  • Patent number: 9803801
Abstract: A system for dispensing lubricant in a stream of cool air to a work piece and a machine tool. A source of lubricant and cool air are coupled to a stationary coupler. A rotating turret includes a plurality of machine tools mounted thereon and the plurality of rotating couplers mounted thereon. Each machine tool is associated with or coupled to one of the rotating couplers. The turret rotates so that a rotating coupler is in abutting engagement with the stationary coupler. Lubricant and cool air pass through the stationary coupler to the rotating coupler, which delivers the lubricant and cool air to a nozzle that is directed at the machine tool associated with the rotating coupler.

Abstract: A safe portable sprayer comprising a reservoir for storing clean water that can be carried on the back or attached the shoulders, including a large nozzle on the upper face thereof, a small nozzle with a water pump adapted thereto, and a small neck that is provided with a cap. The cap is screwed on the nozzle, and includes a recipient that fits into the nozzle. The cap is provided with vertical holes that pass through a channel. The holes are provided with inner threads for receiving corresponding valves having lower tapered ends. Inside the recipient, flexible containers of chemicals are attached to the holes; the containers are kept immersed and compressed by water inside the recipient from the pump, such that the pressure generated by the water impels the water and chemical toward the channel of the cap, and to the spraying gun through the pipe.

  • Patent number: 9022303
Abstract: A fuel injection valve co-injects a liquid and a gaseous fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. A solid needle regulates the injection of liquid and gaseous fuels from a cavity in the fuel injection valve into the combustion chamber when the needle is lifted to its open position. In preferred embodiments, liquid fuel is metered and pressurized in an intensifier's cylinder provided within the valve body and the liquid fuel is delivered through a restricted flow passage into the cavity where it mixes with the gaseous fuel. The restricted flow passage can be formed by a small passage formed in the valve body or an annular passage between the needle and the valve body.

  • Publication number: 20140263750
Abstract: A dual, variable volume hot melt adhesive dispensing nozzle or die assembly is provided with a pair of choke slots within a first fluid control plate. The provision of the choke slots within the first fluid control plate effectively restricts and retards the flow of the fluid through such choke slots whereby volumes of the fluids are effectively built up and stored upstream of the choke slots so as to effectively delay the reaction of pressure spikes upon the fluid flows under both positive and negative conditions. This buildup in pressure and volume is then dispensed over time so as to cause the fluid flow to smoothly transition between positive and negative spiked fluid flow conditions and normal fluid flow conditions. Accordingly, the pressure spikes do not adversely affect the resulting fluid flows whereby, for example, under conventional negative pressure spike conditions, gaps in the dispensed hot melt adhesive would otherwise occur.

  • Patent number: 8807462
Abstract: A two component spray gun with low/high flow rates allows the operator to spray in confined areas at lower flow without having to change the mix module. The lower flow reduces undesirable “spray back” and will also help reduce material waste. Pneumatic piston 12 travel, which determines on/off fluid flow, can be selected on the fly to either close the fluid ports 14 which stops fluid flow, partially open the fluid ports 14 which limits fluid flow, or to fully open the fluid ports 14 to allow for maximum flow. Pneumatic piston 12 travel can be limited by means of a simple multi-position mechanical stop plunger 16. The stop bar 22 can be connected to a knob 18 or other operator input and turned or adjusted to the desired position.

  • Patent number: 7438238
Abstract: The injector includes a nozzle, a needle, a control chamber, a working fluid supply passage, an electric switching valve, a high-pressure gaseous fuel supply passage and a lubrication liquid fuel supply passage. The nozzle has an injection hole, through which high-pressure gaseous fuel is injected. The needle is axially reciprocably received in the nozzle to open and close the injection hole. The needle includes a sliding portion and a valve portion. The control chamber applies a pressure to the needle. The working fluid supply passage supplies liquid fuel to the control chamber. The electric switching valve controls an inflow/outflow of the liquid fuel to/from the control chamber. The high-pressure gaseous fuel supply passage supplies the high-pressure gaseous fuel to the injection hole. The lubrication liquid fuel supply passage supplies the liquid fuel from the working fluid supply passage to the sliding portion and the valve portion.

  • Patent number: 7118049
Abstract: A hose-end sprayer has a selectively rotatable rotary valve received within the transverse bore of a housing which includes a carrier liquid inlet passage, a chemical liquid inlet passage and a discharge passage. The valve has a carrier liquid duct and a chemical liquid duct opening into the carrier duct for interconnecting the inlet passage in a first rotative position of the valve, and the valve is capable of closing the inlet passages in a second rotative position of the valve. The rotary valve is selectively rotatable in a third position for interconnecting the liquid passage only with the discharge passage in a rinse position of the valve. Container venting is isolated from a valve chamber in which the rotary valve operates to avoid entry of carrier liquid into the container through the open vent in the ON position of the valve upon its selective rotation.
