Abstract: A motorized telescopic umbrella attachment device for opening and closing based on readings from a wind pressure sensor includes a base. The base has an interior that holds a variety of elements including a battery, a charge port, a microprocessor, a Bluetooth receiver, and a speaker. Furthermore, the interior has a gear drive and a motor. A rack of a clamp is in mechanical communication with the gear drive whereby the motion of the gear drive moves the clamp. The clamp attaches to a vehicle tailgate. A shaft extends out when the gear drive is in motion. A pole is nested within the shaft. A canopy is at an end of the pole. A plurality of telescopic arms helps to extend the canopy to an open position when the shaft extends out. The shaft has a sensor to retract when the wind expels high pressure.

Abstract: An apparatus for stowing and/or transporting rod-shaped structures such that the rods are easily insertable into, and removable from, the rod holder when it is located underneath an overhead obstruction that would otherwise prevent insertion or removal of rods into the rod holder. The rod holder rotates away from the receiving structure to which it is attached by operation of a rotatable attachment between the rod holder and a base. The base comprises a latching mechanism to prevent the rod holder from rotating unless it is released using a latch release lever. The rod holder allows insertion of longer rods into the rod holder than would otherwise be possible using rod holders of the prior art. The rod holder increases ease of access to rods stored in the rod holder. An exemplary use case is the storage of fishing rods under a T-top on a fishing boat.

A solar panel is mounted to the pole at a top end portion thereof. An LED light is mounted to the pole. A battery is connected to the solar panel and the LED light. The battery is adapted for storing electrical energy received from the solar panel and for providing the same to the LED light. Control circuitry is connected to the solar panel, the LED light and the battery to control storage of the electrical energy and provision of the same to the LED light.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for a base station antenna includes a pair of clamp brackets, a mounting bracket configured to be connected to the base station antenna and a lead screw sub-assembly. The lead screw sub-assembly is adapted to pivotably couple the mounting bracket to the pair of clamp brackets. The lead screw sub-assembly comprising a lead screw engaged with at least one clamp bracket of pair of clamp brackets and an adjustment bracket coupled at a first end of lead screw. The adjustment bracket is configured to allow a pivotal movement of mounting bracket with respect to pair of clamp brackets. The lead screw is rotatable within the at least one clamp bracket for adjusting a tilt angle of the base station antenna. The antenna utilizes a single mounting assembly to facilitate mounting of the antenna to the support structure.

The bottom connection point is attached to a bottom end of the shaft and includes a carve-out structure integrated into its rear surface which is configured to receive a mating pin positioned at the bottom of the tube to prevent the adapter from rotating in the tube.

Abstract: A laser lowering device for mounting a laser, which in one embodiment includes: at least one laser support for mounting the laser; a mount having a line receiving portion, the mount being connected to the at least one laser support; an elongated member having a first end and a second end, the first end being removably connected to a pole and the second end being pivotally connected to the mount; and a mount control line connected to the line receiving portion and extending towards the elongated member. The mount control line is manipulable to cause the mount to pivot relative to the elongated member. The laser lowering device allows a laser to be remotely lowered into a non-traditional manhole and inserted into pipes.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder is described. The fishing rod holder may be used in a variety of manners, including on land and at sea (on a boat). The fishing rod holder may be used in a recess or a sleeve built into the boat, used in a fighting chair, or even held by the fisherman as needed. The rod holder may further allow the fishing rod to rotate during, for example, trolling or other types of fishing. The fishing rod holder also includes a structure that supports the fishing rod when the fishing rod begins to bend or flex under the weight of a fish.

The device could even be clamped to a rail of a wooden deck rather than on a boat. A stem is clamped to the rail using a clamp and several clamp screws. A rod holder with a sizing insert is screwed to a top end of the stem using a rod screw for connecting the holder to the stem. The sizing insert can be inserted into the holder and may be interchangeable depending on the rod to be placed within the holder, from a flag pole to a fishing pole handle to a spotlight pole.

Abstract: An outrigger for holding an object on a boat is described. The outrigger includes a mounting cylinder for attaching the outrigger to a boat, a hub having a first gear set, where the hub is adapted to be placed in one end of the mounting cylinder. The outrigger further includes an arm for holding an object. The arm is adapted to be inserted into the other end of the mounting cylinder and has a second gear set for locking with the first gear set in the hub. The arm can be rotated with respect to the mounting cylinder by pulling the arm outward from the mounting cylinder, rotating the arm with respect to the mounting cylinder, and reengaging it with the first gear set in the hub.

Abstract: A boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus is provided. One aspect of the present ladder apparatus includes an elongated extension handle including a slot adjacent a lower end thereof. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus provides a snap-on step tread which can be mounted to a dual-tubular ladder step structure. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus employs a laterally expandable ladder step which can be retrofit onto an existing ladder. A further aspect employs clasps or hooks to attach and retain a ladder step to generally vertical ladder rails in a tool-free and fastener-free manner.

Abstract: This invention provides a sunshade and a sunshade base thereof. The sunshade base, configured to be connected with a sunshade rod to support a sunshade top, the sunshade includes: a support, an upper side of the support is provided with a connection member for being connected with the sunshade rod; a moving assembly, rolling or sliding to drive the support to move; and a counterweight, the support has a counterweight area for supporting the counterweight. When the sunshade needs to be moved, it only needs to drive the moving assembly to roll or slide, thereby driving the support and the whole sunshade to move. Compared with the prior art in which several people is required to work together to move the sunshade, this invention greatly reduces the labor intensity of moving the sunshade, thereby making the moving of the sunshade more time-saving and labor-saving.

Abstract: An assembly allowing a user to adjust a relative positioning of an imaging portal of a lens attached to an electronic device relative to the viewing portal of a lens of an optical device. The assembly is made up of a planar adjustment unit having multiple plates that frictionally interface with one another such that they allow movement by a user. The components of the planar adjustment unit are held together by at least one elastically deformable element that passes through the channels in the sliding plates of the planar adjustment unit. The at least one elastically deformable element holds the planar adjustment unit together in tension such that the assembled plates may still slide with respect to one another, but remain in place by static friction when not moved by a user. The planar adjustment unit may be further combined with components allowing for three-dimensional adjustment of an imaging portal of a lens attached to an electronic device relative to a viewing portal of a lens of an optical device.

Abstract: An apparatus for raising and lowering a vehicle cover is provided. The apparatus includes a flexible member having a first end and a second end, the flexible member configured to flex so that, with the first end positioned adjacent to a vehicle and the second and positioned generally higher than the vehicle, the second end raises the vehicle cover up from the vehicle and lowers the vehicle cover down towards the vehicle. The second end of the flexible member is configured to retain the vehicle cover.

Abstract: A firearm stabilizing clip, for use with a firearm having a rear portion and body armor having a front vertical edge. The clip includes a main part having an upper jaw, a lower jaw, and a hinge between the upper jaw and lower jaw. The upper jaw and lower jaw each have a proximal end. A pair of lever rails are selectively attachable to the proximal ends of the upper jaw and lower jaw to open the main part. A stabilizing fin extends from the upper jaw and includes a broad contact surface. Once the main part is secured over the front vertical edge of the body armor, the rear portion of the firearm can rest against the broad contact surface to steady the firearm.

The fishing pole mount can be used either for storage of a fishing pole or a resting point while the fishing rod is in use.
