Abstract: A conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance roller, a conveyance motor, a back tension roller, a conveyance speed detector, a brake, and a controller. The controller is configured to: based on a conveyance speed of a web detected by the conveyance speed detector, control a value of a drive control parameter of the conveyance motor such that the conveyance speed of the web is equal to a target speed; and, based on an output torque of the conveyance motor corresponding to the value of the drive control parameter, adjust a braking force of the brake applied to the back tension roller which applies a tension to the web such that the tension of the web is equal to a target tension.
Abstract: A belt replacement device may include: a base portion having a belt placed thereon, the belt being wound in a roll shape; a rotating portion mounted on the base portion, and rotating the belt wound in a roll shape; a transporting portion holding and transporting the belt passed through the rotating portion; a guide portion guiding the belt discharged through the transporting portion; and a loading portion to which the belt dropped from the guide portion is loaded, and the belt replacement device can improve winding workability for the belt.

Abstract: At least one of processing units is capable of being pulled out of a main body of an apparatus during the occurrence of a sheet conveyance jam. A first cutter and a second cutter are arranged in the vicinity of the processing unit. The first cutter is configured to cut the sheet on an upstream of the processing unit. The second cutter is configured to cut the sheet on a downstream thereof. When the processing unit is pulled, the sheet is cut on the upstream and downstream of the processing unit.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved bead wire letoff assembly and method of operation that controls the tension of wire being pulled from a wire spool mounted to the bead wire letoff assembly. The improved wire letoff assembly can accurately control the rotational speed of the wire spool and incorporates a cam plate and tension arm linkage to control the braking force applied to the wire spool.
