Patent number: 9726307Abstract: An orifice holder assembly provides a boss connected by at least one arm to a base having an outlet therethrough. The boss is provided below the outlet. A tube is inserted through the boss until a bead contacts a first boss surface and the tube end is then deflected to form a lip where the lip and the bead connects the tube to the boss. An orifice body is then inserted in the tube end.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2015Date of Patent: August 8, 2017Assignee: Burner Systems International, Inc.Inventors: Tim Frost, Tony Byron Leeseberg

Patent number: 8800887Abstract: A system for agricultural spraying including a solution reservoir and primary pump for delivering fluid to a plurality of laterally spaced nozzles interconnected by supply conduits. A chemical reservoir and chemical injection pump are interconnected to the output of the primary pump through a mixer. Controllers for the primary pump and chemical injection pump are coordinated to run the pumps a predetermined time to fill each of the supply conduits from the chemical injection pump and primary pump so as to automatically prime the injection system.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2011Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Michael L. Patent number: 7905428Abstract: A sprayer has a sprayer outlet and a pressurizable reservoir adapted to contain a fluid. The reservoir has an air-pressure outlet and a reservoir outlet, the reservoir outlet being in fluid connection with the sprayer outlet. Detachable, pressurizable tanks are adapted to contain a chemical, each tank having a chemical outlet and an air-pressure inlet. Each air-pressure inlet is in fluid connection with the air-pressure outlet of the reservoir for equalizing air pressure between the reservoir and each tank. A switch is adjustable between a plurality of settings for causing at least one of the chemical outlets to be in fluid connection with the sprayer outlet. A ratio valve is provided for selecting a fluid flow rate out of the selected outlet. Fluids flowing into the sprayer outlet from the outlets are mixed together prior to discharge from the sprayer outlet.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2005Date of Patent: March 15, 2011Inventor: Max A. Patent number: 7478766Abstract: A portable, battery-powered sprayer for dispensing two liquid products at the same time. A reservoir cartridge having two liquid chambers is removably installable in a reciprocating bay in the housing. First and second mating pairs of fluid connectors each have a component mounted on the cartridge and a component mounted in the housing. A cam on a pivotable lever causes the bay to move the fluid connector components into and out of engagement. The fluid connector components permit fluid flow when they are joined and prevent it when they are separated. A support beam locks the housing components of the fluid connectors in fixed relation to one another. A guide strip locks the cartridge components in the same fixed relation to one another. A docking station in the bay locates the guide strip.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2005Date of Patent: January 20, 2009Assignee: Clarke Consumer Products, Inc.Inventors: J. Lyell Clarke, III, Daniel K. Childs, Gregory J. Holderfield

Patent number: 7267288Abstract: A sprayable polymeric material and a process for preparing the material which contains a fibrous material, dispersed throughout the polymeric material. A restriction free spray nozzle is provided for mixing and spraying the polymeric material having a fibrous material, the nozzle having a restriction free check valve. A reinforced structure, and a method of making the structure are provided, the structure having layers of the polymeric material (both film and foam) containing the fibrous material. A flexible liner is provided of a porous geotextile fabric and a polyurethane composition comprising the fibrous material sprayed over the geotextile fabric.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2001Date of Patent: September 11, 2007Assignee: Nevada Supply CorporationInventors: Henry H. Wheeler, Jr., Corland Crandal, Hugh Wheeler, III

Patent number: 7178743Abstract: A portable, battery-powered sprayer for dispensing two liquid products at the same time includes first and second nozzles which receive first and second liquids and first and second air supplies. The nozzles are arranged to dispense the liquids at different flow rates, with different droplet sizes, and into different target zones. A low battery sensor prevents operation when the batteries have insufficient power to produce the intended flow rates and droplet sizes.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2004Date of Patent: February 20, 2007Assignee: Clarke Consumer Products, Inc.Inventors: J. Lyell Clarke, III, Anthony Kevin Magro, Daniel K. Childs, Julie Bates

Patent number: 6688882Abstract: A gas burner forces a premixing of the incoming gas with ambient air by moving the front face of the gas orifice upstream from the normal location and spacing it from the front face of the venturi portion of the burner. The premix air is pulled through the gap formed thereby and enters the venturi section with the gas via a central opening. Primary mixing air flows through separate opening(s). Both the gas and the premix air flow through the central opening, and the premix air at least partially combines with the gas before the primary air combines with the gas in the venturi. The combination of the gas, the premix air, and the primary air the routed to the output ports for combustion. Such a burner combusts the gas with an efficiency factor of at least forty-five, and optionally at a rate of at least 30,000 Btu/hr.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2002Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Middleby-Marshall, Inc.Inventor: Rafé Tierra Williams
