Abstract: A compact dispenser for both premoistened wipes and dry bathroom tissue. The dispenser includes a first compartment for the premoistened wipes. The premoistened wipes may be placed in a removable tray in the first compartment. The dry bathroom tissue may be supported on a roll bar and be partially positioned in a second compartment of the dispenser. The dispenser may be mounted to a conventional bathroom tissue fixture using a mounting device.

Abstract: A dispenser for a roll of tape that is suitable for dispensing material such as transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive, and method for making thereof are disclosed. The dispenser includes a single-piece housing comprising a first side wall and a second side wall extended from a central wall substantially parallel to each other. Each of the side walls is provided with roll mounting flaps cut out of the side walls opposite to each other and folded inwardly therefrom. The mounting flaps are axially aligned with each other and are adapted for rotatably supporting the tape roll within the frame. The housing is made of any appropriate stiff, but foldable material, such as a sheet of plastic or metal. The two side walls of the housing are retained in a substantially parallel position by a retaining member extending between the side walls within the core of the tape roll. A serrated cutting edge may be provided on an outer edge of the central wall.
Abstract: A thread cassette in the form of a cassette-like plastic box adapted for holding two bobbins of thread. Once assembled with the bobbins disposed therein, the cassette cannot be reopened. The cassette casing enables thread therein to be easily and readily dispensed on demand. The plastic box features an integral cylindrical element which fits a standard sewing machine spool spindle. A single-bobbin casing is another embodiment of the invention. The two-bobbin embodiment may be used for supplying thread to a two-needle sewing machine.
Abstract: A toilet roll dispenser primarily for use in portable toilets, comprising a housing having a first toilet paper roll supported on a mandrel in position for use, and a second or reserve toilet paper roll on the mandrel in side-by-side relationship. The reserve roll is received in the cavity of a use-prevention receptacle which is also supported on the mandrel in co-axial relationship with the reserve toilet paper roll. The side walls of the housing restrict lateral movement of the toilet paper rolls so the reserve toilet paper roll cannot be moved laterally out of the use-prevention receptacle until the first toilet paper roll has been used up and its paper core removed from the mandrel. While the reserve roll is in the cavity of the use-prevention receptacle it cannot be used. After the first roll has been completely used up, it is then possible to reach the paper core of the used up first roll and tear it away from the mandrel.
Abstract: A device for holding and dispensing moistened tissue from a roll includes a housing having a cylindrical wall and opposite end walls. At least one of the opposite end walls is removable to allow placement of the tissue roll in the housing. The cylindrical wall, extending between the opposite end walls, includes an access opening with a hinged door which moves between a normally closed position and an open position to facilitate removal of individual sheets of the moistened tissue from the roll. An air tight seal protectively encapsulates the roll within the housing when the door is closed in order to prevent drying of the moistened tissue. A tubular dowel, integral with an inside face of one of the end walls, extends axially through an interior of the housing for rotatably supporting the roll of tissue thereon. Pegs extending outwardly from the opposite end walls fit within congruently configured recesses of a holder for securing the housing to the holder.
Abstract: The invention relates to a towel dispenser (10) such as a paper towel dispenser comprising a housing (12) in which a paper roll and an issuing device (50) are arranged. Said issuing device can AC be controlled by a sensor (38). In order to simplify the operation and to increase the reliability of the towel dispenser, the invention provides that the sensor (38) is configured as a capacitive sensor.

Abstract: A device for winding a strap or strip of material for maneuvering a shutter, roller blind or equivalent device comprising a member for winding and tensioning the strap disposed inside a box formed by two shells each including at least one edging extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to a principal web of each shell. The edgings are adapted to be brought into mutual engagement by a relative translation in a direction substantially parallel to the respective principal webs of the shells, in a configuration where an edging of a first shell is covered by an edging of a second shell.
Abstract: A supply magazine contains a recording paper roll constituted by continuous thermosensitive recording paper wound in a roll form. The recording paper is fed by a supply roller. In the supply magazine, a magazine body receives the recording paper roll. A magazine lid closes the magazine body openably. Two retention levers are shiftable between retaining and releasing positions, press an outermost turn of the recording paper roll to the supply roller when in the retaining position, and release the recording paper roll from the supply roller when in the releasing position. A combination of two linking plates has first and second ends. The first end is connected with the magazine lid. The second end is connected with each of the retention levers. The linking plates shift each retention lever from the releasing position to the retaining position in response to closing of the magazine lid.
Abstract: A toilet tissue dispensing mechanism includes a unit formed by a pair of parallel vertical walls. Each wall includes vertically spaced openings arranged such that the openings of each wall are in vertically staggered relationship with the openings of the other wall when the movable wall is closed. Each opening has a roll-mounting structure associated therewith, whereby each wall is capable of concurrently dispensing a pair of tissue rolls. Each roll-mounting structure includes a shield mounted for swinging movement between open and closed positions for securing the rolls in their respective openings. To convert such a mechanism to a dispenser which dispenses rolls sequentially rather than concurrently, the shields are swung to their open positions, and adapter plates are positioned against inside surfaces of respective ones of the walls to cover the openings therein. The plates are pressed against the respective walls by edges of the shields.
Abstract: A device for storing, transporting and feeding a roll-forming web of printing material for a machine for processing it, includes a receptacle for the roll, and a housing manipulatable in a manner analogous for a pallet, the housing being disposed for receiving and surrounding the roll, from which the web of printing material is unwindable.
Abstract: A non-automatic dispenser of towelettes that is appropriate for use in such contexts as food service, health care, long-term care, child care, educational settings, industry, military and public restrooms. A photo sensor, triggered by badge provides data for performance feedback and reinforcement/accountability strategies, documented by research as essential for sustained changes in hand cleansing behavior. Mounting shoes provide for versatility of secure placement on counter/desks; under cabinet; on either front, left or right facing wall, in bathroom stall.
