  • Patent number: 11000777
Abstract: A system that uses thermal addition, particle size reduction, increasing surface area, pressure reduction and kinetic energy increases to vaporize and dewater wastewater and/or sludge and/or other liquids mixed with entrained solids to produce a cleaned water condensate and a dewatered solid product. The wastewater and/or sludge enters a cylindrical drum through a rotary entrance valve. A rotating hammermill inside a drum with an exterior thermal jacket pulverizes the entering wastewater or sludge with rotating blades that keep the pulverized product against the inside of the drum's inside surface to vaporize water to separate it from solids. The vaporized water is condensed and discharged from the system and a solid product exits the drum via rotary valves. A vacuum is maintained on the drum to enhance the system.

  • Patent number: 10919274
Abstract: A colouring structure comprising: a substrate, and a colouring layer disposed on at least a part of the substrate; the substrate and the colouring layer are made from different materials and have different water absorption properties, the colouring structure comprises a plurality of colouring areas and at least one separating area, wherein the colouring area is at least partially defined by the separating area. The colouring structure allows the user to easily grasp the pattern engraved on the colouring structure, which can rapidly absorb the liquid such as ink added to the surface thereof and effectively slow the horizontal diffusion of the liquid added to the colouring layer. For liquids with high water content, the high water absorption of the colouring structure avoids or effectively reduces accidents caused by the use of high-water-content liquids, such as liquid leakage, and liquid spillage and dirtying clothes or body parts over large areas.

Abstract: [Summary] [Assignment] Providing a noble negative-electrode active material including silicon, and a production process for the same. [Solving Means] A negative-electrode active material for non-aqueous-system secondary battery including a silicon phase and a composite oxide phase (a CaSiO3 phase, for instance) is obtained by mixing a silicon oxide (SiO, for instance) with a silicon compound (CaSi2, for instance), which includes silicon and at least one member of elements being selected from the group consisting of Group 2 (or Group 2A) elements in the Periodic Table, to prepare a mixed raw material, and then reacting the mixed raw material. The composite oxide phase demonstrates the advantage of inhibiting electrolytic solutions from decomposing in a smaller amount than does the conventional SiO2 phase.
