Abstract: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery that is less likely affected by vibration, shock, or the like. A stacked lithium ion secondary battery is characterized in that separators, which are stacked with positive and negative electrodes, are a flat bag or flat tube with at least one side of an outer periphery thereof intermittently heat-sealed; the heat-sealed side is provided with concave and convex portions made up of straight lines or curves or a combination of straight lines and curves; the outer periphery of the separator made with the concave and convex portions is positioned outside the outer periphery of the negative electrode along with the concave and convex portions; and the outer periphery of the negative electrode is positioned outside the outer periphery of the positive electrode housed in the bag-shape or tubular separator.

Abstract: A swing-open type package has a box body (10), a lid (12) to be put onto the box body (10) from above, and a swing device connecting the lid (12) and the box body (10), the swing device including a movable rear wall portion (36) formed by a part of a rear wall of the box body (10), and a support flap (44) connecting the lid (12) and a transverse wall (21) of the box body (10), and enables a swing motion of the lid (12) when a front wall of the lid (12) is raised from the boxy body (10) so that the swing motion causes the lid (12) to tilt and open wide.

Abstract: A hinged lid structure is provided that is configured for attachment to a paperboard receptacle. The lid structure includes a tamper evident shield structure that requires breaking at least a portion of the shield structure away to effect exposure of a portion of the lid structure to a user to effect opening of the lid structure. The lid structure also includes a plurality of peripherally spaced apart webs for providing structural rigidity to the lid structure and therefore additional strength the upper open end of the receptacle it is attached to.
Abstract: A display box including a base tray and lid, the lid being connected to the base tray by a hinge element formed integrally with the lid. The hinge element includes a formed flexible hinge portion having inner and outer webs extending between the lid and base tray across an offset between their rear walls. It also includes a rigid hinge portion that lies adjacent to the inner face of the base tray's rear wall, and is attached to a tray insert via a tab. The arrangement is such that, at closure, the lid sits flush on the base tray, and such that the lid can remain in an open position inclined to the vertical, with the flexible hinge portion taut and the lower end of the lid rear wall abutting the outer face of the base tray rear wall. This allows an item to be displayed in the box in an attractive and pleasing manner.

Abstract: A single-piece side-loading box includes a top, a bottom, a plurality of wall portions, and a side-opening panel in one unitary piece. The unitary piece is foldable from an unformed configuration to a box configuration with the side-opening panel openable in the box configuration to permit access to an interior of the box. The plurality of wall panels are connected between the top and the bottom in the box configuration. At least some of the wall panels in the box configuration overlap to form one or more multi-panel walls. The box includes a releasable fastening mechanism for fastening the side-opening panel in the closed position. The releasable fastening mechanism may be part of the unitary piece. The releasable fastening mechanism may include mechanical couplers, latching tabs, magnetic members, Velcro strips, or the like. The side-opening panel may be transparent or include a transparent portion attached to an opaque frame. The transparent panel may include a decorative pattern.
