Abstract: A holding apparatus for use with an antenna apparatus which includes a pair of rod antennas (1a, 1b), a holding member (2) for holding the pair of rod antennas (1a, 1b), and a mounting shaft (4) projecting from the holding member (2) in a direction opposite to which the pair of rod antennas (1a, 1b) are provided, wherein the holding apparatus is composed of a top cover (10) having opening portions (11a, 11b) through which the pair of rod antennas (1a, 1b) can pass and clipping portions (12a, 12b, 13a, 13b) for clipping the holding member (2) of the antenna apparatus, and a stand base (20) having a mounting hole (21) into which the mounting shaft (4) of the antenna apparatus can rotatably fit.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder for holding a fly rod and reel is disclosed, the rod having a reel seat to which the reel is attached, the reel having a reel bracket for attachment to the reel seat. A first width is defined between spaced points of attachment of the bracket to the reel seat, and a second width is defined generally between spaced intersection points where the bracket and a circumference of the reel intersect to define a crevice. The holder comprises a standard for attachment to an associated structure; and a rod and reel support cradle carried by the standard having a pair of spaced cradle arms; the cradle including an open cradle top, and an open cradle side providing a space for receiving the reel. A cradle bottom receives the rod and reel in a holding position wherein a first distance between the cradle arms near the cradle bottom is less than the reel diameter and generally greater than the second width of the bracket to fit within the crevice.

Abstract: An antenna fixture includes a mount fixture for mounting a parabolic reflecting mirror to a mast fixture fixed to a mast. The mount fixture makes it possible to adjust the azimuth angle and elevation angle of the parabolic reflecting mirror. The mast fixture is a cylindrical body capable of being externally pressure fitted to the mast. The mast fixture includes upper mounting leaves and lower mounting leaves provided with tapped holes. The mount fixture includes side walls, which are externally fitted to the upper and lower mounting leaves. The to side walls include supporting holes which allow bolts to be passed therethrough and threadably attached to the tapped holes of the upper mounting leaves. Near the supporting holes are located azimuth-angle adjusting circular arc holes formed with the supporting holes as a center. Elevation-angle adjusting circular-arc holes are also formed in the side walls with the supporting holes as a center.

Abstract: An outrigger lowering assembly structured to pivot a fishing pole between a generally lowered and a generally elevated orientation, the assembly including an outrigger engagement hub having a retention segment which receives a fishing pole butt end of the fishing pole securely therein, and a pivot segment supportingly extending from the retention segment into pivoted, supported engagement with a base assembly that is secured to the boat.

Abstract: An apparatus for two dimensional orientation of an object, providing independent inclining and rotational capability while controlling undesired reactive motions is described. Applications for such a device occur in the fields of measuring and controlling instruments, machine tools, robotics, and various other disciplines requiring orienting mechanisms, for example the positioning of cameras, antennas, or telescopes. The apparatus can be constructed from five annular members, two annular gears, a series of mounting members, a constraining device, and two controllable motors for rotation of two of the annular members. The first, second, and fifth annular members include parallel upper and lower mounting planes. The third and fourth annular members each include an identical angle between their upper and lower mounting planes. The first annular member is mounted to a fixed surface with second through fifth annular members rotatably mounted on top of the first and succeeding members.

Abstract: An umbrella holder comprising a clamp mechanism; a right/left angular adjustment mechanism, a forward/rearward angular adjustment mechanism; a length adjustment mechanism; and an umbrella shaft and handle securing mechanism. The clamp mechanism includes an upper and lower jaw member, an upper and lower resilient clamp pad, and a clamp screw mechanism. Each upper and lower jaw member is provided with a clamp channel that is covered with the upper or lower resilient clamp pad, respectively. The clamp channels are oriented in opposed relationship and the clamp screw mechanism threadable engages the lower jaw member and rotatably engages the upper jaw member in a manner such that rotation of the clamp screw mechanism causes the upper and lower jaw to be forced together or apart depending on the direction of rotation of the clamp screw mechanism. The umbrella shaft and handle securing mechanism includes a shaft channel clamp and a handle strap assembly positioned below the shaft channel clamp.

Abstract: An adjustable base to hold flag banner poles includes a base and a cylinder which can be adjusted to a certain angular degree. At the base of the cylinder a connecting table is provided for engagement with a base table with a meshing means to couple together the cylinder and the base. On the outside of the cylinder two small round loops are formed to receive and secure another small flag banner pole therein.

Abstract: A device that can be fixed to a cleat mounted on a boat, dock, deck, pier, or wherever a cleat is available. The U bar of the cleat mounted holding device is placed around the cleat, the wing bolt is inserted into the threaded hole formed in the short bar of the U bar and the wing bolt is tightened until the U bar compresses the cleat between the elongated bar and the short bar thus securing the U bar to the cleat; the pivot support bar is rotated to the desired direction and angle relative to the cleat. A fishing rod, or an umbrella, a lamp stand or any other desirable device is placed into the support tube.

Abstract: A combination of a camera mount and a gun mount allowing horizontal, vertical and positional adjustment with manually activated locking knobs allowing comfortable multidirectional shooting with a gun that may be rigidly clamped in any one of a multiplicity of rapidly adjustable positions and with the camera adjustably mounted allowing a hunter to take a picture instead using the gun.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a tree stand, especially suitable for Christmas trees, for holding and adjusting the longitudinal angle of a tree trunk placed in the stand. The stand comprises a base member, a cup member, and a means for selectively adjusting and locking the tree trunk in the stand in a fixed angular orientation. The tree stand of the present invention allows a tree trunk placed in the stand to be easily levelled so that the tree is aesthetically pleasing, appearing perpendicular to a floor surface. The present invention also includes a method of using a tree stand, with or without a cup member, which provides a means to easily and efficiently adjust the angular orientation of a tree trunk. The present invention further provides a means to monitor the level of water contained in the cup member.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder assembly includes a channel, a bracket, a hub and a rod holder. The channel may be mounted on the boat at any angle desired, from horizontal to vertical. The bracket is configured to be slidably inserted within the channel in any of four orientations. The hub, which is rotatably mounted on the bracket, defines a plurality of apertures. A pin is positioned on the bracket. A spring biases the hub against the bracket to a positive, locked position with the pin in one of the apertures. Separate tile pieces, configured to be slidably inserted within the channel, space rod holders on the channel.

Abstract: A stand for supporting the trunk of a tree in an easily adjustable attitude. A clamp can be securely attached to a lower portion of a tree trunk in such a manner that the clamp is immovable with respect to the trunk. A collar extends radially about the clamp and has a convex surface that has a downwardly-facing convex spherical surface and defines a central opening. A base includes a socket having a concave surface shaped to engage the convex surface of the collar matingly and with sufficient friction between the mating surfaces to hold the tree in any selected position with a generally upright attitude. The attitude and orientation of a tree held in the stand are easily adjusted by slightly lifting the collar to reduce the friction between the collar and the socket while rotating or tilting the collar with respect to the socket.

Abstract: A device for holding a fishing rod has a rod engaging section which is pivotally affixed to a base section. The base section is attached, preferably rotatably, to a mounting section. The mounting section is constructed such that it can be alternatively clamped onto a wheelchair, or a lawn chair, or the side of a boat, or stuck into a shore/bank using a specially adapted securing stake. The device is constructed such that upon a fish strike, the rod engaging section swivels toward the direction of the applied force, preventing the fish from pulling the rod into the water. A spring loaded screw can be used to lock the rotating rod section into a set, non-rotatable position.

Abstract: An adjustable, self-gripping and self-balancing fishing rod holder comprises a mounting block adapted to be secured to the gunwale rail of a fishing boat or the like and a cooperating receiver swiveled to the block that holds the rod. The preferably wire receiver holds the handle or grip portion of a fishing rod in such a manner that its grip is increased on the fishing rod when a fish strikes. The resilient, generally rectangular mounting block comprises a rail receptive bore forward of the block's center. Two bolts secure the halves of the block together, frictionally capturing the rail therebetween. The receiver is constructed of a single continuous piece of wire forming a forward cradle, an integral notch, and a central base interconnecting the cradle to the notch. The cradle and notch are offset. A bracket spanning the base pivotally secures the receiver to the block. The bore and the pivot bolt are offset from the center of the block in opposite directions.

Abstract: An outrigger device is provided for automatically controlling outriggers on a fishing boat. The device comprises three strut members connected to a side surface on a fishing boat at given points. Two of the strut members will be of variable length, while the third strut member is of a fixed length. The first variable strut member serves as a base for the main outrigger pole. The second variable strut member and the fixed strut member serve as supporting and controlling struts for the outrigger pole. Variable strut members will be varied, either independently or together, to change the position of the outrigger device to correspond to several different situations.

The clamping elements are joined by a spacer rod having positioning arms extending off each end in opposite directions, each positioning arm being receivable through a bore at one end of each of the clamping elements so that the spacer rods are engaged by locking screws or bolts carried by one of said clamping elements for angular adjustment of the spacer rod relative to each other for adjustably positioning the umbrella carried by said first clamping element relative to the desired part of the golf vehicle to which said second clamping element is secured.
