The male member is magnetically attracted for moving to the female member with the male engaging section retained to the female engaging section. The control lever is pivotally connected to the male member and has an actuating cam contacting with the female member. The female member will contact with surfaces of the actuating cam at different positions thereof when the control lever is pivotally swung relative to the male member, allowing the male engaging section to disengage from the female engaging section. Then, the control lever can be further swung to move the male member in different directions to selectively contact with one of the two groups of female guide-out surface and be completely separated from the female member.

The band may further include a distress button that when activated, causes a distress message to be sent to the cloud server. The transmitter within the housing may broadcast the location of the animal to the hunter to enable easy tracking of the animal, if wounded.

A pair of projecting portions that are substantially parallel with an insertion direction of the male member extend from the base to be disposed outside the curved portion such that the curved portion is interposed therebetween. With this arrangement, the linking body for linking the pair of legs can be disposed with less possibility that other objects are caught in a space in the male member and without increasing a length dimension in the insertion direction more than necessary. The male member can be stably held relative to the female member against a torsion force.

    Abstract: A quick release buckle assembly has a male portion that is inserted into a female portion. Each female portion has a cavity and at a spring-loaded locking device disposed within the cavity. Each male portion has a base with a locking tongue having an aperture, such that inserting the male portion into the open top of the female portion causes the locking device to snap into the aperture in the locking tongue to lock the two buckle portions together. To release the buckle portions, the locking device is pulled upward, in a direction that is between 45 to 90 degrees to the insertion plane of the female portion, until the locking device clears the aperture in the locking tongue. The motion required to release the male portion from the female portion ensures that the buckle will not be inadvertently released by catching on something in the environment.
