Abstract: A device for receiving an elastomer strand, in particular a sealing strand, that is to be conveyed to a processing location, and for feeding the elastomer strand at the processing location to a device for separating pieces from the elastomer strand and processing them, has a roll that receives the elastomer strand in the form of a coil, a conveying container that receives the roll with the coil and systems for rotating the roll within the conveying container in order to unwind the elastomer strand from the roll and feed it to the processing system. The conveying space required for the device after the elastomer strand has been unwound from the roll can be reduced.

Abstract: A roll roofing material is provided in the form of a cylindrical roll that may or may not have an exterior covering thereon, and with transverse members being provided, carried by the cylindrical roll, and which protrude generally outwardly of an exterior cylindrical surface of the roll. The transverse members inhibit rolling of the roll roofing either off a pitched roof. One or more inserts may be provided in a hollow core of the roll, and connectors may attach a strap to these inserts for transporting the same from ground to a rooftop, or otherwise. Protective covers may be provided at opposite ends of the roll roofing, and the protective covers may comprise the transverse members, as may be desired.

That hand towel comprises a short fabric, cloth-like element for individual hand drying, said cloth-like element having at least two distinct color components, a first main component for a substantial body of the cloth-like element and a second accent component for covering only portions of the cloth-like element, each element further including a plurality of raised regions and recesses for providing each element with a three-dimensional feel. A plurality of such cloth-like elements are adjoined end to end on an elongated sheet and wound onto a central having at least one of: a scent dispensing element and a motion detector sound chip.

Abstract: Several embodiments of an apparatus for increasing the roll diameter capacity of a toilet paper roll holder are disclosed. Spacers 34 for positioning and winding cores 33 are mounted alternately to a first winding shaft 26 of the web winding device. Each spacer 34 includes a spacer body 57 being in contact with a peripheral surface of the first winding shaft 26 and contact members 58 being in contact with the winding cores 33 on both sides of the spacer body 57. The contact member 58 is held by a contact member holding recess 59 provided in the spacer body 57. A plurality of resin rollers 62 are disposed between the contact member 58 and the contact member holding recess 59. Thereby, the contact member 58 is rotatably held relative to the spacer body 57. Since each winding core 33 can be rotated independently, it is possible to wind webs at a stable winding tension.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a tape dispenser having a plurality of spindles 26 that will hold various width tape rolls 14 within a housing 30 containing compartments for the tape rolls. The housing 30 is comprised of a rigid material having a plurality of grooves 28 on opposing walls of the housing for axially mounting spindles 26 holding tape rolls 14 therewith. There are serrated members 20 extending from the housing 30 enabling tape to be sheared into any length needed. Cover 16 also has pivots 22 and a locking element 24.

Abstract: A beam rack utilizes a plurality of mini-beams located in substantially planar layer arrangements wherein the yarn ends are fed in substantially the same direction to directors which direct the yarn to a header. The mini-beams are stacked both horizontally and vertically in the beam rack. The beam rack preferably includes a bearing arm for supporting a plurality of mini-beams along bushings of the mini-beams. The mini-beam is loaded with a warper wherein a plurality of yarn ends are preferably loaded on a single mini-beam. The yam ends can vary anywhere from one yarn to sixteen or more yarns per mini-beam depending on the number of mini-beams required to correspond with yarn feeds for a particular pattern. The yarn ends proceed from the mini-beams to the director, a header and on to a tufting machine.

The toilet paper dispensing system includes a base member, one or more spacer members attachable to the base member, a telescoping structure attachable to the spacer members, a cover member attached to telescoping structure, a handle member attached to the cover member, and a toilet paper holder attached to the cover member. The telescoping structure is comprised of a plurality of members slidably connected to one another, sliding longitudinally, guided by a plurality of upper and lower ball bearings in rolling engagement with the telescoping members. The spacer members and base member reposition the telescoping plane of the telescoping structure so as to prevent engagement with obstructions such as a perimeter ridge on a cabinet.

Abstract: An improved toilet paper dispensing system for providing easy access to a roll of toilet paper. The toilet paper dispensing system includes a telescoping structure, a cover member attached to telescoping structure, a handle member attached to the cover member, and a toilet paper holder attached to the cover member. The telescoping structure is comprised of a plurality of members slidably connected to one another, sliding longitudinally, guided by a plurality of upper and lower ball bearings in rolling engagement with said telescoping members.

Abstract: A paper roll supporting device for an image forming apparatus includes a pair of flange members to be inserted into opposite ends of a paper roll. Each flange member includes a flange body made up of a flange portion and a cylindrical support portion that is to be inserted into a tubular core included in the paper roll. A claw member has a plurality of claws capable of protruding from the outer circumference of the support portion. A biasing member exerts a pressure on the claw member. Pressing means is slidable in a direction in which the biasing member is compressible. The pressing means receives one end of the biasing member and contacts the inner circumference of the support portion. A lock/release lever is capable of being brought down for causing the pressing means to slide. The claw member causes its pawls to flare in the radial direction when pressed in the axial direction of the support portion. The device with this configuration can be easily locked to the paper roll.

Abstract: There is provided a method for refilling a system and apparatus for dispensing wet wipes. The system may include a housing, a tray and a cartridge. The cartridge has the ability to be inserted into the dispenser in a pre-selected manner based on the desired orientation of the wipes contained therein.

Abstract: A winding device, having a winding shaft, which can be inserted into and removed from the winding device, and a winding element and bearing journals protruding from both ends in the direction of the center axis of the winding shaft. The winding device has two outer bearings for receiving the bearing journals for rotatable seating of the winding shaft in the winding device, and an additional bearing for the winding shaft is assigned, spaced apart, to each outer bearing. Each outer bearing has a coupling device, and the coupling devices are displaceable along the center axis of the winding shaft and can be connected with or disconnected from the respective ends of the bearing journals. The additional bearings, acting as inner bearings, are formed between the ends of the bearing journals, which can be connected with the outer bearings, and the winding element on the bearing journal of the winding shaft.

Abstract: There is provided a method for refilling a system and apparatus for dispensing wet wipes. The system may include a housing, a tray and a cartridge. The cartridge has the ability to be inserted into the dispenser in a pre-selected manner based on the desired orientation of the wipes contained therein. Abstract: A device for supporting a roll of toilet paper on a bedside commode includes a dowel pin maintained between opposite arm members. The dowel pin is specifically sized and configured for removable receipt through the hollow core tube of a conventional roll of toilet paper. The arm members extend from the dowel pin and removably attach to the frame structure of the bedside commode in a manner which supports the toilet paper roll in convenient reach of a person seated on the commode, thereby permitting sheets of paper to be pulled and separated from the roll as the roll rotates about the dowel pin.

Abstract: A device for adjusting a position of two film rolls so as to align the two film rolls with each other in laminators is disclosed. A shaft holder engages with one end of a housing and movably receives one end of a roll shaft. A connection bolt, having a head and an externally-threaded shank provided with a woodruff key, engages with the other end of the housing from the inside to the outside of the housing, with the head being positioned inside the housing and the shank partially projecting from the housing. A bearing is set in the head of the connection bolt and holds the roll shaft passing though the shaft holder. An annular setting lever engages with the shank of the connection bolt at a position outside the housing. An adjusting handle is fitted over the woodruff key of the connection bolt. The above handle has a radial screw hole, with a wrench bolt being movably screwed into the screw hole so as to removably fix the handle to the woodruff key of the connection bolt.

Abstract: A device for adjusting the position of two protective film rolls in laminators having two roll shafts individually having a hexagonal cross-section. The right end of each roll shaft is movably received in a cap. A bolt, having a circular head, a woodruff key part and an externally-threaded part, is fitted into a semicircular hole of the cap at the woodruff key part. The bolt also passes through a hole of a right-hand bracket of the laminator prior to engaging with a tension adjusting handle at the externally-threaded part. Both a compression coil spring and a first bushing are commonly fitted over the bolt at a position between the bracket and the handle. A bolt part axially extends from the left end of each roll shaft, while two shaft adjusting handles movably engage with the bolt part. Doubled bushings are fitted over the bolt part at a position between the two shaft adjusting handles.

The packages are wound on a winding spindle rotatably mounted in cantilever fashion on a movable spindle support. A stationary holding device is provided which is adapted for engaging the free end of the winding spindle without impeding the rotation of the winding spindle, so as to support the winding spindle at its free end with a holding force during the winding of the packages. Also, the winding spindle and the holding device can be joined to each other by two coupling elements without impeding the movement of the winding spindle which occurs during the winding operation to accommodate the build of the package.

Abstract: A toilet paper dispenser includes a base assembly and a slider assembly. The base assembly is fixedly mounted, alongside a toilet, to a support structure such as a vanity. The slider assembly is adapted to slide or translate longitudinally relative to the base assembly. At one end of the slider assembly is located a toilet paper holder. In operation, the slider assembly can be set to a retracted position where the toilet paper roll holder will be stored out of way. When it is desired to use the toilet paper dispenser, the slider assembly may be extended so that someone using the toilet paper may obtain the paper without having to unnecessarily twist or turn.
