Abstract: A cap that can be placed on the lit end of a cigar causes the cigar to be extinguished and subsequently securely held. The cigar is extinguished through the use of a metallic cap and/or a metallic insert embedded or otherwise attached to the cap. The cap cradles a cigar through use of a holding mechanism comprised of springs and/or tabs. A magnet attached to the cap allows the cap to be placed on a variety of straight or sloped surfaces and still safely hold a cigar that has been inserted into the cap.

Abstract: A breast milk collection and storage system is disclosed that comprises a manual breast pump. The manual breast pump comprises a breast cup configured to engage with a mother's breast. The breast cup comprises an opening. The manual breast pump also comprises a reservoir at a base of the breast cup configured to receive breast milk through the opening and collect breast milk extracted from the mother's breast. The breast milk collection and storage system also comprises a stopper configured to seal the opening to prevent leakage of breast milk from the reservoir. The breast milk collection and storage system further comprises a capsule configured to enclose the manual breast pump with the stopper and apply a compression force to the stopper to maintain the seal of the opening when the capsule is closed.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method includes providing a flexible mat; wrapping the flexible mat around a crossbar of an infant or toddler seat; affixing at least two of a plurality of suction cups; providing a tether configured to secure an object; and coupling the tether to an anchor block by disposing an anchor terminus through an aperture, forming a compression fit. The flexible mat may have a mat body characterized by a front side, back side and thickness; and a plurality of anchors. Each anchor may include an anchor block having an aperture configured to receive a tether, and a suction cup. Each anchor may be disposed through the thickness, such that its anchor block is on the front side and its suction cup extends from the back side. The back side may be adjacent a surface of the crossbar. The method may include securing an object to the tether.

Abstract: A hands-free adjustable bib includes a bib, a support plate, a pair of hand shaped holders, and a container adjustment assembly. The pair of hand shaped holders is adjustably connected to the container adjustment assembly. The container adjustment assembly is adjustably mounted to the support plate, opposite of the pair of hand shaped holders. The support plate, which functions as a platform for the pair of hand shaped holders and the container adjustment assembly, is connected to a chest portion of the bib so that the pair of hand shaped holders can be extended towards a neck loop of the bib. Consequently, the pair of hand shaped holders secures a container while the neck loop secures the bib the user's neck.

The first and second handle portions are coupled to the support body at an angle less than about 120 degrees apart from each other about a surface of the support body. The support body is sized and configured to support a baby bottle positioned within the channel defined within the support body. In some embodiments, the first and second handle portions have handle grip portions that are coupled to the support body at an angle between about 5 degrees and about 30 degrees relative to a surface of the support body.

Abstract: Steering system for a droplet generator in a EUV system. The steering system permits controlled positioning of a droplet release point of the droplet generator. A movable member holding the droplet generator is coupled to stationary elements of the EUV system through a coupling system having a first subsystem that constrains lateral translation of the movable member, and a second subsystem that controls a relative inclination of the movable member. The first and second subsystems preferably include one or a combination of flexures that permit highly precise and repeatable positioning.

Abstract: A cup holder fastening structure includes a cup body, a fastening means hinged on the cup body and a pivotal unit. The cup body has a first coupling portion extended therefrom. The fastening means includes a strap containing a latch teeth section and a holder. The strap is fastened to an upper end of the holder. The holder has a slot to be threaded through by the strap and a second coupling portion extended from one side to mate the first coupling portion. The pivotal unit is hinged between the first and second coupling portions to adjust the angle of the cup body. Through the strap the invention can be strapped on any type of vehicle bars and installed and removed easily. Through the pivotal unit the cup body can be adjusted to a desired use angle to provide greater usability and practicality.

Abstract: A compact, pre-formed, reversible wedge-shaped pillow for supporting the head of a baby or, interchangeably, for supporting a bottle for a baby, is provided. The pillow includes a contoured, wedge-shaped body comprising a first longitudinal side, a second longitudinal side, a third longitudinal side, and two opposing angular ends. The first longitudinal side is configured with a head-receiving contour for isolating and supporting the baby's head during sleeping, feeding, or traveling in a car seat—thus reducing flat head syndrome. The third longitudinal side is configured with a bottle-receiving contour. If used in combination with a second pillow of the present invention, the head of the baby can rest within the head-receiving contour of the first pillow, while the bottle to feed the baby can rest within the bottle-receiving contour of the second pillow; thus assisting with proper digestion during feeding by elevating the head above the stomach level.

Abstract: Beverage holders adapted to attach to the upwardly extending arms of the handle assembly of a wheeled piece of luggage are described herein. The holders are adapted to twist and pivot when holding a cup with a beverage contained therein to maintain the axis of the beverage cup in a position generally orthogonal with a flat ground surface. The mechanism permitting the pivoting typically comprises a pair of opposing suspension arms that are fabricated of an elastomeric polymer that has sufficient tensile strength to support a beverage cup filled with a beverage but also has a sufficiently low flexural modulus to permit the cup to pivot when the angle of the handle assembly relative to the ground is changed.

A bottle seat is located at the top of the base and includes a bottle clamp for gripping the sides of the baby bottle to thereby releasably secure the body structure to the baby bottle. The bottle clamp may alternatively release the body structure from the baby bottle. The clamping mechanism thereby allows the detachable music box to be releasably attached to baby bottles having physical sizes and shapes that differ significantly from each other.

Abstract: A device for simulating breast-feeding is disclosed. In one embodiment the device includes a resilient, bell shaped cup adapted to snugly put on a human breast and a shoulder strap attached to two opposite positions of a rear edge of the cup. The apparatus further permits the infant to move about freely. Embodiments permit easy adjustment of the apparatus to fit both baby and container. Embodiments also permit easy cleaning of the apparatus. Embodiments are adaptable to retain other items used by the infant, such as toys or pacifiers. By employing this invention, the bottle, sippy cup or other retained item avoids contact with the ground and its consequent contamination, and yet the item is accessible to the infant at all times.

A hollow cavity is defined within the structure of the base. The cavity has an inclined floor that slopes from the periphery of the cavity toward the axial center of the base. A detent recess is located at the axial center of the base and an electrical switch having a switch actuator is located at the detent. A sphere within the cavity rolls by gravity across the inclined surface of the cavity floor. The sphere lodges in the detent when the base and liquid container supported upon the base are oriented vertically upright, as when placed upon a horizontal surface.
