    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for mounting an object within a vehicle are disclosed. One apparatus includes a base, a neck, and a pair of legs. The neck extends from the base, and has a length that is adjustable relative to the base. The legs extend from the base in substantially a same plane as the neck. Each leg has a holding portion configured to hold the object. The legs are rotatable relative to the base such that rotation of one leg causes rotation of the other leg. One method includes positioning the object adjacent a base of a mounting apparatus, adjusting a length of a neck of the apparatus to accommodate the object, and rotating a pair of legs of the apparatus such that holding portions on the legs hold the object, the pair of legs rotatable such that rotation of one leg causes rotation of the other leg.

    Abstract: A support apparatus has a positioning disc mounted on a sucking disc. An operation disc is mounted on the positioning disc and has a receiving hole. Two bevel ribs are arc-shaped, are formed on and protrude along an inner wall of the receiving hole. The sucking disc has a column mounted through the positioning disc and the receiving hole of the operation disc. A pin is mounted through the column, with two ends of the pin protruding beyond the column and abutting against the two bevel ribs of the operation disc. By rotating the operation disc to axially move the pin upon abutting against the bevel ribs to pull the sucking disc, the sucking disc can be adhered to a tablet PC. A pivotable stand connected to the positioning disc can be rested on a desk to facilitate viewing at any angle.

The two suction cups are respectively provided with a mounting seat and an attaching seat for securely coupling the two evacuation structures. The mounting seat includes a pillar fixed thereto. A collar receives a ball end of a bar therein and is attached to the pillar. The ball-ended bar is coupled to a threaded rod, which extends through an internally-threaded locking knob and received into the attaching seat to be secured by a nut. With such an arrangement, one of the suction cups can be attached to a planar fixture surface, while the other suction cup can be used to hold an article and is orientation adjustable in any direction.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an attachment system for a suction cup and a fixture, including a resilient suction cup and a wire fixture. This attachment means quickly and securely attaches the suction cup to the fixture, enabling the fixture, when secured to a smooth surface by the suction cups, to hold heavy objects. A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a pair of parallel, horizontal rigid wires separated by a distance smaller than the head of a resilient suction cup but larger than the neck of the cup. The head of the cup is compressed to fit it between the pair of wires, which hold the neck and the entire suction cup in place. A pair of transverse wires intersecting the horizontal wires limit the horizontal movement of the cup.

    Abstract: A releasable suction cup is formed with a tab formed integral with its rim, and with a release filament attached to the tab. On assembly of the suction cup with a panel to be mounted to a smooth surface by the suction cup, the release filament is threaded through a hole in the panel so that an end of the release filament is accessible adjacent the panel surface that is opposite from the suction cup. When the panel is mounted with the suction cup to the smooth surface, the suction cup can be released by pulling on the accessible end of the release filament. A second embodiment of the invention consists of a double-sided suction cup wherein each cup member has a tab with a release filament attached to its tab and threaded through a hole in the panel to be mounted to a smooth surface. With one side of the double-sided suction cup attached to the smooth surface, the release filament connected to that suction cup side remains accessible through the panel to be pulled to release the suction cup.

A plurality of outwardly extending fingers integral with the base, penetrate the sponge, further securing the sponge onto the base. The sponge is thus supported in spaced relationship with respect to the wall surface by the sponge mounting box so as to be in a position for convenient scrubbing of a person's skin when brought into contact with the sponge.

A rim 22 extends upwardly from the planar base to assist in directing any accumulated liquid toward the drain hole, wherein the leg includes a suction cup (36) adapted to be supported by the other bathtub edge (16). A ridge (40) may extend from the planar base and may be positioned adjacent the drain hole to assist in the direction of accumulated water to the drain hole.
