Abstract: A variable and regulated animal scent dispenser that allows a hunter or tracker to dispense discrete and variable amounts of animal or other scent in a continuous manner while walking through a forest or field. The lower part of the device is attached to the underside of a hunter's boot; the upper part of the device is clipped on to the top of the hunter's boot. As the hunter walks through the woods, the sole of his boot presses down on the compressible bladder, thereby sending air through a rubber or plastic tube to a manifold. Depending on the position of the manifold/regulator switch, the compressed air either bypasses a scent receptacle or enters the scent receptacle. If the compressed air enters the scent receptacle, it picks up particles of scent and transports them out the discharge tube and ultimately to the atomizer at the end of the tube. Scent is then dispersed through the atomizer onto the ground. This allows for a fairly continuous stream of scent.

Abstract: A liquid chemical dispenser for an irrigation system comprises a removable supply container for the chemical which, in a first embodiment, comprises a valve for preventing spillage of the chemical during attachment of the container to the dispenser. This feature allows the container to be mounted in an inverted position on the dispenser without loss of its contents. In a second embodiment, the chemical container comprises a membrane which is pierced by a dip tube when the container is attached to the dispenser. A section of the dip tube produces an annular vent passage in the membrane around the dip tube to provide vacuum relief. The configuration of the containers substantially reduces the chance of inadvertent contact with the contents and the simple design permits the containers to be disposable.

Abstract: A tee valve includes a primary conduit configured to be connected to a water flow conduit. It includes an outflow tube that collects a portion of the water flow and directs it toward a fertilizer feeder along a secondary water flow path. An inflow tube connects to the primary conduit downstream from the outflow pipe to return the secondary water flow to the primary water flow path, with the secondary water flow return water now including a concentration of fertilizer or other water additive. In this fashion, any irrigation system can be used as a combination fertilizer delivery system.

  • Patent number: 7213773
Abstract: A nozzle spray assembly for insecticide that can be readily connected to an outlet pipe of an air blower to conveniently spray an area free of insects. The assembly is fully portable and made of two halves that define nozzle openings that may or may not be adjustable. The high pressure air flowing past the nozzle openings draws insecticide from a container through the spray assembly and nozzle openings. The fluid sucked out of the nozzle openings is sheared across the upper surfaces of the nozzle openings and turned into micro-droplets and dispersed into the air from the blower, creating a mist flow that can be directed to the area of treatment. The assembly is provided with adjustable means for connecting it to various sizes of pipe. The assembly is portable or compact, highly effective and can be used with readily available equipment.
