Abstract: A buckle assembly includes a first buckle member having an insertion member, a second buckle member, a first buckle latch, a second buckle latch, a plurality of resilient elements, and a locking arrangement. The locking arrangement includes at least two locking protrusions and at least one guiding member. The locking protrusions are extended from one of the insertion member and the second buckle body, and are arranged to form a locking channel between the two locking protrusions. The guiding member is extended from the remaining one of the insertion member and the second buckle body, and is arranged to be inserted in the locking channel formed by the locking protrusions so as to retain the first buckle member to be locked with the second buckle member when the first buckle latch and the second buckle latch are in the locked position.

Abstract: A hook and eye fastener for securing two pieces of a garment together includes a hook part for mounting on one of the pieces and an eye part for mounting on of the other of the pieces. The eye part comprises a frame having an open mouth defined by a circumferential lip. The lip has a pair of slots formed therein. The hook part comprises a body and arm. The arm comprises an inner portion connected to the body and an outer portion connected to inner portion. A plurality of ribs are provided along the rear surface of the inner portion and a pair of divider walls are provided along the front surface of the inner portion, nestled below the outer portion. The divider walls project forwardly for location in the slots of the lip. The fastener is relatively slim, easy to use, and capable of withstanding high tensile forces.

The cable assemblies can couple the male portions of the attachment assemblies to the trigger assembly such that movement of the trigger assembly can release or disengage the male portion of the attachment assembly from the female portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pet collar breakaway buckle device configured to be worn around the neck of a pet. Certain pets may have a natural instinct to wander, climb, and/or squeeze in to small places. Pets that squeeze into small places may catch their collars such that the pet becomes stuck. The pet collar breakaway buckle device described herein may be configured to break away under the bodyweight of the pet, reducing the risk of strangling and/or other unintended injury to the pet. A pet owner and/or other person may apply a compressive load to the buckle device to attach the collar around the neck of a pet and a tensile load to remove the device from the neck of a pet. In some implementations, the pet collar breakaway buckle device may comprise a strap, a first interlocking clasp, a second interlocking clasp, and/or other components.

Abstract: Provided is a safety directional indicator to improve highway safety. Embodiments of the invention include devices for guiding a driver of a vehicle in a desired direction, typically away from highway workers, pedestrians, curbs, and opposing lanes of traffic. Specifically included is a safety directional indicator system comprising a flexible belt with a plurality of light transmitting bars disposed along the belt and having a plurality of LEDs disposed at one elongated end of each light transmitting bar and in operable communication with a control system for illuminating the LEDs in a manner to indicate a direction for traffic. Safety devices according to the invention can be stand-alone devices, devices capable of being attached to objects or structures at a highway scene, or configured to be worn on a person's body. An object of the safety devices according to embodiments of the invention is to increase driver awareness of highway situations especially during conditions of restricted visibility.

The plug member replaceably engages in the locking member in such a manner so to be released therefrom, the locking member is released and the plug member has to be pulled in a direction opposite to that in which tension from the shoulder strap is exerted so as to prevent the unintentional release of the quick-release buckle when the tension is exerted by shoulder strap, while the tension exerted by the shoulder strap when the plug member is engaged in the locking member assures unintentional release of the quick-release buckle.

Abstract: A three point buckle release buckle includes male and female components establishing releasable latch connections at opposite sides of the buckle and a center latch. The center latch is formed by a fixed catch point in the female component and a deflectable bar of the male component. A release button is depressed against the deflectable bar to release the center latch.

The connector and the connector receiving element are designed in such a way that the connector magnet and the magnet for the connector receiving element are magnetized transversely to the closing direction X, and at least one shielding plate consisting of a ferro-magnetic material is provided on the plug or the plug receiving element. The shielding plate covers the connector magnet and the connector receiving element magnets, and the ferro-magnetic material and the thickness of the shielding plate are selected in such a way as to obtain a magnetic shielding sufficient for a pre-determined use.

Abstract: An attachment mount and receiver system for attaching articles to a garment. A receiver has openings for affixing the receiver to a support that is then attached to a compatible garment. The mount has openings for affixing an article thereto. A pair of flexible springs permit connected tines to be compressed inwardly, allowing the mount to be slidingly inserted into the receiver. A barb at the end of each tine engages an end wall of the receiver when the mount is fully seated. Tines are compressed inwardly and the mount is withdrawable. Selective locks can inhibit the tines from being compressed. Resistance to prying the mount away from the receiver is also provided.

Abstract: A curtain airbag assembly is provided having a number of airbags 7a, 7b, 7c and 7d arranged in a side by side relationship. Lower ends of the airbags 7a, 7b, 7c and 7d are linked to the adjacent airbag by an airbag tether connector assembly 10. Each of the tether connector assemblies includes first and second connectors 20, 30 that engage with one another and snap together to fasten together two tethers 26, 36. In the event that the first and second connectors 20, 30 are not correctly coupled together an indication of this fact is providing in one of a number of manners thereby reducing the risk that a vehicle 5 fitted with such a curtain airbag assembly can enter service with one or more tethers 26, 36 not connected.

The female buckle member includes a housing, a plurality of engaging portions formed on the housing for engaging with the locking members, a latch member slidably disposed in the housing for preventing the locking members from disengaging with the engaging portions in the locked position, and a bias device connecting the latch member to the housing for biasing said latch member against the locking member in the locked position.

Abstract: A detachable swim fin includes a foot pocket and a fin blade. The fin blade is movably connected to the foot pocket through a locking buckle mechanism. With the detachable design of the fin blade and the foot pocket, the present invention provides an amphibious function. When they are detached, the foot pocket is capable of protecting the foot when walking on land, like a beach shoe or a fishing shoe. When they are assembled, the present invention is used as a swim fin. When going out, the user could take apart the swim fin for carrying conveniently and flexibly. This provides a compact and light design.

Abstract: A buckle assembly including a first buckle portion having an outwardly projecting engagement member. The assembly further includes a second buckle portion including an extended socket structure with one or more resilient biasing arms disposed radially outboard of the extended socket structure. A sleeve member is disposed in reciprocating relation to the second buckle portion at least partially about the extended socket structure. A camming surface is disposed in substantially fixed relation to the sleeve member radially outboard from the resilient biasing arms. The camming surface includes at least one concavity engaging one or more of the resilient biasing arms.
