The belt includes a strap having a plurality of belt strap abutment portions configured to engage at least one buckle abutment portion of a corresponding buckle to prevent the strap from being inadvertently loosened. Preferably, the buckle abutment portion(s) is fixed and does not move. The belt strap includes an inadvertent disengagement prevention member (“IDPM”) for preventing a corresponding belt strap abutment portion from inadvertently disengaging from the at least one buckle abutment portion of the belt buckle to prevent the inadvertent loosening of the adjustable belt strap when worn. The IDPM can take the form of one, two or more metal strips or plates. Preferably, one or more metal strips has a length no greater than 12?, width of 0.5? and thickness of 0.007?. The metal strips may be removable.

Integrally formed first and second elongate walls define at least part of the passageway and first and second grip portions for gripping the strap. The second wall is mounted for rotation about a transverse axis so as to move the grip portion of the second wall toward or away from the first grip portion.

Abstract: A load-carrying fastener with rapid attachment and detachment and safety lock mechanisms is applicable to an attachable holder for a MOLLE accessory and includes a fastener base; a pivotable locking plate pivotally connectable with the fastener base; and a lock-release key flippable to keep the fastener base and pivotable locking plate in an interlocked or released state. Two lateral sides of the fastener base are formed with elastic arms extending outward to form locking arms with locking hooks. The pivotable locking plate is formed with two locking holes allowing the locking arms to be inserted therein and the locking hooks to hook the edges thereof when being closed on the fastener base, so as to enter into a locked state, and be brought with the fastener base into an unlocked state by disengaging the locking hooks from the hole edges when the elastic arms are pressed.

Abstract: A securing device that allows adjustable securing of a face mask, face shield or goggles to a wearer's head is formed from a first portion having a strap, a first end with a securing button and a connecting element, and a second portion having a strap, a first end with a securing button and a connecting receptacle for interacting with the connecting element to connect the two straps together. The securing buttons are formed from a top plate connected to a bottom plate via a connecting leg having a cross section with an acute angle. The bottom plate has slits extending from an outer edge to the connecting leg on both sides of the acute angle, such that a cord is securable to the securing button by inserting the cord into one of the slits, wrapping the cord around the acute angle of the connecting leg and exiting from the other of the slits.

The first pulley block having a proximal end and a distal end, the distal end having two pulleys arranged side-by-side. The second pulley block having a proximal end and a distal end, the distal end of the second pulley having two pulleys arranged side-by-side. A first strap having a first end coupled to a first hook and the second end is coupled to a proximal end of the first pulley block. A second strap having a second hook at one end and the other end can be inserted into the second block pulley through its proximal end. The free end loops around the pulleys of the two pulley blocks and exits from the first pulley block. The free end of the second strap is having a handle.

In the inactive state the ratcheting is disabled and the belt is released. The HB-II is controlled by the lever's position. After fastening, the belt remains fastened until the HB-II is switched manually into inactive state by moving the lever. The blade's smooth side and channel's smooth surfaces minimize belt wear.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to adjustable closure devices. One embodiment has a strap, a connector attached to a strap end, a chafe mounted on the strap behind the connector, and a hinged handle on the chafe. The chafe has a two outer bars and a central bar, these bars defining strap through-paths. The strap end-region has path segments arranged, directionally from the strap's central region toward the strap end at the chafe, or, in embodiments that configure the strap as a pulley, at the connector. An adjustable length region of the strap spans between the chafe and the connector. An elevatable handle configuration allows a user to pull the chafe to which it is connected along the strap, away from connector. As the chafe moves along the strap, the strap can transition between a large circumference configuration and small circumference. Some embodiments have a strap friction-locking mechanism associated with the handle and the chafe.

Abstract: Disclosed is a ratchet strap and buckle assembly comprising an adjustment ratchet strap comprising a ratchet strap end, and a plurality of ratchet teeth arranged thereon and a single-piece buckle having a locking tooth and a flexible top element, wherein the single-piece buckle comprises a passageway for the ratchet strap end to be inserted therein, and wherein the flexible top element is configured to engage with at least one of the plurality of ratchet teeth using the locking tooth upon insertion.

Abstract: The Lace Ratchet System (LRS) is a parallel configuration of two Lace Ratchet Devices (LRD) which facilitate two laces fastening. The LRD has two states: “active” and “inactive”. In the active state the device works as unidirectional lace ratchet allowing the lace to be pulled forwards but restricting any lace motion backwards. After fastening the lace remains fastened until the LRD is switched into inactive state by manually releasing a latch. Each LRD has a turning gate rotatably installed diagonally in a channel with a sharp metallic front end. A resilient plate serves as preloaded spring that keeps the LRD in active position when the spring is not released. The LRD's smooth front end side and smooth channels' floors minimize lace wear. The LRS can be coupled with a clamp which clamps the laces' front ends to prevent dangling. The entire LRS except the blades is made of plastic.

Abstract: A belt buckle has a main body, a rotatable shaft assembly, an elastic member and a controlling member. The main body has a front piece and two side pieces paired and connected with each other. A shaft rod and a stopping portion and an arced edge are formed on the side piece. The elastic member is provided inside the rotatable shaft assembly and is pivoted together on the shaft rod. The controlling member uses its controlling ends to be pivoted on the shaft rod. When the toothed portion is pushed to rotate the rotatable shaft assembly, the engaging bar of the rotatable shaft assembly can slide along the arced edge of the side piece. At this time, the controlling end of the controlling member is not linked by the engaging bar, the controlling member can be fixed in place when the belt is penetrated.

Abstract: A belt attachment assembly, belt buckle, and flag football belt are each disclosed. The belt attachment assembly includes a belt attachment member having a first connector, and a flag attachment assembly having a second connector. One of the first and second connectors includes a protrusion, and the other of the first and second connectors includes a receptacle sized to receive the protrusion. When the protrusion is received into the receptacle, a magnetic force retains the protrusion in the receptacle. The belt buckle includes opposing first and second sidewalls, a support member extending between and fixed relative to the sidewalls, and a tongue that pivots with respect to the sidewalls between an open position and a closed position. The belt buckle provides a belt path that in the closed position extends from a belt-accepting end of the belt to a first portion and then to a second portion.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to belt buckles and more particularly to belt buckles that have associated with the face or ‘front thereof interchangeable initials, letters or other design. The working mechanics of the buckle is different than any other in the market. The said Buckle has a holding mechanism that won't damage the belt strap because the material that it uses it as explained throughout this patent application. The invention is based to facilitate the user for opening and closing of the belt. Moreover, the said Buckle allows what no any other Buckle allows and is for the strap to pass underneath of the fix portion of the strap, the result is the need not to the strap to be cut to the size of the waist of every individual. I will describe this as unique in today's dress belt market.

Abstract: Cable lacing tie devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. The cable lacing tie devices include a head assembly and a cable lacing tape. The head assembly being configured to retain a first portion of the cable lacing tape within the head assembly and having a length of the cable lacing tape extending from the head assembly. The head assembly further adapted to retain a second portion of the cable lacing tape extending from the head assembly. The methods of using the cable lacing tie devices to hold together a plurality of objects with a cable lacing tie device include retaining a first portion of a cable lacing tape in a head assembly, looping the cable lacing tape around the plurality of objects and retaining a second portion of the cable lacing tape within the head assembly.

Abstract: An adaptable buckle system that can be secured to a loop in a strap or cable to replace a broken buckle or add a buckle. The present invention includes two component members, a male connector and a female connector, which removably engage to form a fastening buckle. Both components have an interlocking side-release mechanism at the end opposing the connector. The interlocking side-release mechanism comprises a receiver on one side of the component member configured to receive a prong extending from the free end of a flexible arm pivotally affixed to the other side of the component member. The flexible arm may be fed through a loop in a strap or cable. Ridges that line the inner surface of the prong and inner wall of the receiver cause a cross-biting action that secures the prong in place. The prong is released when the arm is twisted thereby rotating the prong.

Abstract: A decorative ornament has a disc shaped plate member which is configured to fit into the top slit pocket opening of a “penny loafer” type shoe or an accessory with a similar opening. An extendable clasp is secured to the plate member. One or more decorative charms, each having a ring shaped section, are positioned around the crosspiece and extension member of the clasp. The decorative section of the charm hangs down from the clasp and extends over the upper surface of the shoe or accessory.

Abstract: An apparatus including a combined strap-length adjuster and strap keeper is disclosed for use with multiple embodiments of a strap-length adjuster. A tether is used in combination with the strap keeper. The arrangement allows the tether to not interfere with the positioning or movement of the straps and maintains the straps close to the strap-length adjuster and prevents slippage of the strap through the strap-length adjuster.

Abstract: A ratchet belt system comprises a belt having a notch strip extending along a portion of the length thereof The notch strip is formed of a plurality of adjacent notches, each being configured to engage a ratcheting tab of an associated buckle. One locking mechanism is a level moving buckle including a top member, a locking member and a base member. The level moving buckle inhibits accidental longitudinal movement of the inserted strap when the top member is in a locked position.

Abstract: In a cam lock buckle, a slide mechanism holds a movable member so that the movable member can slide between a first position at which a shaft is located close to a first end of an elongated hole and a second position at which the shaft is located close to a second end of the elongated hole. A gap defined between a holding portion and a bottom portion when the movable member is slid to the second position is narrower than a gap defined between the holding portion and the bottom portion when the movable member is slid to the first position. One of the holding portion and the bottom portion facing the holding portion is provided with a concave groove and the other of the holding portion and the bottom portion is provided with a convex tread that pushes a part of the belt into the concave groove.

The buckle includes: a buckle main body composed of a base plate and a roof frame, and two side plates connecting the base plate and the roof frame; and an operation piece being installed inside the roof frame, and having the engagement claw that can be engaged with the engagement groove of the band. The operation piece is movably supported by a connecting shaft connecting the two side plates in an intermediate point. The buckle main body is provided with a control piece for controlling a swing of the operation piece. The engagement claw is engaged with the engagement groove of the band, and the control piece functions as a spring for biasing the engagement claw toward the engagement groove side in such a locked state.

The camming door structure is mounted transverse to the threading direction of the webbing segments and rotates about an axis generally aligned with the threading direction of the webbing segments. Upon closing the hinging door structure, the camming ear portion engages the webbing segments in a compressing manner thereby blocking relative sliding action with the webbing clamp.

Abstract: A webbing securing device comprises a main body having two side arms, a first end, a second end, a cavity between the side arms and a cord securing mechanism. There is a releasable central arm connected to the main body adjacent the first end and an elastic cord connected to the second end. The elastic cord is adapted to be secured on the cord securing mechanism, and is dimensioned so that the cord must be stretched in order to be secured on the cord securing mechanism. A length of webbing is secured in the device by feeding a loop of webbing in between the side arms and over the central arm, or over the side arms and underneath the central arm, and securing the elastic cord on the cord securing mechanism, so that the webbing is secured between the side arms and the central arm.

Abstract: Provided is a safety directional indicator to improve highway safety. Embodiments of the invention include devices for guiding a driver of a vehicle in a desired direction, typically away from highway workers, pedestrians, curbs, and opposing lanes of traffic. Specifically included is a safety directional indicator system comprising a flexible belt with a plurality of light transmitting bars disposed along the belt and having a plurality of LEDs disposed at one elongated end of each light transmitting bar and in operable communication with a control system for illuminating the LEDs in a manner to indicate a direction for traffic. Safety devices according to the invention can be stand-alone devices, devices capable of being attached to objects or structures at a highway scene, or configured to be worn on a person's body. An object of the safety devices according to embodiments of the invention is to increase driver awareness of highway situations especially during conditions of restricted visibility.

Abstract: An improved seatbelt adjuster for holding the lap seatbelt to the shoulder belt of an automobile seatbelt. The seatbelt adjuster prevents the shoulder belt from rubbing against the neck of a wearer. The adjuster is made of a single unitary piece and therefore cannot be separated. A frame member formed of resilient material has a front portion, rear portion, top edge, bottom edge and space between the front and back portions for containing the lap seatbelt. A parallel pair of dual gussets and rails is molded into the back portion to increase the stiffness of the flap member particularly to prevent it spreading open in hot weather. A snap clip has been added to the flap to avoid inadvertent release in hot weather. A horn gate has been added to the slot to prevent snagging on clothing.

Abstract: A separately operating cargo strap collector for use with a ratchet-buckle assembly of known construction having longer and shorter straps and a ratchet-buckle. The strap collector includes sidewalls connected to upper and lower walls forming a channel through which the longer strap passes with a clamp in the channel for attaching the strap collector to the longer strap. The sidewalls and upper wall forming a magazine for folds of excess longer strap after the longer strap is tightened by the ratchet-buckle. A pair of lever arms are journaled in the sidewalls with a finger for clamping the folds of excess strap against the bottom wall of the magazine.

The buckle includes a buckle body, and an operating plate disposed above a bottom plate and including an engagement claw projecting toward the bottom plate to engage one of the engagement grooves of the belt. The buckle body further includes restricting members projecting inwardly from two side plates thereof, and the operating plate includes recessed portions for receiving the restricting members therein without connecting thereto to prevent an accidental pressing force from being applied in a vertical direction to the operating plate.

Abstract: A side buckle of swimming goggles is approximately formed into a strip shape. The side buckle has a retaining clip and a retaining groove respectively at two ends thereof. The retaining clip has two shaft rods and a step-shaped urging portion. The retaining groove has two shaft holes and a belt hole. A connecting portion is formed between the retaining clip and the retaining groove. The retaining clip and the retaining groove may be locked to each other after the connecting portion is bent. Thereby, the side buckle of swimming goggles is fitted at side edges of a pair of swimming goggles and connected to a belt. The connecting portion is pressed to trigger the operation of the retaining clip to loosen or fasten the belt, so as to quickly adjust a length of the belt.

Abstract: A buckle that includes a catch, a buckle housing and at least one pawl is provided. The catch has a manipulation end and a lead end. The lead end has at least one shoulder that has at least one tooth. The at least one pawl has a manipulation portion and an engaging portion. The manipulation portion is configured and arranged to allow a manipulation force to rotate the at least one pawl in relation to the buckle housing. The engaging portion of the at least one pawl includes an engaging edge configured and arranged to selectively engage the at least one shoulder of the catch. The engaging edge includes at least one notch. Moreover, the at least one tooth of the at least one shoulder of the catch is selectively received in the at least one notch of the engaging edge of the at least one pawl.

Abstract: A buckle set, two of which pair off for being inset in frame of the swimming goggles on two sides so that a strap can be inserted in the buckle sets for fastening the swimming goggles on user's face. Structure of the present invention features a 2nd bump, which keeps the buckle in effective spacing even when the buckle is loaded with force and thus keeping the buckle well covered by the buckle hood.
