Abstract: Various embodiments of web adjusters are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a web adjuster includes a spring-loaded cam member having a bore through which a mounting shaft or pin extends for rotatably or pivotally mounting the cam member to a frame. The cam member can extend along a central axis and include a first engagement feature positioned at a first radial distance from the central axis, and a second engagement feature positioned at a second radial distance from the central axis, larger than the first radial distance. The cam member can be rotated to engage the web to restrict movement of the web. The web adjuster can also include a handle or cover portion and a strap attached to the handle for gripping by a user to adjust the web adjuster.

Abstract: Provided herein is a clamp and method of use thereof for agitating, mixing, or shaking a fluid container using a mechanical agitator, such as a hand motion shaker. The clamp includes: at least one grip adapted to attach to at least a portion of a fluid container; at least one base comprising a high friction portion configured to contact a bottom portion of the fluid container; a supporting member extending between the grip and the base; and a mounting structure for connecting the support member to a mechanical agitator. The fluid container may be a flask including an elongated narrow neck portion extending from a bulbous portion, which has a larger inner diameter than the narrow neck portion. A method of clamping a fluid container and an assembly including a clamp and a mechanical agitator are also provided.

Abstract: A device for landing, handling and controlling a fish which includes a pair of clamps pivotally attached to a main housing. A handle is provided at one end of the housing. The clamps can be moved from a closed position to a fully opened position by a trigger assembly. The clamps can be retained in their fully opened position without manual assistance. The device can be provided with a built in scale. A locking assembly can also be provided for preventing the main housing from spinning or rotating with respect to the handle.

Abstract: A binder has a front cover and a back cover. A first page assembly for mounting in the binder includes a first magnet. A second page assembly for mounting in the binder in an overlying relationship with the first page assembly includes a second magnet for releasably attaching the second page assembly to the first page assembly in the binder. Each one of the page assemblies may include a magnet portion, a hinge portion, and a display portion, which may be all formed as one piece. The binder has a base member, made of a magnetic material, to which the magnets are attracted to mount the page assemblies in the binder.

Abstract: Promotional devices configured to removably support articles (e.g., papers, photographs, etc.) for viewing are provided. A device includes a housing and a pair of arms pivotally disposed within the housing in adjacent spaced-apart relationship. The housing includes a base portion that is configured to be supported on a surface and an upper portion that is movably secured to the base portion. The housing upper portion is movable between a distal position and a proximal position relative to the housing base portion. Movement of the housing upper portion from the distal position to the proximal position causes the upper end portions of the arms to separate so that an article can be placed therebetween. The arms are urged together so as to retain the article placed therebetween and the housing upper portion is moved to the distal position.

Abstract: Clip arrangement for fixing a strip, in particular a decorative strip in a vehicle, with a retaining part (1) and a snap-on part (2), wherein the retaining part has a receiving slot (13) with an upper guide (14) and a lower guide (17), into which receiving slot (13) there projects obliquely at least one latching finger (15) having a latching opening (16) at its free end, wherein the snap-on part (2) also has at least one projection (23) with a plurality of latching lugs (24) which can latch with a latching opening (16) when the projection (23) is inserted into the receiving slot (13). Each latching finger (15) is designed and directed in such a way that it can gently yield to the latching lugs (24) when the projection (23) is inserted into the receiving slot (13), but prevents the snap-on part (2) from being withdrawn after the latching lugs (24) have been latched into latching openings (16).

Abstract: An apparatus for clipping two or more articles of clothing, such as socks, together. The apparatus includes two jaw members which are hingeably attached and a securing member that has two arms which are respectively positioned in two channels in the two jaw members. The securing member is slidable between a closed position, where it urges the two jaw members inward to thereby securely clamp the two articles of clothing therebetween, and an open position where one of the arms is not engaged with one of the jaw members allowing the jaw members to be separable to permit removal of the two articles of clothing. The apparatus includes a latch mechanism comprised of a ridge in one of the channels and a lip in the corresponding arm which engage to retain the securing member in the closed position. The apparatus is used to keep articles of clothing together during washing and drying.

Abstract: A fishing line release clip, having dual clamps and a design that allows the release clip to use for a variety of applications. The release clip is comprised of a clamping platform, having a clamping surfaces on either end, and amounting flange on one end. A pair of clamping plates are provided that are connected by hinges to the sidewalls of the clamping plate. Each clamping plate is provided with a sliding clamp to force the clamping plate down against the clamping platform. A resilient textured clamping pad is provided beneath each clamping plate. In one embodiment, the clamping pads are provided with bosses fitting sockets in the clamping plate and the clamping platform. The flange end of the clamping platform includes a pair of V-shaped grooves for receiving a cable to securely lock the cable to the release clip.

Abstract: A side-actuated clip that is actuated by using only one hand. The clip consists of two halves, withone stationary and the other pivotal. A pivot shaft having a helical shape passes through a mounting bracket of the second, pivotal plate-half. The mounting bracket has an interior opening corresponding to the shape of the helically-shaped pivot shaft. The pivot shaft is spring biased. As the pivot shaft is translated in the mounting bracket secured to the second, pivotal plate-half, such movement causes the second plate-half to pivot open or closed, depending upon the direction of translation of the pivot shaft. The spring biases the shaft in a linear direction that pivots the second plate-half into its closed, clamping position.

Abstract: A clamp, for example of the conventional "clothes peg" type, is provided with a wedging device 9 which may be selectively locatable between the rear ends of the two clamping members 2 so as to urge the rear ends apart, and thereby by virtue of the pivotal connection 4 between the clamping members 2 to urge the clamping jaws 3 together. In this way the wedging device 9 acts to increase the strength of the clamp in order to reduce the possibility of the items held between the jaws of the clamp from slipping out of the clamp. A locking member is also provided to prevent the wedging member from being unintentionally released.

Abstract: A clip and method of using same to facilitate the positioning of a cover of the typical rectangular bag-like type over a typical rectangular bedding item such as a blanket, quilt, comforter or the like. The clip is formed with two opposed selectively engageable jaws dimensioned to permit engagement of the corners of the bedding item and cover therebetween. The clip is formed with a padded cover overlying the outside surfaces of the clip. In use, the cover typically formed with a closed end and an open end is turned inside out and positioned so that the closed corners of the inside out bag lie adjacent the corners of the bedding item. These adjacent corners of the cover and bedding item are then clipped together using one clip at each corner. The cover is then drawn over the bedding item to turn the cover right side out and simultaneously enclose the bedding item. The free corners of the cover and bedding item may if desired be clipped together, preferably within the cover.

Abstract: This spring clip for a clip-on article has a flat, generally T-shaped first clip member with openings in its wider end to receive the prongs of staples for attaching it to the clip-on article and laterally outwardly-protruding tabs on its opposite side edges near its opposite end, and a bowed second clip member with apertured ears on its concave side which pivotally receive the tabs on the first clip member, pointed prongs on its concave side facing the first clip member, and a leaf spring member bearing against the opposite end of the first clip member and preventing the clip members from coming apart at the tabs and apertured ears.

Abstract: A connector for mounting a vehicle measuring system to a vehicle fixture hole includes spaced arms with projecting end lugs which evenly and symmetrically open and grip the material defining the hole so that the connector is centered with respect to the hole. Rotation of a thumb wheel operates a wedge arrangement to evenly spread the arms and securely tighten the connector to the material defining the hole. A bushing on the connector is connectible to the vechicle measuring system and is longitudinally adjustable to set a precise distance from the measuring system to the fixture hole.
