A double ended hook (15, 17, 30) linked to the rail through a pierced tab (24?, 27?) formed in the rail (23, 26) or coupled to the rail through a hasp (14,17, 20?) supports the article. When hasps engage the tape unwelcome hook motion is blocked. The double ended hook may be moved to alternate positions on the rail without use of additional equipment, without disturbing adhesive bonds and without disturbing other utensils. Use of a thin rail conserves material and permits effective application of pressure to the tape-structure interface to insure bonding and permits delivery of a rail-tape-protective liner assembly in space saving coiled form.

An adhesive injection port is provided on the outer face of the base for supplying an adhesive. A primary adhesive flow path is provided on the inner face of the base. The primary adhesive flow path is in fluid communication with the adhesive injection port and allows the adhesive to flow. Further, a plurality of secondary adhesive flow paths originating from the primary adhesive flow path allow the adhesive to distribute on the inner face.

Abstract: A passive, metal mount, UHF RFID tag with a high antenna efficiency is provided. The passive, metal mount, UHF RFID tag has a first securing surface and second securing surface which are both hinged at sides of a main body of the tag and which allow the tag to be secured to flat objects, round objects having various circumferences or to objects having unusual exterior surfaces. A pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape secures the tag to the object. The tag allows the main body (or “form factor”) to be offset from a metallic asset which is tracked without the metallic object negatively interfering with the RFID. The metallic surface of the asset being tracked is used to activate the Patch antenna duality of the custom design inlay, thus increasing the radiation efficiency of the driven element (integrated circuit) and ultimately the read range.

The anchor is adapted so a back surface of the bumper pad may be attached to a back surface of an object for hanging. The mold is fitted onto a dome of the nutplate unit with an inner cap inboard edge landed onto a dome shoulder. The outer skirt is then displaced downwardly about the landed inner cap to extrude the sealant material about the lower region of the nutplate unit particularly such as the adhesively attached interface with the substrate. The sealant material is allowed to cure, after which the sealant mold can be stripped quickly and easily from the cured sealant material.

The sealant mold is formed from a lightweight plastic material, and includes an outer cap portion having an opening formed therein, in combination with an integral outer skirt to define a gap or trough for receiving and supporting a metered quantity of a curable sealant material. The mold is slidably fitted onto a dome element with outer skirt displaced downwardly to extrude the sealant material about the lower region of the dome element. The sealant material is allowed to cure, after which the sealant mold can be stripped from the cured sealant material.

Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to techniques for bonding automotive brackets for sensors, rear view mirrors, and/or other components to an interior surface of the glass. The adhesive films of certain example embodiments may be film-based adhesives that may be die-cut and pre-applied to the brackets or components. They may have a good initial adhesion or green strength immediately upon contact with the glass. In certain example instances, the films may be applied and successfully bond to the glass at near ambient temperature conditions to a strength level adequate to meet operational specifications for the component in under 72 hours.

The first adhesive is chosen to develop a bond very quickly to the wall. The second adhesive forms a bond more slowly but is much stronger and provides the main force for supporting the item of furniture. The first component (2) and the second component (3) are releasably mountable with respect to one another. In another aspect, the second component (3) is provided with cruciform slots (10) which can alternatively be used to fix the component to a wall using screws.
