Abstract: A system for calculating a distance travelled by a warning device moving towards a required location includes an obtaining module, a first calculating module, a counting module, and a second calculating module. The number of pulses required to turn a motor through one revolution is obtained, and the first calculating module calculates a moving distance of the device per pulse according to the number of pulses and an outer diameter of a wheel. The counting module counts a total pulses issued as the warning device moves from start to finish of a movement. The second calculating module calculates a first moving distance of the warning device according to the total pulses and the distance moved per pulse, also applying rearward image-taking of an object at start and finish of a movement, to confirm calculations. A distance sensing method of the warning device is also provided.

Abstract: A method of controlling an electric parking brake of a vehicle includes calculating a desired braking force based on the vehicle condition at an instruction of applying a braking force, and starting a braking motor of the electric parking brake. The method further includes determining whether a braking force is increasing by measuring current applied to the braking motor, calculating a braking correction value based on the measured current when determined that a braking force is not increasing, calculating a load torque based on the braking correction value and the measured current when determined that a braking force is increasing, and stopping the braking motor when the load torque is greater than the desired braking force.
Abstract: The control device comprises: at least one member (12; 12X) for regulating the speed of advance on the weblike material; a central control unit (41); a guiding roller (31) with mobile axis, over which the weblike material is run; and a position transducer (39) for detecting the position of the guiding roller (31) and for generating a position signal for controlling the speed of said weblike material. The guiding roller (31) is supported in a controlled position, and associated thereto is at least one sensor (37) for detecting a load (F) applied by the weblike material (N) on the guiding roller (31). In addition, an actuator (43) controls a displacement of the guiding roller according to a feedback signal generated by the sensor (37).
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a yarn processing system comprising a textile machine, a yarn feed device and a supply spool. According to the inventive method, the yarn feed device pulls the yarn from the supply spool with varying speed and forms and maintains a yarn intermediate store. In addition, a rotatable supply spool (B) is turned at least by the yarn tension elicited by the winding drive (4) of the yarn feed device (F), and the yarn (Y) is tangentially removed from the supply spool (B).

Abstract: A web tension control and apparatus uses a lightweight dancer and a control system that detects web tension using the dancer position as well as downstream sensors to maintain a relatively constant web tension. The control system also adjusts the braking force to an unwind roll based on the diameter of the roll, allowing for greater web tension control. A two-phase braking system prevents the unwind roll from spilling excess paper into the production line.
