed using a magnetic closure system.

Abstract: A drywall knife holster includes a belt hook, a back member and a knife holder. The back member couples with the belt hook. The knife holder couples with the back member through an upwardly facing U-bend that biases a pinch region of the knife holder toward the back member. Inserting a drywall knife blade between the knife holder and the back member, and seating a leading edge of the drywall knife blade within the U-bend, causes the pinch region of the knife holder to urge a handle of the drywall knife into contact with the back member. The back member and the knife holder may form a holster portion that couples with the belt hook through a swiveling connector. The holster may continue past the pinch region to form a second drywall knife holder and/or a loop member to accommodate a different tool.

Abstract: A glare shield includes a structure having an open face which is capable of fitting about a rear side surface of a mobile telephone. A plurality of apertures is configured to accommodate power jacks, earphone jacks, volume buttons, power switches, control switches, and such devices commonly associate with the mobile telephone. The glare shield is foldable and also incorporates a deployable stand.

Abstract: A holster system including an elongated backer plate having a plurality of slots, a hinge that pivotally connects a first end of the backer plate to a first end of the cover plate, a resilient lock that releasably connects a second end of the backer plate to the second of the cover plate, an adjustable spacer located between the backer plate and cover plate, the cover plate, the hinge and resilient lock is adapted to accept a range of different sizes of belts worn by a human user and wherein the adjustable spacer may be inserted into any of the plurality of slots to accommodate the different sizes of belts and a police or military holster rotatably attached to the backing plate.

Abstract: A protective enclosure for an electronic device includes a first case portion that may be adapted to surround at least a portion of a top device portion and a second case portion that may be adapted to surround at least a portion of a bottom device portion. The protective enclosure may also include a first hinge member coupled to a portion of the first case portion and a portion of the second case portion, and the first hinge member may pivot about a first hinge axis that is coaxially aligned with or parallel to a device hinge axis.

The saw sheath (1) includes a flat sheath opening section (10) and a flat main sheath body (20), and a saw blade (41) is inserted into the main sheath body (20) via the sheath opening section (10). A pair of guide rollers (12) are provided at the entrance of the sheath opening section (10), on the left and right sides in the width direction of the entrance, and a grip penetration preventing section (15) is provided in the interior of the sheath opening section (10). The space from the guide rollers (12) to the grip penetration preventing section (15) constitutes an elastic grip-fitting space (16).

Abstract: An inside waistband holster includes a front panel comprising a waistband connector that holds a top side of the front panel at a waistline of a user's pants. The holster also includes a back panel attached to the front panel, such as along a bottom side of the back panel and the front panel and along lower sides of the back panel and the front panel. The front panel and the back panel define a pouch in which a firearm may in stored, and a top portion of the front panel is unattached to the back panel. The back panel includes a flap configured to extend over the front panel and to releasably connect to the waistband connector in a stored condition. The flap is also configured to be pulled upward such that the top portion of the front panel peels away from the back panel in an exposed position.

A retractable tensile member is rotatably disposed within the interior portion and is moveable between a fully retracted position and an extended position. The device also includes an end fitting connected to the retractable tensile member that is adapted to releasably attach the small portable items. When the retractable tensile member is in the fully retracted position, the end fitting is configured to nest in a recess formed in the interior portion.

Abstract: A belt clip for supporting a paint container from a user's waist belt while allowing the painter spill free freedom of movement and secure means for stowing a paint brush. The belt clip has an integral body configured to have an elongated back, a neck extending outward from the proximal end of the back, a head, and a magnet embedded in the head. The belt clip is configured to have a recessed channel for receiving the bail of the paint can and a separate integral hook part for supporting a paint container having a peripheral lip. The back is configured to allow the belt clip to pivot slightly side to side about the wearer thereby accommodating a limited range wearer movement. The magnet allows a user to secure a paint brush to belt clip so that the bush is oriented directly over the open paint can, thereby reducing inadvertent painting errors and messes.

Abstract: A munitions carrier. The carrier securely retains a magazine and provides for rapid deployment of the magazine. The carrier is box-like and has one or more open ends. Four faces are sized and shaped to engage the four longitudinal faces of a magazine. The carrier has inside contours which can engage a complementary area of the outfeed end of a magazine. The carrier made from a material is flexible and has memory for returning to a configuration for retaining a magazine. At least two faces are discontiguous with each other and can be separated from each other. A retained magazine can be disengaged from the carrier and rapidly deployed if a multi-vectored force is applied to the magazine.

Abstract: A strap assembly is provided for securing personal containers. The strap assembly includes an elongated central strap body and first and second carabiners at opposing ends of the strap body. The strap assembly can further include an elongated secondary strap having a first end attached to the central strap body and a second end configured such that the second end can attach to either the first carabiner or the second carabiner interchangeably.

Abstract: Holders for portable handheld electronic devices. An embodiment has a compartment on a backplate that allows both a retractable cord and headpiece to be stored inside when not used. A spring loaded rewinder automatically retracts the cord and headpiece into the compartment where a hinge attached lid hides and protects the cord and headpiece. The backplate can include an internal inwardly protruding prong that is attached to the cord so that sliding the portable device into the holder plugs the prong into a socket on the device, and sliding the device out removes the socket from the prong. Another embodiment has a portable handheld electronics device holder with a built on bottle opener and can tab opener.

Abstract: A hands-free mount and a manufacturing method for a hanging structure thereof are disclosed. The hands-free mount includes a mount body and a hanging arm. The mount body is formed by a bottom shell and a top shell coupled mutually. The hanging arm includes a metal substrate and inner and outer coatings wrapping the metal substrate. The outer coating has a chamfered end located outside the bottom shell and inclined at an angle. The manufacturing method for the hanging structure of the hands-free mount uses an over-molding process to fully wrap the stainless steel core, so as to endow the hanging structure with good appearance and soft touch and prevent the product from rusting. Using the hanging structure as the hanging arm, the hands-free mount has improved firmness, appearance and touch.

Abstract: An arrangement for carrying or storing or transporting portable items for quick access by a user includes a magnetically assisted mechanical catch and carrying system which has a carrying unit with a cavity and a carried member with a protrusion that is received in the cavity. The carried member has a recess and the carrying unit has a movable latch that can be engaged into the recess for locking the carrier member in the cavity. Mutually magnetically attracting parts or materials are provided in or on the carrying unit and carried member for magnetically attracting the protrusion into the cavity. At least one or both of the latch and the protrusion are shaped to allow easy insertion of the protrusion into the cavity, or the latch may be manually pushed aside to allow insertion of the protrusion into the cavity.

The delimiting portion can thereby form varying predetermined width passageways within the belt aperture.

Abstract: An earphone protector device includes top and bottom compartments partitioned by and releasably attachable to opposite sides of a central partition member. A passage through the partition member is sized for insertion of earphone cords, wherein the corresponding earphones are located on the top side of the partition member and the earphone plug is located on the bottom side of the partition member. When used in conjunction with a portable media player, the earphones and earphone plug may be extended through slots located on each corresponding compartment, thereby limiting the amount of slack in the earphone cords during use. In another embodiment of the device, the central partition member does not include a passage and the device may be used for separately storing complimenting articles in the two compartments.

Abstract: A concealable handgun holster is disclosed with a handgun encasement supported within clothing of a wearer by one or more attachment clips, the attachment clips being hidden “in plain sight” by decorative features that deceive an observer into thinking the clips are decorations rather than part of a holster. In preferred embodiments, the holster is a hybrid holster with a handgun encasement formed by a leather sheet attached to a rigid plastic cover, preferably made of Kydex®. The clips can be plastic or metal, preferably steel, and can be attached to the encasement by rivets, screws, or any other suitable fastening means known in the art. Decoration of the attachment clips can be by shaping of the clips, perforation of the clips with decorative shapes, engraving on the clips, printing on the clips, and/or attachment of decorative items to the clips.

Abstract: A holster for a portable device is described. The holster includes a cleaning mechanism for cleaning a surface of a portable device while it is in the holster. The cleaning mechanism comprises a cleaning head movably coupled to a housing of the holster and positioned adjacent an interior surface of the holster; and an actuator coupled to the cleaning head and positioned on an exterior portion of the holster. Movement of the actuator moves the cleaning head, cleaning a portion of a surface of the portable device.

Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for supporting a handheld electronic device including a holster and a clip. The holster defines a pocket for receiving a handheld electronic device and supporting the received handheld electronic device. The clip is coupled to the holster and is configured for movement between an open position and a gripping position and is biased towards the gripping position. In the open position, spacing is provided between the clip and the holster so as to receive an article. In the gripping position, the clip is disposed such that, when an article is disposed between the clip and the holster, the article is gripped by the clip against at least one gripping surface portion of the holster under the force effecting biasing of the clip towards the gripping position. When the clip is disposed in the gripping position, and a handheld electronic device is received and supported by the pocket, coupling of the handheld electronic device to the article is thereby effected.

Another embodiment has a portable handheld electronic device holder with a built on bottle opener, where the bottle opener in the outer face of a slightly raised box shape on the upper back of the case. The bottle opener can also be attached to a tab that slides in and out of the casing when needed. The bottle opener can include one or a pair of upwardly extending triangular tabs (with blunt tips) that can be used to pry open can tabs on soda and beer cans. A belt clip adapter can snapably fit into the bottle cap opener to allow the holder to attach to belts and pockets. A spring biased version also allows the belt clip adapter to be attachable detachable from the bottle cap opener holders. The belt clip adapter can include a bendable disc(s) to fit into the bottle cap opener, or into a keyhole slot on the back of a case holder.

Abstract: A case for an electronic device includes a main body configured to secure and protect the electronic device and one or more accessory-attachment nodes configured to be coupled to a case accessory. Example case accessories include shoulder straps, car headrest frames, wall-mounting frames, and the like. When the electronic device case is mated to the case accessory using the one or more accessory-attachment nodes, the electronic device may be securely positioned for transport and/or use. Further, the one or more accessory-attachment nodes may allow the case and, in particular, the electronic device coupled to the case, to be easily moved from one case accessory to another case accessory.

Abstract: An attachment mount for removably attaching articles to a MOLLE/PALS-compliant garment or the like. The mount is unitary with openings for affixing an article. A pair of resiliently compressible outer tines with a barb are compressed inwardly to be inserted through a pair of adjacent loops in a first horizontal webbing and then into a vertically-aligned pair of adjacent loops in a second webbing. Upon exiting the loops of the second webbing, the barbs spring outwardly to catch upon a lower edge at spaced stitched areas of the second webbing. Inner tines are directed overtop of the first webbing and into the same loops in the second webbing occupied by the outer tines, with the stitched area between the loops straddled by the inner tines.

Abstract: A housing assembly having a housing and a clip. The housing has a pair of raised ridge portions and a first locking portion formed between the pair of raised ridge portions. Each of the pair of raised ridge portions has an undercut side wall and the undercut side wall defines a sliding groove. Additionally, the pair of raised ridge portions has a first entrance port and a second entrance port at two ends thereof. The clip has an insertion portion, a bent portion and a clamp portion. The insertion portion has side edges for inserting within the pair of raised ridge portions through either of the first entrance port and the second entrance port and a second locking portion.

Abstract: The invention is an ergonomic detachable handle having a grip portion terminating at one end in a contoured band for carrying a paint container and associated brush. The contoured band has a cantilevered support portion with an upstanding peripheral edge for receiving the lip of a container. A spring biased retainer clip is mounted to the cantilevered support portion so that the slidable movement of the spring biased retainer clip traps the lip of the container between the upstanding peripheral edge of the cantilevered support portion and the spring biased retainer clip to securely hold the container to the grip portion of the handle. A shell housing dependent from the cantilevered support portion houses a permanent magnet in contact with the wall of the container to hold a painter's brush magnetically against the magnet on the inside of the container.

Abstract: A quick-release arrangement for a hand-held device (30) comprising a belt clip (10) and an engagement element (20), wherein the belt clip is adapted to fit on a user's belt or waistband, the engagement element is attachable to a hand-held device, and the belt clip has a retaining portion (17, 18) shaped to slidably accept the engagement element to a limit point and to form an interference fit with the engagement element at said limit point.

Abstract: A coat or personal item carrier that is worn by a person is disclosed. An example of personal item carrier includes at least one elongated flexible strap, the elongated flexible strap having a first end, a second end, and a mid section, the first end and the second end each including a waist connector that is adapted for engaging the waist portion of the user's garment. A coat hook is attached to the elongated flexible strap at about the mid section of the elongated flexible strap so that the coat hook is positioned over the wearer's back when the elongated flexible strap is worn as disclosed. The coat hook or coat hooks are used to support personal items such as coats, purses, or other items that would otherwise have to be carried in the person's arms.

Abstract: A package for product pieces includes a housing having a plurality of walls forming an interior adapter to hold a plurality of product pieces. The housing has a dispensing opening in communication with the interior. A resilient member is disposed in the housing interior and is adapted to urge the product pieces toward the dispensing opening. The housing has an aperture formed in one of the plurality of walls disposed adjacent the dispensing opening to permit the product piece to be engaged and moved out of the interior through the dispensing opening.

Abstract: Disclosed is a plate-shaped heating panel having connecting members fastened to each other by means of resin. The heating panel comprises upper and lower plates integrally formed to face each other so as to form an inner fluid pathway in which heating water flows, a plurality of connecting members, The holes are filled with a melted plastic resin, and the melted plastic resin is integrated with the connecting members by pressing.

An embodiment has an upper compartment on a backplate with sleeve edges that allow both a retractable cord and headpiece (earphones, headset) to be both stored inside when not being used. A spring loaded type rewinder on the backplate with sleeve edges automatically retracts both the cord and headpiece into the compartment where a hinge attached lid hides and protects both the cord and headpiece when not being used. The backplate with sleeve edges can include an internal inwardly protruding male prong that is attached to cord so that sliding the portable handheld electronic device into the sleeve edges plugs the prong into a female socket on the portable handheld electronics device, and sliding the device out removes the socket from about the male prong.

Abstract: A device for carrying an ammunition magazine has a band which encircles a conventional magazine and which has two downwardly extending plastic tabs. The two plastic tabs are spaced sidewardly to define an downwardly opening, downwardly extending gap, which permits the tabs to be received within openings in two adjacent loops presented by a standard MOLLE webbing on a Pouch Attachment Ladder System or PALS grid on a vest or other clothing item. The tabs are shaped to slide behind standard MOLLE webbing and engage the webbing to hold the magazine securely until the user grabs the magazine and pulls it away from the MOLLE webbing. The tabs are biased towards the magazine, and have a lower protrusion which engages beneath a belt, allowing the same device to be attached to a belt.

Abstract: A tray for paint or other coatings may be disposed on a horizontal surface and also may be suspended vertically, for example from the belt or waistband of a user. The tray is especially adapted to be used in a vertical orientation with a roller-type coating applicator, and comprises a front wall, back wall, oppositely disposed side walls and a bottom wall cooperating to define a coating receptacle, with the front wall, back wall, and side walls each having a top edge cooperating to define an open top of the coating receptacle. The tray is adapted to be suspended by a bracket at the side of a user, for example by the belt and/or waistband of the user.

The container may serve as an anchoring point for one or more methods of displaying the loop of flexible material. Some methods of use position the loop of flexible material over portions of a user's body. Some methods of use permit one hand operation of the apparatus.
