    Abstract: An adjustable hanger bar assembly including an adjustable hanger bar having tubular inner and outer bar members, an electrical box having a top wall with a deep channel therein, and a mounting plate having one or more tensioner tangs. The inner bar member is adapted to slide within the outer bar member. The adjustable hanger bar assembly includes mounting fasteners and an interior channel in which the mounting plate is assembled. With the electrical box mounted to the hanger bar assembly by the mounting fasteners, the hanger bars are tightly held between the channel walls of the electrical box. The tensioner tangs create tension between the mounting bars, the mounting plate, and the electrical box, thereby forming a secure connection between the components that will withstand vibrational forces and prevent separation of the electrical box from the mounting bars.

    Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a recessed electric fixture in a hole in a support surface having a housing and flexible member with attached spring clips to secure the housing against the support surface is disclosed. The flexible member and spring clips are attached to the recessed electric fixture by tightening members, and inward pressure applied to the tightening members causes the flexible member to bend so that the spring clips are moved inwardly towards the housing, allowing the spring clips and the flexible member to pass through the hole in the support surface. The flexible member unbends when the pressure on the tightening members is removed, allowing the spring cops to move outwardly from the housing so that a surface-bearing section of the spring clips bears against the back side of the support surface and retains the electric fixture in the support surface hole.

Each friction element is connected to a respective arm's third segment. Each arm's first segment is compressably attached to the compression element, such that a force applied to at least one of the arm-friction element pairs results in the compression element and that at least one pair exerting a suspending force that suspends a luminaire to which the luminaire suspension mechanism is attached within a cavity. The compression element may be a torsion spring, and the angles formed by the arm segments may be obtuse.

First, as the two connective flexible strips contract inwardly in the radial direction, the speaker may be allowed to pass and then be placed in the hole. Then, as the two connective flexible strips expand outwardly in the radial direction, the diameter formed by the two connective units is larger than that of the hole. Now, the outer layer of a wall or a ceiling is sandwiched in between the circumferential edge and the two connective flexible strips.

    Abstract: An easy-mount in-ceiling speaker mount has multiple fastening units mounted on an in-ceiling speaker. Each fastening unit has a base frame, a torsion spring securely mounted on the base frame, a pivoting member pivotally mounted on the base frame, a slider plate longitudinally movable on the base frame, and a spring holder receiving the torsion spring, pivotally mounted on the base frame and blocked by the pivoting member. When the speaker mount is moved upwardly through a ceiling, a bottom of the ceiling holds a ceiling support formed on the slider plate and the pivoting member is pushed and pivoted. After being unblocked from the pivoting member, the spring holder is pivoted to hold a top of the ceiling in completion of the mounting of the speaker mount. Accordingly, the mounting procedures of the speaker mount can be easily achieved by simply pushing it upwardly through a ceiling.
