Abstract: A placemat and tether system may include a mat body, a plurality of anchors and an elongated tether. The mat body may be characterized by a front side and a back side. Each anchor in the plurality of anchors may include an anchor block on the front side and a suction cup that extends from the back side, opposite the anchor block. The elongated tether may have an anchor end and a retention end, where the anchor end is removably coupleable to one of the plurality of anchors via a compression fit. The elongated tether may have three distinct segments—a first segment with a circular cross section; a second segment that is removably coupleable, via a compression fit, to the retention end to thereby form a loop; and a third segment with an elastic winding section configured to facilitate stretching along a length of the elongated tether.

Abstract: An assembly includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket includes a first member that includes a plurality of fingers and a first channel between the plurality of fingers. The first channel includes a plurality of teeth. A first flange extends from the first member and includes a first engagement surface. The second bracket includes a second member and a third member spaced from the second member. A second channel is formed between the second member and the third member. A second flange extends from the second member on an opposite side of the second member from the third member. The second flange includes a second engagement surface. In an installed configuration, the first bracket is secured to the second bracket; the first engagement surface faces the second engagement surface; and the plurality of fingers are inserted into the second channel.

Abstract: A microphone shock mount includes a mounting base, and a shock absorption assembly. The shock absorption assembly includes an outer support frame, an inner support frame and at least one resilient element. The outer support frame has a central opening connected to and extending from the mounting base. The inner support frame is supported in the central opening of the outer support frame, and has a through supporting slot. The resilient element extends between the outer support frame and the inner support frame so as to suspendedly support the inner support frame within the outer support frame. The microphone stem is adapted to fittedly penetrate the supporting slot and to be detachably mounted on the inner support frame in such a manner that external shocks and vibrations are capable of being absorbed by the resilient element so as to effectively prevent vibrations from transmitting to the microphone.

Abstract: A breastfeeding device is disclosed comprising a nipple, a housing, and one or more adjustable straps. The nipple is removably coupled to an amorphous liquid bag via a nozzle assembly. The housing comprises a protuberant portion having a first aperture, a back portion, and one or more fasteners. The protuberant portion and the back portion are removably attached to one another and form an interior cavity. The one or more fasteners are configured to removably attach the a protuberant portion to the back portion. The nipple is insertable into the first aperture of the protuberant portion and protrudes through the first aperture while the amorphous liquid bag remains within the interior cavity. The one or more adjustable straps are attached to the back portion.

Abstract: A shampoo stand including a neck assembly, a joining assembly, and a support assembly. The neck assembly includes a support, a clamping lock, a strap, and a neck support, wherein the support fits into the open bottom of the mannequin head. The L-shaped neck support provides support to the lateral of the mannequin's neck and is secured by means of the strap that surrounds the mannequin's neck and is blocked by the quick-release mechanism of the clamping lock. The joining assembly includes a semi-rigid and flexible gooseneck, where the gooseneck can retain a predetermined position, thereby the mannequin head can be handled as the user considers appropriate by coupling the gooseneck to a suitable furniture by means of a clamp attached to a bottom edge of the gooseneck.

Abstract: A side mount table leg assembly that is height adjustable to a plurality of heights is disclosed. The table leg assembly comprises an upper leg, a lower leg and a first and a second pivotable connection. The table leg assembly further comprises a side mount adapter configured to be slidably and removably engaged with a mounting bracket that is mountable to a non-horizontal surface. A gear plate at the second pivotable connection is configured to adjust the table leg assembly in three rotatable positions to accommodate different draft angles.

Abstract: A holder for an umbrella includes a base member and a top member. The top member is a resilient member that includes a central opening with slot defined around the opening. A handle for the umbrella can be inserted into the central opening. The base member can include a number of different attachment devices that can be used to attach the holder to an object such as a car or a golf cart. The attachment devices can include magnets or suction cups. The attachment devices can also include a flexible am. One end of the flexible arm can connect to the holder. The other end can have a connector, such as a claw device. The holder is configured to be connected to an object such as a golf cart, shopping cart or car.

Abstract: Provided is a nursing bottle. The nursing bottle includes a bottle body and a bottle bottom. The bottle body is detachably connected to the bottle bottom. Both the bottle body and the bottle bottom are made of silica gel, and the bottle body has an arc shape imitating a woman's breast. An outer side of the bottle body is provided with a nipple. The nipple is provided with a water outlet. The bottle body is provided with a containing cavity and a first opening. A storage bin for storing liquid is provided in the containing cavity. The water outlet is in communication with the storage bin. A side of the storage bin facing towards the bottle bottom is provided with a second opening. Reinforcing ribs are provided between the cavity wall of the containing cavity and the outer periphery of the storage bin.

Abstract: A bottle holder, which is secured on a supporting surface, comprises a receiving base and a telescoping shaft inserted into the receiving base. A portion of the shaft is elastic, such that it can be flexed (bent and/or twisted) to a comfortable close position of the bottle, held by the bottled holder, to the user who will be consuming the bottle's contents, without the aid or assistance of another individual. When the user finishes drinking from the bottle and releases the bottle, the shaft springs (snaps) back to its initial, unbiased position, where the supported bottle is angled upwards in such a way that any contents left in the bottle will not spill.

Abstract: A hydration system comprising: a fluid reservoir comprising a means for reversibly mounting the hydration system to a structure; a supply tube fluidly coupled to the reservoir at its distal end; a reversibly compressible chamber fluidly coupled to the supply tube; a mouthpiece proximate to or at a proximal end of the collapsible chamber; and at least two valves that regulate the flow of fluid through the hydration system, wherein a distal valve is positioned at a distal end of the chamber or along the supply tube and closes in response to compression of the chamber to reduce backflow of fluid into the reservoir during compression, and a proximal valve is positioned at the mouth piece, biased closed for regulating the delivery of fluid out of the mouthpiece and prevents or reduces air induction into the mouthpiece.

Abstract: A method for holding a pacifier within easy reach of a child in a crib includes the step of providing a pacifier-holding assembly having a length sufficient for the assembly to be draped between top end rails of the crib while holding the pacifier near the child. Structurally, an elongated assembly includes a cloth cover component over a longitudinally extending elastic band and two transversely extending elastic strips that are disposed on opposite sides of a pacifier-receiving opening in the cover component. The user presses the pacifier into the opening in opposition to the elastic strips while they cooperate with the elastic band and the cover component to removably hold the pacifier in place so that a nipple-simulating member of the pacifier extends outwardly away from the assembly. Mounting components removably attach the assembly to the top end rails.

Abstract: The present invention is direct to an item holding device having a container body and a flexible tail and method of use. The flexible tail, which is repositionable when sufficient force is applied, yet allows the invention to be reasonably fixed once configured, allows a user to attach the item holding device in locations unsuitable for traditional fastening mechanisms. The flexible tail facilitates the positioning of the item holding device within convenient reach of the user by enabling the user to wrap the flexible tail around a static structure or configure it to form a support stand for placement upon a surface. The flexible nature of the tail allows the tail to snugly conform to the shape of the attachment point, keeping the item holding device securely in place.

Abstract: A method and device for providing a child in a crib, with self access to a feeding bottle. A retaining receptacle, preferably insulative, for a baby bottle is provided with an open top and of an inner dimension suitable for accepting and retaining a baby bottle therein for child removal of the bottle by either lifting or tilting and dragging it out. The receptacle is provided with a releasable fastening element or elements such as hook and eye fasteners to enable the retaining receptacle to be securely fastened to one or more fixed position crib elements such as upright bars, slats or the frame to fixedly hold the retaining receptacle in an upright position at a position in the crib adjacent and accessible to a child placed therein.

Abstract: A holder for snacks and drinks, in one embodiment adapted to be secured by clamping to a child safety car seat in a vehicle, to a stroller, or to a shopping cart handle, as examples. The holder includes a main body having a front side and a rear side and supporting at least one receptacle for holding food or a drink. A clamp assembly is connected to the main body. The clamp assembly includes a pair of jaws movable relative to each other located generally on the rear side of the main body, and an adjustment knob located generally on the front side of the main body.

The infant item holder may also include an elongated member that is longer than the passage and includes first and second ends. The elongated member may be positioned in the passage with the first end extending from a first side of the passage and the second end extending from a second side of the passage. The elongated member may be movably positioned within the passage and adjustable between a first orientation with the first end in closer proximity to the base than the second end, and a second orientation with the second end in closer proximity to the base than the first end. Infant items may be positioned at the ends of the elongated member. A first infant item may be positioned in proximity to an infant in the first orientation, and a second infant item may be positioned in proximity to the infant in the second orientation.

Abstract: A cup holder fastening structure includes a cup body, a fastening means hinged on the cup body and a pivotal unit. The cup body has a first coupling portion extended therefrom. The fastening means includes a strap containing a latch teeth section and a holder. The strap is fastened to an upper end of the holder. The holder has a slot to be threaded through by the strap and a second coupling portion extended from one side to mate the first coupling portion. The pivotal unit is hinged between the first and second coupling portions to adjust the angle of the cup body. Through the strap the invention can be strapped on any type of vehicle bars and installed and removed easily. Through the pivotal unit the cup body can be adjusted to a desired use angle to provide greater usability and practicality.

The support strap and pair of constraining straps are attached to the sleeve such that, when linearly extended outwards from the sleeve, they will substantially form one of an inverted letter “T”-shape configuration or inverted letter “Y”-shape configuration, with the stem of the letter being formed by the support strap and the arms of the letter being formed by the constraining straps.

Abstract: THE BOTTLE CADDY was conceived while watching parents struggle trying to feed their babies while caring for other siblings at the same time. The multi-tasking while caring for children(s) is a fact of life and if there are alternatives they should be explored. With that in mind, the idea to develop such a product started. During that process a variety of design concepts were evaluated and then a prototype was constructed and tested, and including conducting trade-offs to ensure that a cost-effective product that is affordable to all was considered. THE BOTTLE CADDY met these goals and is maintenance free and safe to use product. Along the way THE BOTTLE CADDY usefulness was expanded for use by disable individuals with medical conditions. THE BOTTLE CADDY is light weight which is stored in small bag and consists of three basic components: a bottle sleeve/holder; a flexible arm and a clamp.

Abstract: Beverage holders adapted to attach to the upwardly extending arms of the handle assembly of a wheeled piece of luggage are described herein. The holders are adapted to twist and pivot when holding a cup with a beverage contained therein to maintain the axis of the beverage cup in a position generally orthogonal with a flat ground surface. The mechanism permitting the pivoting typically comprises a pair of opposing suspension arms that are fabricated of an elastomeric polymer that has sufficient tensile strength to support a beverage cup filled with a beverage but also has a sufficiently low flexural modulus to permit the cup to pivot when the angle of the handle assembly relative to the ground is changed.

Abstract: A hands-free baby bottle holder for holding a baby bottle in various positions comfortable for feeding a baby comprising a sleeve which can be removably wrapped around a baby bottle and which secures to itself via at least one fastening device. Four rings are coupled to the sleeve. Two of the four rings are coupled to the top of the sleeve and the remaining two of the four rings are coupled to the bottom of the sleeve. Four removable and adjustable cords are each connected to one of the four rings via a securing device situated at the first end of each of the four removable and adjustable cords. Each of the second ends of the four removable and adjustable cords is attached to clothing or around handle bars on strollers, car seats and the like via a clipping device so as to hold the bottle in a position comfortable for feeding a baby.

Abstract: A pillow is used and attached with durable elastic bands supporting a baby bottle. As an infant or disabled child lay and nurse, the baby bottle pillow supports the contents and the bottle. Many times the contents of the bottle will dislodge the bottle, hence the straps that balance the bottle on the pillow. Babies are not capable of keeping stable when feeding, especially if they are disabled, consequently, the design has been careful to compensate for nursing situations.

Abstract: A leash for a baby accessory including a bottle or other food/beverage container, toy or the like, has a padded band with a redundant attachment to the shoulder harness strap of a car seat. Similarly, the second attachment strap for attaching to the bottle has a redundant set of latches to ensure that the bottle is held thereby. The strap suspending the bottle has a dangle length of 3? to 5? to maintain the bottle within easy reach of the child obviating intervention by the parent to restore control of the container to the baby. The second attachment strap is provided with a non-slip fabric for engaging the surface of the container. The suspension strap is afforded with interchangeable clips which permit a bottle leash to be converted to a toy leash.

Shiny particle specks and different shaped multicolored floating objects are suspended in the fluid. Nipple shaped protrusions extend from end spherical end. A circular handle with oval cross section extends from the side of the cylinder. Directly opposite this handle is a rectangular shaped handle with oval cross section. The sides of both handles have small extension knobs protruding from the narrow sides of the cross sections. Options include longitudinal ribs running along the cylinder surface for easy grasp and manipulation. Additional options include rectangular grips extending, from the sides of the toy. Options include a suction cup and suspended from a flexible plastic cord that tethers the toy to a surface such as a high chair tray.

Abstract: The present invention provides a medical safety device for holding a container. The medical safety device is used to hold the container while extracting liquid by a syringe from the container. The medical safety device is a unitary flexible main body having two opposing ends. On each end is a hand hold for grasping by the user's hands. A longitudinal slit is positioned within a center portion of the main body. When opposing force is applied to both ends toward the center of the main body, the slit widens, allowing positioning of the container within the slit. Release of the force upon the ends narrows the slit and the container is retained within the slit of the medical safety device. The user may then extract the liquid from the container without holding the container.

Abstract: A flexible arm apparatus 1 that has a base clamp 10, a support arm 75, an interface attachment 100, and capable of receiving an attachment 131, 140, or 150. The base clamp 10 has a threaded knob 43 that is rotatably secured at two ends and is used to move a second jaw 17 relative to a first jaw 12. The rotation cup 80 is secured into the top of the base clamp 10 with a retainer ring 87. The rotation cup 80 receives a first end 77 of the support arm 75, and a second end 78 is received by the interface attachment 100. The interface attachment 100 comprises a lower interface component 101 and an interface-mid component 102. Changeable attachments 131, 140, and 150 are securable to the interface attachment by use of a pringle 131 or 141. The rotation cup 80 and the retainer ring 87 allow angular rotation of the first end 77 of the support arm 75 relative to the clamp base 10. The interface-mid component 102 allows angular rotation of the attachment relative to the second end 78 of the support arm 75.

Abstract: A detachable music box for a baby bottle is comprised of a body structure having a base for resting upon a horizontal surface to support the baby bottle thereon in a stable manner. A musical sound player is housed within the body structure. A bottle seat is located at the top of the base and includes a bottle clamp for gripping the sides of the baby bottle to thereby releaseably secure the body structure to the baby bottle. The bottle clamp may alternatively release the body structure from the baby bottle. The clamping mechanism thereby allows the detachable music box to be releaseably attached to baby bottles having physical sizes and shapes that differ significantly from each other.

Abstract: A flexible bottle holder, such as for baby bottles, is made of child-safe plastic and attaches to support surfaces with a hand operated screw clamp. A flexible arm extends from the clamp and has a bottle support at the other end. The bottle support easily adjusts to various bottles and allows for quick and easy insertion and removal of bottles by an adult, but is resistant to easy removal by an infant and does not include any hardware that is dangerous to an infant. In one embodiment, the bottle support uses spring tabs to secure the bottle inside a plastic band. In another embodiment, an elastic fabric jacket secures the bottle to a bottle support cradle with a plurality of hook and loop fasteners.

Abstract: An apparatus to retain an infant's beverage container, such as a bottle or sippy cup, is designed to be removably fitted on the baby in the manner of a harness. The apparatus securely retains the container and allows snugging of the harness at such a location on the infant that the container is positioned so that it may be easily drunk from and manipulated by the infant. The apparatus further permits the infant to move about freely. Embodiments permit easy adjustment of the apparatus to fit both baby and container. Embodiments also permit easy cleaning of the apparatus. Embodiments are adaptable to retain other items used by the infant, such as toys or pacifiers. By employing this invention, the bottle, sippy cup or other retained item avoids contact with the ground and its consequent contamination, and yet the item is accessible to the infant at all times.

Abstract: A tether device for securing baby objects includes a stretchable cord, first and second double-buckles, and first and second loopable straps. The stretchable cord has a first end and a second end. Each loopable strap is operably attached to a corresponding double-buckle at a proximal end of the strap. Each loopable strap is configured to releasably secure an object within the strap when the distal end of the strap is threaded through the corresponding double-buckle. The straps include a section of hook fastener material and a section of loop fastener material on one side and gripping material such as neoprene on the other side. Independent buckles can be joined by a fixed loop at the proximal end of the strap, or an integral double-buckle is provided.

Abstract: An object retaining device includes an expandable loop having elastic material attached to and disposed within a fabric sleeve substantially encasing the elastic material. A gripping material is affixed to an inwardly facing surface of the loop. A tether, which is expandable in length, has a first end attached to the loop. A first fastener is attached adjacent to a second end of the tether generally opposite the loop. A second fastener is attached to the tether in spaced relation to the first fastener, wherein engaging the first and second fasteners forms a second loop at a second end of the tether. A baby bottle, drinking cup, or the like is removably inserted into the expandable loop, and tethered to an object, such as a child's wrist, stroller, etc.

Abstract: An inexpensive, lightweight, thin, portable, compact, reusable, easy to clean, holder that can support a container in an upright, inclined, or inverted position on level, non-level, and solid and liquid surfaces or suspended using a means of suspension, such as a wire. The generally star-shaped main body with radially extended arms, and containing a hole therein used to grip a container. The main body is incurvated into a concave shape by the insertion of a container into the hole located near the center of the main body. The incurvation occurs due to the elasticity of the material used for the main body forming a semi-rigid concave shape capable of supporting the weight of the container. The adaptability of the holder enables a wide range of uses for the invention.

Abstract: A baby bottle holder with a wide base for stability with a concaved based portion for resting upon an infant is disclosed. The bottle holder has two self adjusting arms that grip the infant for hands free feeding leaving the care giver free to perform other tasks. Cylindrical like walls grip the bottle firmly and thereby allowing for easily insertion or removal of the baby bottle. The baby bottle holder retains the bottle at an angle that allowing the flow of liquids for comfortable feeding. The baby bottle holder also is shaped to act as a handle allowing the infant child to easily grip the bottle; and can be used as a teething toy.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention is directed to a clamping device with an attached arm in which the act of opening the clamp makes the arm flexible and the act of closing the clamp makes the arm rigid. By operating in this manner, the present invention may allow a worker to position the arm (while flexible) in any number of different and easily attainable positions while also allowing the worker to secure a workpiece and immobilize the arm in a single step. In another embodiment of the present invention the arm can be made flexible independently of opening the clamp.

Abstract: A baby bottle holder includes a clamp unit that is used to support the unit on a stroller or the like, a support section that is flexible, and a bottle-engaging unit that has a liquid filled peripheral section and a flexible central section. A cross hair shaped slot unit is defined through the flexible central section and accommodates a baby bottle therein. Toys, mirrors and/or teething elements are supported on the bottle-engaging unit. The liquid in the peripheral section can be a glow-in-the-dark type liquid.

The apparatus and method can include a pivotable connector such as a ball and socket connected between an elongated tube and the pacifier that can be rotated to selected positions without pinching off the tube for allowing ease of use by the nursing infant. The apparatus and methods can include additional assists such as allowing the liquid contents of the bottle to become more easily moveable by gravity flow. One embodiment can have a stand that orients the bottle up to approximately ninety degrees which can include forty five degrees when positioning the bottle on a support surface. Another embodiment allows for an interior wall inside the bottle to have a sloped portion so that laying the bottle on its side in a horizontal position still allows gravity to assist moving liquid contents within the bottle to the feeding infant.

Abstract: A bottle suspension device for suspending a bottle upside down to facilitate dispensing of all of the contents of the bottle. The bottle suspension device includes a belt member comprising a first loop portion and a second loop portion. The first loop portion is designed for being positioned around a neck of the bottle. The second loop portion is designed for extending around a body of the bottle. The belt member is designed for selectively engaging a support structure to suspend the bottle from the support structure.

Abstract: A tether substantially prevented from snugly encircling an appendage or neck of a child aged five or under, thereby substantially preventing a danger of choking and/or loss of circulation while maintaining an accessory near the child, comprising at least one elongate relatively stiffer section and at least one relatively flexible accessory section extending from the at least one relatively stiffer section, the relatively flexible accessory section being adapted to connect to a child accessory and incapable of snugly encircling the neck or appendage in conjunction with the at least one relatively stiffer section.

Abstract: A medical stirrup device includes a base adapted for fixed securement to an associated support member. The device further includes a gooseneck shaft member having a proximal end connected to the base and a distal end spaced from the base. The gooseneck shaft member is selectively manually bendable by an end-user into a curvilinear operative shape between an unbent linear position and a bendable limit of the gooseneck shaft member. A fastener is located at the distal end of the gooseneck shaft member. The fastener is adapted to engage a mating fastener of an associated limb support member to connect the associated limb support member to the shaft. In one version of the development, the shaft member includes first and second co-axial spiral-wound tubular members. In another version, the shaft has adjustable rigidity and is defined from a series of articulated links. A method of positioning a human limb for a medical procedure is also disclosed.

Abstract: A bonding nurser that can be used to closely approximate breast feeding mechanically and psychologically comprises a feeding container that simulates a breast in fluid delivery, shape, texture, feel, and ease of infant suckling releasibly attached to a sling so that the container is positioned on the breast area of the adult feeding the baby, and the adult's hands are free for cuddling the baby during feeding. The feeding container is a breast-shaped flexible housing that holds a collapsible bag which delivers milk or other fluids through a nipple protruding through the apex of the housing and is filled through a screw cap opening at the base opposite the apex and secured in the housing by retaining straps surfaced with Velcro™. When the container is assembled, i.e., a bag is positioned in the housing, the straps present a loop interface that mechanically couples the base of the container to a correspondingly sized hook-surfaced area on a shoulder strap (or a hand strap).

Abstract: A device for releasably holding a baby accessory, such as a baby bottle, includes a flexible arm having a clamp attached to one end thereof for engagement with an existing object. A magnetic or metal member is attached to the arm generally opposite the clamp for magnetically coupling with a magnetic or metal member associated with the baby bottle or accessory. The magnetic or metal member may be fixed to the baby accessory, or fixed to a support configured to removably hold the baby accessory therein. The magnetic coupling withstands most common usage, while being easily broken by the infant to avoid choking.
