In this position, the clip is easily slipped over the fabric edge of a pocket without applying any force to the fabric. Resilient plastic tabs, extending forwardly from the mounting clips, allow the device to be mounted on a variety of label holder configurations, where the label holders have a downwardly projecting lower edge margin to be received in the mounting clip. The pager caddy is pinned to clothing in whatever location the user deems appropriate eliminating the traditional belt mounting. The present invention provides a socket retaining mechanism, preferably adapted to be worn on a utility belt, wherein a plurality of socket retaining mechanisms are strung from the utility belt, with each socket retainer being adapted to hold a particular socket. Each socket retainer includes means for retaining a socket thereon, and means for releasing a socket therefrom when it is so desired by the worker. As opposed to prior art systems, the present system increases the efficiency of the worker in that less time is required for searching for the socket of interest.

The channel includes a plurality of longitudinal ridges located on the interior channel walls of the third leg and second leg. The second jaw may receive a pencil, pen or other elongated implement.

The take-up device receives a strap in a looped form and selectively retains the strap in a plurality of desired positions. The retaining member receives and retains the strap in its desired position without slippage by providing a unitary body defining a spring clip formed of an elongated sheet folded, at least twice, back onto itself to form at least two strap retaining passages. The spring clip is elastically deformable to allow each of the passages to expand to an open position to allow a strap to be disposed therein and contract to a closed position to frictionally retain the strap. The spring clip is spring biased to contract to the closed position. In the preferred embodiments of this invention, the spring clip takes the forms of a W-shaped or S-shaped design.
