A first inner shield flap is coupled to the front wall panel, a second inner shield flap is coupled to the back wall panel, and a first top flap is coupled to the first side wall panel. The first top flap defines a first handhold opening. A second top flap is coupled to the second side wall panel and defines a second handhold opening. The first and second handhold openings overlap to define a handhold when the second top flap is folded over the first top flap. The handhold is offset from free ends of the first and second inner shield flaps.

Abstract: A shelf-ready shipper display system having a tray portion, a hood portion, and one or more zones of weakness that enable the hood portion to be separated from the tray portion so that the shipper display system can be converted from a shipping configuration to a display configuration. In certain embodiments, the shipper display system is made from a single blank. In some embodiments, the shipper display system includes a reinforcement panel that is also capable of being separated from the tray portion as the shipper display system is converted from the shipping configuration and to the display configuration.

The pair of flaps each have flap notches. The flap notches provide a gap between a top panel flange and a front panel of the dispenser carton. The pair of locking tabs are received into flap apertures of the pair of flaps. A pair of triangular gaps separate a portion of a back panel of the dispenser carton from left and right side panels to bias the pair of locking tabs against stops of the pair of flaps. A bottom panel of the dispenser carton includes a bottom aperture.

Abstract: A method of forming a box is discussed. A sheet of foldable material has a central region and tabs extending from the central region around its perimeter. Each tab includes a first fold line at the central region, and second and third spaced apart fold lines parallel to the first fold line. A reinforcement ring has a perimeter corresponding to the perimeter of the central region and a thickness greater than a thickness of the sheet. The reinforcement ring is disposed on the central region. Each tab is folded along the first fold line to extend transversely to the central region against the reinforcement ring, along the second fold line to extend inwardly over the reinforcement ring, and along the third fold line to extend transversely to the central region against the reinforcement ring. The tabs folded around the reinforcement ring define side wall(s) of the box.

The packaging apparatus includes a clam-shell style box including a main section and a cover section. The main section and the cover section are connected by a rear hinge panel. The main section includes a bottom panel, a left panel, a right panel and a front panel interconnected by fold lines. The cover section includes a top panel, a left panel, a right panel and a front panel interconnected by fold lines. The rear hinge panel is connected to the bottom panel at a lower fold line and is connected to the top panel at an upper fold line. Flaps of the front panel are adhesively bonded to the left and right panels. Angled perforations allow portions of the front panel to be folded down with the left and right panels when the box is moved to the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A lunch box includes a main body having a bottom portion, two side portions, a front portion and a back portion to define a receiving space, and a cover that covers upper portion of the main body extending from the back portion. Two side portions extend from bottom part of the junction of the front portion and back portion to form first shaping lines, and a retracting portion is formed between two side portions and two first shaping lines, and an expanding portion is formed at the junction of first shaping lines and the front portion. When the cover is bended down to cover the main body, the front portion is restored when the retracting portion rebounds, and the expanding portion is outwardly against the junction of the front cover and side covers to form a restricting position, so the box can be closed securely without external securing components.

Abstract: There is herein described a disposable clamshell food service package which includes a novel flex-hinge panel between the lid and bottom of the package. This construction permits the package to open easily when the lid is pushed upwardly resulting in a flat tray like configuration devoid of the typical upstanding wall or divider and which may be used as a serving plate by the consumer. The container may be easily snapped closed and locked to allow later consumption of any uneaten food products.

In other embodiments, the mechanism includes tabs and slots for retaining the lid in the closed position. Other embodiments include a combination of these features. The container may be a cardboard box.

Abstract: A confectionery container (10) has a main body (12) defining an inner volume in which articles can be held. A closure member or lid (14) is pivotably attached to the main body for movement between an open position in which articles within the inner volume can be dispensed and a closed position in which the articles are retained within the container. To assist the user in opening and closing the container, an over-center mechanism (34) is provided which is configured to bias the lid (14) towards the open and closed positions. The container (10) is preferably formed from a unitary blank of foldable material (48) and the over-center mechanism may comprise two co-operating panels (36, 40) connected between the main body (12) and the lid (14). A blank (48) for forming the container and a method of dispensing articles from the container are also disclosed.

The carton comprises a center panel, foldable end panels, foldable side panels, and foldable corner panels. A pair of diametrically opposed corner panels are folded inwardly into contact with opposed end panels. The end panels comprise rectangular cutout holes surrounding foldable flaps. The lid has a central panel that is divided from integral end panels and integral side panels. A lid side panel extending vertically downwardly is coupled to the carton. Lid end panels have elliptical orifices that register with carton cutout regions and adjoining slots that align with handle anchor orifices. An alternative lid has flaps comprising major and minor segments separated by a diagonal fold line. The minor segment has an apex that releasably biases the flap in engagement with the end panel, yieldably locking the lid.

Abstract: This invention is a box with safety locks on its lid and an integrated cardholder for storing documents. The reinforced filing box with safety lock on the lid and integrated cardholder is designed in such a way as to be assembled from a one-piece template of any laminated material, without having to staple, glue or otherwise join it, which provides resistance to the load placed upon it, according to the needs of the use to be fulfilled. The box can be assembled with fewer sides if necessary. Said box has safety locks that once shut will not let the lid remain open, thus providing maximum protection against the entrance of dust or pests. This box has no incision on the inside that passes to the outside, including the incision for the handles, and it also has a protective flange so as not to damage one's fingers, which allows for the documents to be safe from external agents that may damage them.

Abstract: The present invention includes a blank and container formed of cellulose-based materials configured to form a triangular shaped container. The container includes a triangular shaped bottom panel, side walls and a rear wall that define a first triangular volume. The top panel and second side panels generally form a second triangular volume that is slightly larger than the first triangular volume. The second triangular volume is configured to fold over the first triangular volume such that the top panel and second side panels fully enclose the bottom panel and the first side panels. The container is locked by a friction fit between juxtaposed tabs inserted into a slot located between the ends of the intersecting first side panels.

The present invention includes a blank constructed from a single sheet of foldable material cut and scored to define a bottom panel, a top panel, a front panel and a back panel. Additionally, the blank includes pairs of opposed bottom flaps, top flaps, front flaps and back flaps. A front flap tab is attached to each front flap along a front flap perforation line. A relief slot is formed between the front panel and each of the front flap tabs. The relief slots are arranged in an intersecting relationship with the front flap perforation lines. A manufacture flap is hingedly attached to the bottom panel. Opposed manufacture tabs are attached to the manufacture flap. The width of the manufacture flaps is no greater than the width of the front flap tab.

The carton is formed with four sides which define inner dimensions substantially coincident with the dimensions of the paper sheets to be stored therein, with one side being hingedly connected to the bottom of the carton which allows for rotation thereof and access to the stack of loose paper sheets from a point adjacent the hinged side. The container limits the exposure of moisture to the paper sheets stored therein with a moisture resistant coating being disposed on the inner surfaces thereof, special slots, and an adhesive tape being provided for ensuring a tight securement between the lid and the carton. Abstract: The present invention provides for an improved telescoping container, which is set up and collapsed flat quickly and easily, and is provided to the user in one integral piece, eliminating the necessity of a lid being assembled or maintained separately. An integral lid provides an improved amount of cushioning and strength, and does not enter the cubic volume of the container and thus reduce available storage space. In one embodiment of the invention the container gains strength from a double glued seam, having opposing edges sealed to one another with two tabs; alternatively one of the two tabs is sealed. The container sets up by having an inner portion telescope into an outer portion, and may be collapsed flat by pulling the inner portion back out of the outer portion. In one embodiment the ease of set up is further improved by forming the lid from a continuous sheet of material, so that the lid may be closed in one motion, rather than the sequence of steps required with other lids.

An internal collar is integrally formed with the front top minor flap. The internal collar is disposed within the carton when the carton is in the sealed form. The internal collar includes a front panel and opposing first and second side panels adjacent to the respective front wall and the opposing first and second side walls of the carton. The front panel of the internal collar is detachably connected to the front top minor flap along at least one horizontal fold line.

Abstract: A multi-compartment box comprising a compartment portion including two compartments with a divider therebetween, and a lid connected to the compartment portion by a hinge. The divider between the two compartments is arranged substantially normal to the hinge which connects the lid to the compartment portion of the box. Abstract: A slide-latch for use on a container having a storage tray and a closing lid. The latch comprises a generally J-shaped body terminating in a hook portion, and having an elongate ovoid slot running therethrough. The latch is mounted to said lid on an elongate rod located within the slot. The rod in turn is mounted to said lid. The latch is slidably operable between a closed position wherein the hook portion secures the lid to the storage tray, and an open position wherein the lid is separable from the storage tray. A cam surface between the underside of the latch and the top surface of the lid locks the latch in a closed position.

First and second back major flaps extend from opposing ends of the back wall. First and second wing flaps extend from opposing ends of the front inner panel. First and second front major flaps extend from opposing ends of the front outer panel. The first and second front major flaps and the front outer panel including a continuous horizontal tear strip for opening up the carton from a sealed form to form a lid hingedly attached to a base section.
