Abstract: A system mounts a mailbox to an upstanding post defining an upper portion of the post. The system includes a plate adapted to mount the mailbox and defining a lower surface and an upper surface of the plate, the upper surface being adapted to support a lower surface of the mailbox. A sleeve extends downwardly from the lower surface of the plate, is adapted to matingly receive the upper portion of the post, and defines at least one interior wall of the sleeve. The interior wall defines at least one rib of the interior wall adapted to contact an exterior surface of the upper portion to fittingly secure the post within the sleeve and, thus, mount the mailbox to the post. Alternatively, the sleeve is adapted to be matingly received by the upper portion of the post. Alternatively, multiple mailboxes can be supported by a single system.

Abstract: A suspending buckle mechanism of output water device, which connects to a supporting arm protruding out of a wall, includes a sucker mechanism, a suspending tube, a supporting hoop and an elastic buckle. The suspending tube has an upper part with a through fixing hole and a lower part fixed to the sucker mechanism. The supporting hoop includes: a connecting sleeve, on which an axial groove is internally and externally disposed, and two connecting sheets. Through holes are disposed in the connecting sheets. The connecting sheets are symmetrically fixed around the connecting sleeve. The elastic buckle is placed between the connecting sheets. The connecting sheets are inserted in the upper opening of the hanging tube in order to make the convex columns of the elastic buckle protrude out of the through hole and then inserted in the fixing hole, so that the connecting sleeve can clasp the supporting arm.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for mounting underwater turbines that includes a mechanism for correcting tilt error, including both the amount and direction of error, associated with the installation of underwater turbines onto anchoring or mounting structures so that the yaw axis of the mounted turbines will be as close as possible to a desired angle, preferably vertical.

Abstract: A foot assembly is adapted to be detachably attached to a pole comprising a shaft portion and a ball portion. The foot assembly comprises a foot member defining a first body cavity and a clip member adapted to be detachably attached to the shaft portion of the pole assembly. With the clip member attached to the shaft portion of the pole assembly adjacent to the ball portion, the first body cavity of the foot member receives the ball portion, at least a portion of the shaft portion, and at least a portion of the clip member to detachably attach the foot member to the pole.

Abstract: A medical instrument device interconnection system decreases the vibrational effects on a hospital pole. The medical device is contained in a case and the case has a first clamping member, a first biasing apparatus, a second clamping member, a second biasing apparatus, and a pole receiving trench. Each clamping member has a preferred position, an attachment position and a maximum tension position. In the preferred position the respective biasing members position the respective clamping member's distal end as close to each other as possible which inhibits a conventional hospital pole from entering the pole receiving trench. To obtain the maximum tension position, the person positioning the medical instrument device on the hospital pole aligns the pole receiving trench with the hospital pole so the hospital pole contacts the clamping members' exterior surface in the preferred position.

Abstract: A mounting device for an electronic fish finder screen comprising a vertical mounting component connected perpendicularly to a horizontal mounting component via a joining component, wherein the height of the vertical mounting component can be adjusted by moving a locking pin on the vertical mounting component to various adjustment apertures disposed along the length of the vertical mounting component. A mounting platform is attached to the vertical mounting device to support an electronic fish finder screen.

Abstract: A saw horse comprises a pair of frames each assembled from a plurality of wooden struts joined by metal formings of sheet stock. Fabric hinges join the frames at their upper ends. The metal formings are positioned and closed around the beams with piercings engaging the fabric hinges. Spreader struts are also hinged by a fabric strap that permits the spreader struts to lay in horizontal positions when the frames are pulled into an A-shape, and to be oriented in side-by-side vertical positions when the frames are folded together.

When the quick release is in a released position, relative sliding movement between the quick release and the arcuate tube is allowed.

A mounting bracket is formed and includes a substantially flat plate provided with one or more apertures to accommodate at least one post fastener. A housing having an open substantially rectangular bottom is provided. A bottom plate is fixedly attached to the inside walls of the housing above bottom margins of the rectangular bottom. A bracket mount is provided between the bottom margins to be slidably received by the mounting bracket over the post fastener. A lockable door is pivotably attached to a front of the housing. A bracket lock is provided to removably lock the mounting bracket to the housing from at least one fixed point of attachment accessible from within the housing.

Abstract: A mailbox bracket comprises a laminar plate that is generally coextensive with a lower surface of the mailbox and has a pair of flanges for securing the mailbox to the plate. A generally cylindrical sleeve is secured to the plate and extends downwardly therefrom. The sleeve is adapted to receive a generally cylindrical post and includes an aperture for use with a bolt or pin to secure the post within the sleeve. According to one embodiment of the invention, the bracket is formed of steel. Abstract: An accessory mounting device is used with a traffic light assembly. The accessory mounting device fits over the top of a mounting pole for a traffic light assembly; due to an enlarged, gripping, lower portion with a mounting cylinder on the top thereof forming the accessory mounting device. The accessory mounting device of this invention supports a desired accessory on a traffic light assembly in a secure fashion, with minimal adverse effect on the traffic light assembly.

Abstract: In one form of the invention, a rounded bicycle seat is provided. The seat has no front pommel that is a significant factor in causing most pressure and pain to the crotch area of a rider. As such, the bicycle seat is designed to relieve numbness. In one embodiment of the current invention, the seat is provided with a rounded dome portion that minimizes or makes no contact with the crotch area of the rider when the bicycle seat is in use. Further, the seat may pivot in multiple directions in connection with the rider's movement, giving the rider proper coordination and alignment with the seat and the bicycle pedals. The seat is anatomically correct and provides support for the rider with a snug comfortable fit, while at the same time improves balance, flexibility and improves body strength with the least amount of friction and pain experienced by the rider.

The apparatus also includes a first higher doped region included in the first region and coupled to the first contact at the first location to improve an electrical coupling between the first contact and the optical waveguide. The first higher doped region has a higher doping concentration than a doping concentration within the optical path.

A seat mount is provided at the upper end of the upper body member for mounting a bicycle seat thereon. The downward and rearward pivotal movement of the upper body member and the bicycle seat operatively secured thereto is resisted by the spring or elastomer members in the post.

Abstract: A line deadend structure and method for using the same are disclosed in which three phase power lines can be attached to a single pole at different elevational locations on the pole. The lines can be attached to switches and can each be arranged to extend downward along the single pole at various differently spaced locations about the periphery/circumference of the single pole. The wires can then be connected to an electrical mechanism, such as a circuit breaker or transformer, which is located on the ground or at a lower level than the original wire connection location on the single pole. Tap mechanisms and/or fuse mechanisms can also be located on the single pole and in connection with the three phase lines to provide electrical access to the lines and/or fusing operations, respectively.

Abstract: A hanger adapted to attach to a post has a skirt attached to the bottom side of a substantially horizontal base plate having a hole defined therein. A tubular sleeve is attached to the base plate just below the hole. The end of the sleeve distant from the base plate hole is capped by a stop plate. A pole rests on the stop plate in the sleeve and extends upward through the hole in the base plate. A number of arms are attached to the top of the pole and extend radially away from it. A projection on the pole is designed to fit within gaps defined between a number of stops attached to the base plate. The pole is set to different positions by raising the pole until the projection is above a gap, turning the pole until the projection is over a different gap, and lowering the pole back down such that the projection rests within the different gap.

Abstract: A post cap and accessory assembly for pilings. Continued development resulted in refinements for accessory mounting and security, and improved adaptability of the caps to varying piling diameters and non-piling applications. Single accessory mounts afford greater ability to satisfy individual accessory needs and combination brackets broadly increase the mountability of accessories. An extension bracket provides side and top mounting positions beyond the original positions. A special electrical design permits electrical accessories mounted to a grooved base and wired to its electrical contacts to repetitively engage and disengage mating contacts for power hookup provided within a winged pedestal base so that the electrical accessories attached to the grooved base may be quickly attached or removed as desired while leaving the winged pedestal permanently installed. Easily operated wire locks are provided on all accessory mounts and are instantly released by fingertip force.
