Abstract: The invention relates to a crusher for crushing solid material the crusher comprising a frame; at least one crusher rotor arranged rotatably to the frame and having crusher blades secured to the circumference thereof a yielding counterblade structure arranged for cooperation with the crusher blades of the rotor for concurrently crushing and cutting said material and for yielding when encountering non-crushable material and when overloaded and a yielding and downwardly openable set of screens below the crusher rotor, whereby the counterblade structure is linked to the frame of the set of screens and made turnable towards it with respect for the pivoting shaft in a yield situation; and the set of screens is linked to the crusher frame on the opposite side of the crusher rotor with respect to the counterblade structure and its pivoting shaft and made downwardly collapsible about the pivoting shaft of the set of screens.
Abstract: The field of the disclosure relates to anvils for comminuting apparatus such as grinders or chippers. In some embodiments, the anvil is adjustable in length to maintain a clearance between a comminuting drum and a shear edge of the anvil.

Abstract: A roller jaw crusher system including an elongated roller that rotates normally about a center axis, and a movable breaking plate configured to define a gradually smaller gap between the breaking plate and the roller, wherein the movable breaking plate is configured to rise upward and descend in both a downward direction and a direction toward the elongated roller to break a frangible material captured between the elongated roller and the movable breaking plate.
Abstract: The invention includes a rock crushing machine and method, the machine having a base and a jaw assembly secured to the base. The jaw assembly is adapted to receive rock as input material to be at least partially crushed. The jaw assembly is provided with an arcuate reaction surface that progressively engages the input material. A hollow crushing roll has an axial inner chamber that has an axis of symmetry (O). The crushing roll is a driven member that has an outside surface which forms a crushing zone between it and the reaction surface of the jaw assembly. Positioned at least partially within the crushing roll, an eccentric shaft serves as a driving member. The eccentric shaft has an axis of rotation (E), that axis being displaced from the axis (O) by a distance (T). A drive mechanism is coupled to the eccentric shaft so that as the eccentric shaft turns, rotational and centrifugal forces can be transmitted to the crushing roll by a torque transmitting device or other roll drive torque biasing mechanism.
