Patent number: 10216012Abstract: A wearable accessory can include one or more retainer arms and a housing. The one or more retainer arms can couple to a wearable article. The housing can define an inner chamber that is sized for receiving component that is coupled to the one or more retainer arms. The housing can move between a closed position and an open position. The housing can protect the component from the environment external to the chamber in the closed position and reveal the component to the environment external to the chamber in the open position.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2017Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Inventors: Kevin Slate Griffin, Timothy R. Dexter

Patent number: 9429182Abstract: A swivel attachment device comprising a pair of rings able to rotate freely with respect to one another around an axis of rotation defined by a central pivot-pin. At least one of the rings is in the form of a hook delineating a lateral access space. A removable closing part, composed of a spacer through which a fixing screw passes, is able to close said space performing partial take-up of the tensile forces.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2014Date of Patent: August 30, 2016Assignee: ZEDELInventors: Alain Maurice, Christophe Quillard

Patent number: 4323103Abstract: An anti-skid tire guard has three main components. The first component is a pair of spaced strips of material, each of the strips comprising three slats connected end to end by hinge pins. The strips are maintained in spaced relation by a plurality of metal or plastic tread members having studs projecting from one surface thereof. The ends of both of the strips are provided with female connectors. A plurality of blanks comprise each tread member and are connected by wires which are attached to the hinges by adjacent slats forming the strips. The second component comprises two slats attached end to end by a hinge, the free ends of each of these slats comprising male connector members designed to securely fit within the female members. A tread member similar to those used in the first component is provided, which is attached to the hinged portion between the two slats at one end and which has a hook at its other end.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 1980Date of Patent: April 6, 1982Inventor: Yoobong Kim

Patent number: 4277866Abstract: A small, strong jewelry clasp which requires fewer manufacturing steps to produce is disclosed. A generally flat, rectangular, elongate pin body is formed having a finger element extending from one end thereof. The other end of the pin body typically has a hole formed therethrough to capture a link of a chain. The upper surface of the pin body has a notch formed therein for receipt of a compression spring. This notch is bounded on one end by a spring stop portion of the pin body. The other end of the notch is open. A box-like enclosure member is formed by folding a flat piece of malleable material to fit around both the pin body and the notch formed in the pin body. A portion of the enclosure which is near the open end of the notch is folded inwardly so that when the enclosure is slid over the pin body, a spring is captured between the spring stop portion of the pin body and inwardly folded portion of the enclosure.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 1980Date of Patent: July 14, 1981Inventor: Chang J.
