Abstract: A fluid container spray device having a trigger lock mechanism with trigger tabs extending outwardly from the trigger and cleats extending inwardly from a moveable shroud. The cleats obstruct the tabs when the shroud is in a trigger lock position. A lever extending from beneath the shroud can be depressed, thereby moving the shroud from the trigger lock position to a trigger release position. The movement of the shroud to the trigger release position moves the connected cleats from their obstructive position to a position out of the trigger tabs' path of movement, thereby permitting use of the trigger to pump fluid from the container. The shroud is biased toward the trigger lock position. Thus, release of the container by the user restores the locked configuration, thereby preventing use by children.

Foam insulation material is disposed in the protruding rib. The rear wall component has a first wall panel and a second wall panel spaced from the first wall panel. The first and second wall panel cooperatively define an air passageway configured for containing an evaporator. The base and second wall panel at least partially define a product display area. A spray nozzle is disposed within the air passageway and configured to spray fluid onto the evaporator. A portion of tubing fluidly couples the spray nozzle to a supply of water. The portion of tubing is disposed within the foam insulation material.

Abstract: A liquid spray head (10) e.g. to spray liquid for dust control or watering. The spray head has a body (11), an inlet (12) for receiving the liquid to be sprayed, a spray outlet, and at least one adjuster (15,16,17,18) arranged to adjust size and/or position of the outlet aperture such that a width or position of the aperture is variable, or both the width and position of the aperture are variable, relative to the body, to thereby deliver a desired rate, pattern or direction of liquid spray through the aperture. The adjuster can be ram (17,18) actuated controlling two coaxially aligned collar assemblies (15,16) with left and right adjusting leaves (25,26). A depth actuator works an outer body cover (24) to adjust vertical height of the outlet aperture. Spray aperture size and/or direction can be controlled based on vehicle speed and desired spray pattern/direction.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a multi-spindle spray nozzle assembly for a steam desuperheating or attemperator device. The nozzle assembly features a nozzle holder which accommodates two small, spring-loaded nozzles, each of which is adapted to produce a spray pattern of reduced cone angle (e.g., approximately 60°) in comparison to currently know nozzle designs. The two nozzles are positioned within the nozzle holder such that they diverge from the axis thereof as allows the spray pattern generated thereby to be effectively tilted into the flow of steam within a desuperheating device having the nozzle assembly interfaced thereto.

Abstract: Dispensing devices can include buffers. This obviates the need for continually pumping the device to dispense spray or foam. A buffer can be spring loaded, spring loaded combination, elastomeric or gas, and can be in line or adjacent to a piston chamber. Such sprayers and foamers can be mounted upside down. With a buffer, a piston chamber can deliver a greater amount of liquid per unit time than can be dispensed through the nozzle(s). The fraction of liquid that cannot be dispensed can be sent to the buffer for dispensing after the piston downstroke has completed. Volume of the piston chamber and buffer, pressure response of the buffer, throughput of the nozzle, and the minimum opening pressure of the outlet valve can be arranged to restrict the outlet pressures of liquid droplets exiting the nozzle within a defined range.
