Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for crushing a mineral material. Then, the mineral material is delivered in a crushing space (6) towards crushing means (8), whereby at least a portion of the material flow is discharged via a screen (20). The remaining mineral material is arranged to meet transfer and screening as well as crusher drums (10, 11) provided in the crushing space such that the transfer and screening drum continues pre-screening while simultaneously transferring the mineral material towards the crusher drum (11). Finally, the mineral material remaining in the crushing space is by crusher blades (19) of the crusher drum (11) subjected to mechanical machining wedging the mineral material against a crusher plate (21) and decreasing the particle size thereof in order for the mineral material to be finally crushed into a particle size to be discharged from the crushing space.

Abstract: An apparatus for separating and sizing particulate matter, comprising a main frame, infeed conveyor, collection conveyor and a screening assembly including a frame, screen, and an underscreen conveyor mounted underneath the screen. In exemplary embodiments at least one crusher is included. The apparatus converts configuration from a transport mode to an operating mode. Material deposited onto the infeed conveyor is moved forward into the screening assembly. Material falling through the screen is deflected by a deflector onto a collection conveyor. Material passing over the screen drops into the crusher and crushed material drops onto the collection conveyor. Material on the collection conveyor is conveyed to a discharge location. The apparatus components are arranged such that material moves in a uni-directional flow through the apparatus without reversing direction. Abstract: The aim of this invention is the development of an essentially new method for production of a casing layer (casing) intended for cultivation of mushrooms/plants and the use of appropriate equipment for this purpose. The invention allows the abandonment of raw materials with desired structure and enables making of preferred structure by using locally available low-quality raw materials, which is particularly relevant for countries having no raw materials suitable for the production of mushroom casing. The essence of this method is that a raw paste of ingredients is subjected to mechanical action and in the course of this action extra fibres are gradually added to the paste, fibres which quickly enter the inside of the paste and carry out the function of binding of the material being mixed (primary conglutination). Under continued mechanical action and by adding the rest of the said fibres, agglomeration of formed crumbles occurs (secondary conglutination).

Separating substantial portions of pile from backing comprises feeding carpeting into a rotating pinned drum, with separated pile U's dropping, while a residual composition, being primarily backing, travels with the drum, to be separated therefrom using vacuum pressure, with the composite backing being sent to a press. Vacuum pressure delivers the separated U's to a spinning perforated squirrel cage to remove dislodged pieces of adhesive, by vacuum pressure applied to an interior top portion of the cage to draw pieces therein. Rotating the perforated squirrel cage, which is sealed on the exterior using a belt, permits the U's to drop into a hopper. Abstract: A sizing roller screen apparatus and method for processing an ore feed received at an inlet is disclosed. The ore feed includes sized ore portions and oversize ore portions. The apparatus includes a roller screen having a plurality of adjacent screening rollers supported to provide interstices therebetween for permitting passage of the sized ore portions between the adjacent screening rollers, the adjacent screening rollers being operably configured to rotate to cause a first sized ore portion to pass through the interstices while the ore feed is being transported along the roller screen. The apparatus also includes a sizing roller disposed generally above an opposing one of the plurality of adjacent screening rollers, the sizing roller being operably configured to rotate to fragment at least some of the oversize ore portions passing between the sizing roller and the opposing screening roller to produce a second sized ore portion, the second sized ore portion being sized for passage between the interstices.

  • Patent number: 8322642
Abstract: An identification and separation arrangement for forming various mixtures of agglomerates from pyrolized reclaimed carbonaceous materials. The identification and separation arrangement uses a dry air source (28) and a source (16) of reclaimed carbonaceous materials containing small agglomerates and large agglomerates. The reclaimed carbonaceous materials are mixed with the dry air source, pressurized and then introduced to a pulverizer mill (12). The pulverizer mill (12) performs a first round of identification and separation by dividing the reclaimed carbonaceous material into small agglomerates and large agglomerates. The pulverizer mill (12) further fractionates the large agglomerates to form more small agglomerates. The small agglomerates are then moved to a classifier (14) that performs a second round of identification and separation. The classifier (14) separates the small agglomerates into coarse agglomerates and fine agglomerates.

Abstract: A rotary tumbler metal reclaimer includes an inner cylinder and a concentric outer cylinder that rotate simultaneously. The inner cylinder includes a first compartment that intakes material for breaking by teeth, a second compartment that receives broken material from the first compartment and crushes the material into smaller particles and a third compartment wherein particulate material enters the space between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder by attrition through perforated screens. The second compartment includes a crusher having various features for crushing lump material as it rotates. The third compartment provides further breakage and conveyance of particulate material. Particulate material then returns proximate the intake for screening into fine and coarse sizes and then collecting for reuse. Metallics and metallic oxides exit the tumbler through apertures in the rear of the third compartment for collection. The tumbler reclaims metals, metallic oxides, sands, and other materials for reuse.
