Abstract: A projector holder has a connecting element with a coupling element for connecting the holder to a supporting structure, and three arms carried by the connecting element for rotation about parallel axes and for radial displacement relative to the axes. One end of the arms is aligned with threaded openings in a projector housing wall, and each arm carries a coupling device for connecting one arm end to a threaded opening in the housing wall. The connecting element releasably secures second end portions of the connected arms. The coupling device has a screw that extends through an opening in the arm, and two nuts mounted on a respective side of the arm. The nuts can be moved to position the arm at a chosen distance from the housing wall and to be tightened against the arm so as to secure the screw against rotation.

Abstract: A loop line comprised of a pair of side by side cords of equal length and knots equispaced along said cords for joining the cords together and defining loops between the knots. The cords preferably are limp monofilament with knots tied or are string or thin rope made of several strands braided, twisted or woven together and the knots for joining the cords together are formed by interlacing, braiding or looping the cords. The strands are selected from at least one of polymer, polyester or metal wire fibres. For hanging an item, the loop line has a proximal end terminating at a knot and a distal end terminating in a knot, the proximal end of the loop line is wrapped around or inserted in a hole in the item, the distal end is passed through a loop formed in the loop line at the knot at the proximal end to form a hitch attached to the item, and the loop line is hung from a knot formed in the loop line at the distal end.

Abstract: The invention concerns an articulated suspension, particularly adapted to display screen support systems and consisting of a suspension part (1), whereof the end (1??) has a partially spherical outer profile, a linking part (5) suspended to the suspension part (1), and a sliding part arranged between the suspension part (1) and the linking part (5), said sliding part enabling the linking part (5) to produce a pivoting and sliding tilting movement relative to the suspension part (1). The invention is characterized in that the sliding part (5) is an annular sliding band (7), whereof the thickness is constant and the inner profile corresponds to the spherical outer profile of the end (1??) of the suspension part (1). In accordance with the invention, the linking part (5) includes one end (5?) whereof the inner profile is partly spherical and corresponds to the spherical outer profile of the sliding band (7).

Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and method that enables a single installer to attach panels, such as drywall sheets, to overhead surfaces without the help of a second person to support the sheet against a ceiling while the installer performs the fastening. Two components are included, a fixed shelf and a movable shelf. Each component is elongated to support approximately half of the edge of the panels, so that the installer need not manipulate multiple brackets before securing the panels to the ceiling.

Abstract: The present invention provides a dryer, by which a simpler assembly between a rear supporter and a back cover is provided. The dryer includes a back cover covering a rear side of the dryer, a drum containing a laundry and rotating to dry the laundry, a rear supporter supporting a rear side of the drum, and at least one latching part provided to an upper side of the back cover to latch an upper edge of the rear supporter.

Abstract: Mounting apparatus for fixtures and fans adapted for mounting on a slant ceiling or peak of a cathedral ceiling. Apparatus provides an enclosure for suspending an electrical box in a horizontal disposition so a fixture or fan can be suspended from the apparatus with the weight of the fixture transferred to a joist/beam. Apparatus includes a first enclosure having a bottom opening, a second enclosure adapted for attachment to the first enclosure, providing for extension of a vertical height of the mounting device, a junction box adapted for location within the bottom opening, and a mounting plate adapted for attachment to the junction box, the first enclosure, and the joist/beam. The fixture hangs from the joist/beam by attachment of the fixture to the junction box, attachment of the junction box to the mounting plate, and attachment of the mounting plate to the joist/beam.

Abstract: A hanger assembly including an adjustable bar and a fixture box for rapidly installing and centering an electrical fixture over a hole in a ceiling. The adjustable bar includes an elongated tubular member, a threaded rod rotatably connected to the tubular member, joist engaging members on each end of the bar, and a fastening arrangement for securing the fixture box with respect to the adjustable bar. The adjustable bar can be adjusted to a shortened configuration to allow easy passage through a hole in a ceiling and the tubular member then rotated to force the joist engaging members into secure contact with the joists. The fastening arrangement permits loosening and readjustment of the hanger assembly to enable centering the fixture box above the hole.

Abstract: An electrical fixture mounting assembly is provided for quickly and easily mounting an electrical fixture to a bracket and brace assembly. The electrical fixture mounting assembly includes an electrical box, a brace assembly for attaching to a support structure and a bracket for attaching the electrical box to the brace. The brace assembly is typically and adjustable member that extends between ceiling joists located above an aperture in a ceiling. The bracket is connected to the brace by a snap fit. The bracket includes retention fingers that are resilient to snap onto the brace and prevent movement of the bracket with respect to the brace during installation of the electrical box. The bracket includes tabs with threaded apertures for receiving mounting screws. The electrical box includes circular apertures and at least one keyhole shaped slot aligned with the threaded apertures in the flanges of the bracket.

Abstract: A ceiling fan mounting system includes a mounting bracket for fixing the ceiling fan mounting system, and a canopy. The mounting bracket includes a flange comprising an external peripheral surface, the external peripheral surface having at least one locking hole thereat. The canopy includes a sleeve joint adapted to receive and nest the flange of the mounting bracket. The canopy has at least one elastic blocker corresponding the at least one locking hole, in assembly, the at least one elastic blocker being embedded in the at least one locking hole.

Abstract: Disclosed is a flush mountable housing that is an effective and inexpensive smoke detector recessed box for receiving and recessing a conventional smoke detector while still allowing for perfect functionality. Specific air passageways are disclosed for trapping the smoke and gases in order to provide for the smoke detector to make an earlier detection than if the smoke detector was mounted conventionally and protruded from the ceiling.

Abstract: An internally expanding and locking apparatus for installing inside the pipe stub of a typical outdoor lighting pole and expanding with locking teeth to grasp the inner walls of the pipe stub, the apparatus including a swivel base, a clamp screw inserted through the swivel base, a ramp nut passing over the clamp screw so as to be positioned offset from the swivel base, and a mounting nut threadably installed on the clamp screw and configured to engage the ramp nut so as to control the position of the ramp nut relative to the swivel base as the clamp screw is rotated during use of the pipe mounting apparatus.

Abstract: A hanger bar attachable between joists for supporting a fixture has an attaching plate at distal ends with a contact portion for bearing against a joist and a laterally extending portion that defines a recess. The extended portion defines an elongate slot that receives a bushing and a fastener extends through the bushing for securing the elongate bar to the joist. The hanger bar is selectively positionable after initial attachment to the joist by moving the attaching plate as guided by the bushing in the slot. A method of attaching a hanger bar to joists for supporting fixtures is disclosed.

Abstract: A camera platform for installing a camera in the inside of an automobile is designed in such a manner that even when a camera is rotated to capture rearward images, the camera does not interfere with a room mirror. Since the shaft of a rotation portion is divided into a rotation shaft and a ball shaft, an arm part of the camera platform is rotated without the necessity of rotating the camera main body in the vicinity of the room mirror, so that it becomes possible to carry out rearward image capturing operations. Moreover, since the rotation shaft of the arm part is designed to be offset from the camera attaching center line by 20 mm, it becomes possible to prevent a cable extending from above the camera from contacting with an arm attachment part of a mount, even when the camera is rotated.

Abstract: A recessed fixture for mounting into an opening in a wall structure defining front and rear wall surfaces comprises a pot defining a fixture chamber to be received in the opening of the wall structure and having a peripheral wall, an end wall and a peripheral flange for abutment with the wall structure. A clip is provided having a surface-abutting portion. The clip is so mounted to the peripheral wall of the pot so as to reciprocate between a retracted position where the clip is inside the fixture chamber and an extended position where the surface-abutting portion is outside the fixture chamber and abuts the rear surface of the wall structure. A fastener is coupled to both the clip and the pot for reciprocatively moving the clip between retracted and extended positions.

Abstract: An improved small profile hanger system for ceiling suspended lighting fixtures comprises a plurality of hanger assemblies having a support stem and a downwardly arced crossbar. The support stem and crossbar have a relatively small elliptical profile have two sets of wire holes, each set of wire holes having an inner hole and an outer hole overlapping the inner hole, the inner and outer holes defining an intervening gap narrower than the dimension of either hole. The holes are sized to receive an insulated wire; the intervening gap preventing the wire from crossing over into the adjacent hole. The wire holes of the support stem are in communication with the wire holes of the crossbar providing a fully enclosed wiring passage from a ballast box assembly installed above a suspended ceiling to energize a lamp in a diffuser depending from a pair of the crossbars.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for securing an electrical fixture to a ceiling in an airtight fit. The mounting assembly includes a pair of box members connected by a bridge. A flange is provided coplanar with the bridge and extending outward transversely around the periphery of the box members. A channel is provided between the bridge and box members and mounting fasteners are frictionally held within temporary storage receptacles in the mounting assembly. The mounting fasteners are removed from the temporary storage receptacles and secured through the bridge to secure the mounting assembly to the beam. The flange provides a sealing surface for sealing against air infiltration around the periphery of the electrical box. Duct seal may be applied around the periphery of the cables at the knockout areas to provide an airtight seal for the electrical cables entering the electrical box.

In one aspect of the invention, a sprinkler head may be received by a sleeve extending through a broad surface of the plate. The plate may be configured to be removably attached to a support structure in the ceiling, floor, or wall and having an exterior surface exposed to the room or the plate may be attached to a decorative panel which is configured to be removably attached to a support structure in the ceiling, floor, or wall and having an exterior surface exposed to the room. The sleeve may be defined by an opening in the plate or it may be a separate structure permanently or removably attached to the plate.

Abstract: An article for mounting from or against the ceiling is removably coupled to a base fixedly secured to the ceiling, by a person standing on the floor, supporting the article on an elongated rod, and thrusting the article against the base to couple the article and the secured base. The article is removed by inserting the rod into the article, exerting a force on the rod to uncouple the article from the base, and supporting the article on the rod as the article is lowered. The article is thus positioned on or hung from the ceiling, without being manually contacted by the person. The article may be used to mount other devices, such as a sign, smoke detector, etc. or may include such device as a part of the mount.

Abstract: A quick connecting universal electrical box system for the mounting of electrical sockets, switches or any electronic or communication component that is typically installed into a wall is disclosed. The system comprises a mounting frame and an electrical box, which can be pre-wired with any socket unit or component, such that installation of the electrical box into a wall is greatly simplified. The mounting frame is first inserted into a wall, followed by insertion of the electrical box into the mounting frame. The action of inserting the electrical box into the mounting frame forces flaps in the mounting frame to engage and lock the mounting frame into the wall. Retaining studs formed on flexible side panels of the electrical box then engage with corresponding openings in the mounting frame to secure the electrical box within the mounting frame. Secure installation of this electrical box is simple and quick without the need for any tools or fastening screws.

Abstract: An easy to install easy to adjust mounting for holding a monitor from the ceiling is disclosed. The mounting swivels to face any direction in the room, tilts to point the monitor at any angle and has an adjustable length to fit any height ceiling or desired position of the monitor. The wires or cables are easily hidden inside of the mounting, which has two slit tubes. The slits are aligned to easily insert the wires through the sides of the tubes. The height adjustment is inside of the tubes to improve the appearance of the mounting. The height adjustment is by telescoping tubes one having a pair of setscrews for engaging a channel inside of the other tube. The setscrews thereby prevent rotational changes in the tubes keeping the slots in the tubes aligned while allowing height adjustment.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a stock bar and T-bar coupling structure for mounting a sprinkler. In the present invention, a locking bracket is easily securely coupled to a T-bar using an elastic locking unit and a wing bolt. Furthermore, a stock bar made of standard rectangular pipe is coupled to the locking bracket by a first locking unit such that the stock bar crosses over the T-bar. Because this locking bracket is manufactured as a separate component from the stock bar, the present invention can be used without limiting the distance between the T-bars. Furthermore, the present invention has an advantage in that a standard rectangular pipe can be easily used as a stock bar merely by cutting the pipe to a desired length.

Abstract: A hanger assembly for depending a ceiling fan from a overhead includes a hanger bracket securable a support member integral with the overhead. A down rod suspended from the hanger bracket has a lower end adapted for engagement with the ceiling fan. A canopy has a central opening through which the down rod is received and an upper rim which receives the sidewall of the hanger bracket. The upper rim of the canopy is secured to the hanger bracket by a plurality of screws having heads exposed on the outside of the upper rim of the canopy. A rim cover which fits over and encapsulates the screw heads is engagable with the canopy in snap engagement.

Abstract: The rotating stem mount has an anchor block and a lag screw extending through the anchor block for mounting the anchor block to a stationary surface. A guide bearing is mounted on a circular shoulder on the anchor block near the base end of the anchor block. The outer race of a thrust bearing is retained to the load end of the anchor block in axial alignment with the anchor block by means of a bearing retainer. A cylindrical housing encloses the thrust bearing, the guide bearing and the anchor block. The housing has a diametrical partition therein in a mid-region thereof. A bolt retains the diametrical partition to the inner race of the thrust bearing. The housing further has an internal circular step in its base end, and that circular step fitly encloses the guide bearing. A stem-like member is mountable to the load end of the housing.

Abstract: Conduit retainer apparatus includes a central bridge element and a pair of end plates secured to the central bridge element. The conduit retainer apparatus is disposed in a trench on top of conduits. The end plates dig into the sides of the trench to prevent the conduits from rising or floating as the conduit is being encased in concrete. The end plates include barb elements to help lock the conduit apparatus to the sides of the trench. Different configurations of barb elements are illustrated, and also different embodiments of end plates and bridge elements.

Abstract: A modular lighting fixture includes an elongated support and a plurality of objects such as crystals attachable to and suspendable from the support. A plurality of the modular lighting fixtures may be readily assembled and attached to or supported from a ceiling in various configurations such as being spaced-apart, in an elongated curtain, in a rectangle, and/or in a zigzag configuration. In one embodiment, the support includes an elongated upper member having a first width and a first length, an elongated lower member having a second width and a second length and being spaced-apart from the upper member, and wherein the first length equals the second length and the first width is greater than the second width. In another embodiment, an elongated modular lighting fixture includes a plurality of cable grips connected to the support for hanging the plurality of objects from the support.
