Abstract: A bracket construction for fixedly securing a cylindrical tank such as the oxygen tank of an emergency vehicle in a vertically upright position wherein the tank is easily releasable which accommodates various sizes and configurations of upper neck sections having a backing plate with a lower surrounding member for receiving and retaining the tank bottom therewithin and an upper surrounding member including a U-shaped channel for receiving the tank neck therewithin. Two uniquely shaped bracket cams are pivotally mounted relative to the upper surrounding member and resiliently biased with respect thereto such that they can be manually manipulated or directly contacted by the arcuate neck of a tank to move to the opened position to allow exiting or entry of the tank. A lower auxiliary floor surface is pivotally secured relative to the lower surrounding member for varying the vertical dimension for accommodating tanks of various lengths and shapes.

Abstract: An arm rest with a drinking vessel holder is particularly intended for use as a back center arm rest for integration in the back rest of a vehicle. The need for a soft back rest and at the same time for integration of a drinking vessel holder is satisfied by the aspect that the drinking vessel holder is formed of a soft material in the bottom region. Moreover, the foam body for provision of padding is functionally employed for generating the retaining force required for retaining the drinking vessel.

Abstract: A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.

Abstract: A combined fishing rod and beverage holder for insertion into and removal from an opening in a marine vessel is disclosed. The combined fishing rod and beverage holder includes a substantially tubular hollow cylindrical member which is formed with an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion has a diameter which is larger than the diameter of the lower portion. The diameter of the upper portion enables a beverage container with or without an insulating jacket to be placed within and retained within the upper portion of the combined rod and beverage holder. The upper portion includes an outwardly projecting flange which includes apertures through which fasteners can be placed to secure the combined rod and beverage holder to a surface, such as a gunwale of a marine vessel. Other types or secure devices can also be employed to secure the combined rod and beverage holder to any surface.

Abstract: A cup holder for beverage containers has a deployable tray movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The tray has an upper surface, a lower surface, and an aperture. A cup insert includes a cup ring, a cup bag, and a coil spring. The cup ring has an open collar for receiving a beverage container and has a seating flange configured to rest on the upper surface. The cup bag is made of flexible material having a generally cylindrical shape between an upper rim and a bag bottom. The upper rim is affixed to the open collar. A coil spring is coupled between the cup ring and the bottom end for urging them together for collapsing the cup bag. The coil spring is expandable under the weight of a beverage container placed on the bag bottom.

Abstract: A stadium seat cup holder for use with a stadium seat having an upper seating panel and multiple other panels includes a bracket that is configured to form an attachment to a stadium seat wherein the bracket affixes to one or more seat panels of the stadium seat. At least one recess on the bracket receives a panel of the stadium seat. A cup holder is preferably movably mounted to the bracket, wherein the cup holder is movable between extended and retracted positions. In the extended position, the cup holder is placed in front of the stadium seat. In the retracted position, the cup holder is placed under the stadium seat. Fittings on the apparatus enable support of other optional items, such as a drink bottle, trash bag, and/or shaker.

A positionally adjustable supporting element prevents the drinking vessel from toppling over, and wherein the bottom element in the drinking vessel receptacle forms a first piston or else is connected to a first piston and the supporting element forms an annular piston between the housing and the drinking vessel receptacle or else is connected to at least one second piston, wherein movement of at least one of the first piston, the second piston, and the annular piston causes fluid overpressure and fluid underpressure.

The apparatus offers a new and improved way to address the special needs of this type storage by utilizing a foam body portion having a variety of specially designed cavities therein. The body is held in place using a fastener and paddle arrangement. The caddy can rest atop a mattress, and therefore does not interfere with a person getting into or leaving the bed.

Abstract: A foldable holder for a beverage container comprises a fastening plate, a supporting ring coupled pivotably to the fastening plate, a holding bracket coupled pivotably to the fastening plate, and a supporting plate coupled pivotably to the holding bracket. The supporting ring and the holding bracket share a pivot axis extending from the fastening plate. The supporting plate is coupled to a remote end of the holding bracket so as to be pivotable counter to a pivoting direction of the supporting ring. The holding bracket and the supporting plate are disposed radially within the supporting ring when folded into a retracted state.

Abstract: A tray system has a trunnion carriage mounted to a recess in a housing. A trunnion body is rotatably mounted to the carriage. A push member is slidable within the carriage. Moving the push member from a first end of travel to a second end of travel transfers a force against the trunnion body to move it to a deployed position. When the push member is at the second end then it locks the trunnion body against movement out from the deployed position. Moving the push member back to the first end transfers a force against the trunnion body to move it to the retracted position. A tray coupled to and movable with the trunnion body retracts vertically in the recess when the trunnion body is in the retracted position and deploys horizontally outward from the recess when the trunnion body is in the deployed position.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a transponder holder for controlling the readability of a transponder by an interrogator. Embodiments of the transponder holder can be removable mounted to a support structure, such as a windshield of a motor vehicle. The transponder can be supported by a plate of the transponder holder, which can be moved to position the transponder in a readable position and an unreadable position to allow a user to select whether the transponder is readable by an interrogator.

Abstract: A cup holder tray for an armrest of an automobile rear seat has a tray placed and installed in an armrest of a rear seat, and structured by a cup holder which protrudes forward by being unlocked from a lock member formed at a back of a main body with a one-touch operation when a cover provided in a front face is pressed. A stopper is inserted in and pivotally supported at a lid plate of the tray, and while a position of the stopper is being shifted by a rotation of the stopper due to the weight thereof between the lid plate and the cup holder, a backward movement of the cup holder is restricted and released.

Abstract: A cup holder fastening structure includes a cup body, a fastening means hinged on the cup body and a pivotal unit. The cup body has a first coupling portion extended therefrom. The fastening means includes a strap containing a latch teeth section and a holder. The strap is fastened to an upper end of the holder. The holder has a slot to be threaded through by the strap and a second coupling portion extended from one side to mate the first coupling portion. The pivotal unit is hinged between the first and second coupling portions to adjust the angle of the cup body. Through the strap the invention can be strapped on any type of vehicle bars and installed and removed easily. Through the pivotal unit the cup body can be adjusted to a desired use angle to provide greater usability and practicality.

Abstract: An illuminated cup holder assembly constructed in accordance with one aspect of the invention facilitates the ability to see the cup holder in darkness while also providing an aesthetically pleasing, uniformly illuminated cup holder. The cup holder assembly includes a cup receptacle having an annular outer wall configured to receive a cup. A flexible, resilient finger extends radially inwardly from the annular wall, wherein the finger is configured to engage the cup to inhibit the cup from inadvertent movement in the cup receptacle. The finger has a translucent portion configured in communication with a light source to allow light to be emitted from the light source through the translucent portion into the cup receptacle.

Abstract: The present invention includes two embodiments of stackable beverage container holders. In each, the beverage container holder comprises an upper cup-like receptacle for receiving a beverage container and one or more lower ground-penetrating members, for being inserted into sand, earth, or turf and thus retaining the product upright, supporting the beverage container. The product is intended to be molded as a single integral piece. The generally cylindrical receptacle may have a slot formed in it to allow reception of a beverage container having a handle, e.g., a coffee mug.

Abstract: The envelope holder generally consists of a main body forming a pocket to accept and store the envelopes. The main body has a front on which a size indicator is affixed. A ledge is approximately perpendicular to the front of the main body such that when a card sits on the ledge the size indicator will alert the user whether or not the envelope is the correct size. A back attachment is attached to the main body such that the envelope holder can attach to the card rack.

Abstract: A beverage container holder for holding round or rectangular containers. In one embodiment, the holder is a unitary plastic structure which includes a lower rectangular container holding portion and an upper hook portion for hanging the holder onto another structure. The holding portion includes a plurality of resilient inwardly extending fingers, each of which assumes a generally V-shaped configuration. In a second embodiment, the holder includes an upper tray portion having a pair of side-by-side square openings, each having a plurality of inward extending resilient fingers, and a generally U-shaped supporting member which is pivotally attached to the tray portion.

Abstract: A modular bracket assembly is provided for use with a field hospital portable bed or a NATO litter. The assembly includes a clamp that can be releasably attached to the pole of a litter. The clamp is formed with a mounting aperture. The assembly also includes a lower support that can be mounted in the mounting aperture of the clamp or in attachment holes of field hospital portable beds or the socket that is formed within each hinge when a collapsible litter. An accessory mount is provided on the lower support and can receive a mounting flange affixed to a medical accessory. An upper support can be mounted on the top end of the lower support and can be used to support medical equipment items and/or IV solutions.

Abstract: A clamping structure comprising an elongated rod having a plurality of bends for attaching to a horizontal beam. The clamping structure includes back portions adjacent the back of the beam, lower portions adjacent to the bottom of the beam, one or more top portions adjacent to the top of the beam and extending forward of the beam, and front portions which are angled away from the front of the beam. The clamping structure may be used to temporarily attach a holding element such as a cup holder or hook to the horizontal beam, and the holding element may be attached to the clamping structure or may be made from the same elongated rod as the holding element.

Abstract: A system and attendant structural components for incorporating an alternate fuel supply, such as of the type used in combination with a conventional distillate fuel, to power a heavy duty industrial vehicle, such as a mine haul dump truck. The system and attendant structure includes a mounting assembly structured for containment and support of the alternate fuel and a containment area disposed on the vehicle and structured and dimensioned to retain the mounting assembly therein. The containment area and the mounting assembly are disposed in laterally adjacent, exposed relation to an operator area of the mine haul truck, wherein the mounting assembly and the containment area are cooperatively disposed and structured to facilitate storage of the alternate fuel and operative communication and distribution thereof with the powering engine of the mine haul vehicle.

The holding device is a generally rectangular shaped basket member that has a top rail and a first series of straps extending between opposing sides of the rail and a second series of straps extending between opposing ends of the rail, the first straps and the second straps crossing generally normal to one another. One or more straps secure the basket member to an appropriate point on the boat. One or more bumpers buffer the device against the side of the boat. The basket member may have a netting therein to hold small objects safely.

The supporting member is rotatable from a first position wherein it is retained within the tray portion to a second position wherein it is substantially perpendicular to the tray portion.

Abstract: A universal holder that can hold anything that has a pole-like or rod-like insert base. It is extremely strong with respect to sideways pulls and is highly resistant to corrosion. An upper pipe section made typically made from PVC pipe has an upper end open and a lower end closed. The lower end can be fitted with a threaded nut. A stainless steel pipe or rod, which is highly corrosion resistant can have an upper end threaded to mate into the threaded nut. The pipe or rod can receive a point or a pointed spike at its bottom end for insertion into soil or sand. This point or spike can be aluminum. Alternatively, a solid stainless steel rod can tapered on the lower end into a point. The universal holder of the present invention can be used to hold fishing poles, flag poles, flower pots, lanterns and numerous other items. It can also be paired with a second similar holder to hold a clothesline or the like. Various different accessories can be used with the universal holder to hold numerous diverse items.

Simultaneously, since the weight of the beverage container is applied to the bottom plate, the bottom plate moves downwardly against the urging force of the coil spring, whereby a lock member moves downwardly together with the downward movement of the bottom plate.

The adjusting member is configured and arranged to deflect to disengage the connector portion to change configurations.

The beverage aperture receives a drink container to allow the sleeve to support the drink container adjacent to the stand when the frame is mounted on the stand.
