Abstract: A grommet apparatus for a vehicle having a first floor and a second floor, and including a pin, a post, a slot grommet and a snap grommet. The pin is fixedly attached to a vehicle floor. The post is attached to the pin. The slot grommet includes a slot-grommet base member and an attachment member attached to each other such that the first floor is positioned therebetween. The pin and the post extend through the slot-grommet base member and the attachment member. The snap grommet is removably coupled to the post and includes a snap-grommet base member and a connecting member that are attached to each other such that the second floor is positioned therebetween. The pin and the post extend at least partially through the snap-grommet base member and the connecting member.

Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting the free ends of the adjacent panels of a ready to assemble article of furniture together when assembled, said connector assembly comprising a male connector having opposite ends insertable into respective opposing receiving apertures provided in adjacent ends of the panels, each end of said male connector being provided with retaining means to retain the ends of the male connectors in said respective apertures and a ready to assemble article of furniture comprising a plurality of substantially rigid panels attached together end to end, the ends of the panels being bevelled or otherwise shaped such that the panels can be folded to bring said ends into abutting relationship to define a polygonal article, wherein said panels are attached together by means of a flexible sheet material extending between the panels.

Abstract: A mat fastener has male and female grommets made of resin material. The female grommet includes an outer tube portion to be inserted into a hole in a mat; and a concave flange at the outer periphery of one end of the outer tube portion. The male grommet includes an inner tube portion to be inserted into the outer tube portion; and a concave flange at the outer periphery of one end of the inner tube portion. The tube portions are coupled to each other with the flanges of the grommets contacting opposite side surfaces of the mat around the mat hole, so that the mat is sandwiched between concavities of the flanges.

Abstract: The invention provides a buckle which is formed from a buckle main body and an insert-in body, and which has a good appearance in which a belt attaching portion is hidden from view. The buckle is formed from a buckle main body and an insert-in body. The insert-in body is provided with engaging rods and a guide rod. The engaging rods are provided at both sides of a base portion of the insert-in body and have engaging portions which engage with engaging holes of the buckle main body. The guide rod is provided at a center of the base portion and can be inserted into an insert-in hole of the buckle main body. At an opposite surface of the base portion are provided a lower surface plate having a belt attaching portion, and an upper surface plate which covers a surface of the lower surface plate. A belt insertion hole into which the belt is inserted is formed between the upper surface plate and the lower surface plate. The buckle main body is formed from an upper surface plate, a lower surface plate and side walls.

Abstract: A press machine for attachment of eyelets including a simple die configuration capable of allowing the user to easily carry out an eyelet attachment process on a table. The press machine includes a die having a rest room for receiving a washer fed from a washer box, a guide hole vertically formed through the rest room, and guide means for guiding the washer to the rest room, a table received in the rest room in such a fashion that it is vertically slidable, the table serving as a punch die for punching a cloth to be attached with eyelets while serving as a support for supporting the washer received in the rest room during an operation for attaching an eyelet to the cloth, a rack vertically mounted to a lower surface of the table in such a fashion that it is vertically slidable through the guide hole of the die in the rest room, a drive motor adapted to provide a drive force to the rack, the drive motor having a pinion engaged with the rack, and a control unit for controlling the drive motor.

Abstract: A fastener with tape comprising a tape having at least one through hole and at least one associated fastener element made of synthetic resin and having at least one mold hole. The synthetic resin is bonded to the face and reverse sides of the tape via a portion of the through hole. The bending of the tape is substantially inhibited by the mold holes.

Abstract: A strap fastener includes a fastener body on which a strap is retained, and a socket member adapted to be mounted on the fabric of a bag to retain the fastener body for connecting the strap to the bag. The fastener body has a plug with an enlarged head snappingly receivable in a stepped bore formed in the socket member. The fastener body is rotatable about the axis of the plug with respect to the socket member. With this construction, the strap is connected to the bag with utmost ease and can be adjusted in a desired posture to suit with the physical characteristics of the user.

Abstract: A snap-type fastener is set forth having a female part and a male part. The female part has a casing housing a resilient member having resilient inwardly directed prongs defining an opening, the rear of the casing of the female part is closed by a disc provided with rearwardly directed prongs which serve to fix the female part to a garment. The male part has a disc provided on one side with a projection having a head portion which can be pushed through the opening formed by the resilient prongs. The male part also has prongs which serve to fix the male part to another part of the garment.

Abstract: A snap fastener for use on garment pieces comprises a male member attached by a first rivet to one of the garment pieces and a female member attached by a second rivet to the other garment piece. The male member includes a first cylindrical wall having an annular rim snapped in an annular groove defined in a second cylindrical wall of the female member. The male member and the first rivet have reinforcing ribs biting in the garment piece sandwiched therebetween, and similarly the female member and the second rivet have reinforcing ribs held in biting engagement with the garment sandwiched therebetween. The male and female members, and the first and second rivets are prevented by these reinforcing ribs from rotating with respect to the garment pieces, an advantage which manifests itself especially where the first and second rivets have directional ornamental patterns on their heads.
