Abstract: A hygienic magnetic-electric toothbrush holder capable of suspending one or more electric toothbrushes, without prejudice to brand or housing style. The present invention is based on the fact that all electric toothbrushes internally consist of parts which are made with iron, steel, or alloys of these metals, which attach through the plastic housing of the electric toothbrush, to an external magnet. The present invention is designed with a magnet for the suspension and a second magnet for the prevention of lateral movement, of the electric toothbrush. The magnets are coated, on the front flat surface, with a non-slip material to prevent sliding of the electric toothbrush. The present invention may be attached to a base unit for the countertop. The present invention may be made of plastic, metal, ceramic, or other hygienic water-proof material. The design of the present invention allows for easy cleaning and inspection to ensure hygienic cleanliness.

The inner member may include a main body portion and an inner magnetic or magnetically attractable element coupled to or disposed within the main body portion. The outer member may include an outer magnetic or magnetically attractable element and a polymer static cling layer. The outer magnetic or magnetically attractable element may be magnetically attracted to the inner magnetic or magnetically attractable element. The polymer static cling layer may be configured to allow the outer member to be removably attached to an outer surface of the aquarium wall. The inner member may be removably attached to an inner surface of the aquarium wall by magnetic attraction with the outer member. The device may provide, for example, a feeding point for aquatic life contained in the aquarium.

Abstract: A stand for a musical instrument is sturdy, durable and easy to construct. The stand supports a musical instrument, such as a guitar, in a substantially upright, readily accessible manner, yet the stand is easy to disassemble for ready transport or store in a low volume configuration. One embodiment of a stand includes a base for supporting a lower section of a musical instrument and a detachable neck that engages an upper section of the musical instrument. The base includes a front support rod, a back support rod spaced apart and extending parallel to the front support rod and a pair of side support rods extending between and connecting the front support rod and the back support rod. A plurality of legs extend from the base to provide stability. The neck support can be magnetically secured to the base in a substantially upright position when the stand is in an assembled configuration.

  • Patent number: 7891616
Abstract: An assembly for securing an article with a support member affixed or integral thereto to a mounting surface. The assembly includes first and second members having means for detachably coupling together the first and second members through magnetic field interaction therebetween. The ffirst member includes means for detachably coupling to the support member of the article. The second member includes means for securing to the mounting surface, and a hook portion that receives the support member of the article. During use, the first member is coupled to the support member of the article, and the second member is secured to the mounting surface at a desired position. The first and second members are guided and coupled together by magnetic field interaction therebetween. The support member is then decoupled from the first member and moved such that it engages and is supported by the hook portion of the second member.

Abstract: The invention relates to a formwork system with a formwork support preferably for supporting at least one formwork piece, and a magnet device, movably coupled to the formwork support, for fixing the position of the formwork support on a formwork base, wherein the magnet device has a magnet member, which can be transferred between a raised position, in which the formwork support can be moved together with the magnet device relative to the formwork base, and a lowered position in which the formwork system is magnetically fixed relative to the formwork base. Advantageously, with the present invention the magnet device for transferring the magnet member between the raised position and the lowered position is movable relative to the formwork support.

Abstract: Generally, a mounting bracket for mounting a mountable object is disclosed. The mounting bracket includes a baseplate has a substantially flat mounting surface and an opposite outward-facing surface. A ledge extends a first distance from the outward-facing surface to support the mountable object. A mounting bracket locking component adapted to frictionally engage a mountable object locks the mountable object in place. Additionally, a stabilizing member extending a second distance from the outward-facing surface contacts the mountable object to help limit movement of the object during use. The mounting bracket may be used with a material dispenser in a wall mountable material dispensing system. The wall mountable material dispensing system may be packaged as a kit wherein the mounting bracket is packaged within the material dispenser.

The coupling device comprises the following characteristics: Elements are coupled together by means of a coupling element; the coupling element can be displaced in two degrees of freedom; in the first degree of freedom, the coupling element can be displaced about the play between a coupling position and a decoupling position; in the second degree of freedom, the coupling element can be moved in a sliding manner by means of an input actuation. A magnetic element is arranged and a magnetic system is arranged in the coupling element. In the second degree of freedom and by means of the input actuation, the coupling element is displaced from the coupling position, in which the coupling element is attracted into the decoupling position, in which the coupling element is repelled and displaced about the play in the first degree of freedom.
