The fashion accessory tool allows a piece of fabric to be secured to a garment and adjusted after it has been secured to the garment. The piece of fabric can be woven through the fashion accessory tool and then secured in the tool with deformable features. The fashion accessory tool can be pinned to a garment and the fabric can be adjusted and styled after the fashion accessory tool is pinned.

Abstract: A member mounting structure joins together a first member which has a first mounting hole and a second member which has a second mounting hole. The member mounting structure is configured in such a manner that a pin has a shaft section and a radial protrusion section which protrudes in the radial direction from the shaft section. A clip, which is formed by punching and press-forming a metallic plate and which is used to grip the first member, has: a first plate section which has formed therein a first insertion hole into which the shaft section of the pin is inserted; a second plate section which faces the first plate section; and a connection section which connects the first plate section and the second plate section.

A second fixing member is fixed to the mat. An operational mounting member is arranged to mount the second fixing member to the first fixing member. The first fixing member includes a supporting portion arranged to support the operational mounting member, and an engaging portion arranged to hold the second fixing member. The second fixing member includes a locked portion arranged to be locked on the operational mounting member, and an engaged portion arranged to be engaged with the engaging portion in a state where the second fixing member is mounted to the first fixing member by the operational mounting member.

Abstract: The assembly and release apparatus and method utilizes a C-shaped clip defining a channel and a smaller slot extending along the channel, both open at at least one end, attachable to a first location on a garment. A pin of the apparatus is slidably receivable in the channel through the open end to assemble the C-shaped clip and the pin together. The pin has a tab or strip that extends through the slot, for attaching the pin to a second location on the garment. The apparatus includes at least one detent element associated with one of the C-shaped clip and the pin, cooperatively engageable with the other of the C-shaped clip and the pin for retaining the pin in the channel, and releasable in a predetermined manner to allow slidably removing the pin from the channel through the open end, to provide a quiet and rapid manner of operation.

A biasing member connected to the first and second clamping members biases them toward their closed position. Abstract: The present invention is a retaining system for an automotive carpet, such as a floor mat. The system consists of a tapered pin; and two washers. The assembly process consists of snap-fitting a first washer over a separate decorative pin, or a tapered pin. The second washer is then snap-fitted into an annular channel formed between two tabs on the first washer. The completed assembly then secures an automotive carpet at an appropriate location.

Abstract: A releasable grip type fastener which utilizes torsion developed in the gripping member itself to provide gripping force, with the configuration of the gripping member arranged to provide a low profile fastening system with only two parts, a gripping member and a support surface. Conveniently, the fastener may be arranged to incorporate an integral secondary fastener, such as a pin and clasp type, which may be utilized simultaneosuly.

Abstract: Carpet engaging support devices for anchoring tippable or slidable objects in desired position on a carpeted floor, the devices having one or more sharpened prongs engagable through and under the carpet, with the prongs being arranged to hold the devices on the carpet against unwanted removal. Spring clips, detent means and magnetic means are provided for releasably securing the devices to the objects to be anchored. In one aspect of the invention, the devices are particularly suited for anchoring a receptacle balanced on top of a carpeted floor hump in an automobile, while in other aspects the devices are particularly suited for anchoring mats, throw rugs and the like.

Abstract: For anchoring a mat to the carpet of an automobile against forward movement, a clip for engaging the mat at its rearward edge is operated by a protector plate which shields the clip from impact while also serving to operate the jaws between an open and a closed position. The clip is linked to a hook so as to permit independent lateral and longitudinal movement by the clip with respect to the hook. The hook has a forward facing pin portion for engaging the automobile carpet and an anchoring stud portion extending substantially perpendicularly to said pin portion also for engaging said carpet and resisting the accidental removal of the pin. The hook is made of a springy material and is so shaped as to cause the carpet to be pinched between the pin portion and another part of the hook, thereby providing additional resistance to the withdrawal of the pin from the carpet.
